I booked an appointment and was suggested to download the app to download coupons for my service-so I did. I went to the coupon page and it’s blank. So, if you’re getting it for the savings….dont bother. This review is solely on the app. Roto-Rooter themselves did a fantastic job.
Missing invoice/service details
The app is OK for very basic things like knowing your tech is on the way and you’re basically forced to use it if you want their coupons. However, it lacks any details about your service. You can’t look at invoices, notes from the service or anything else. History just says you had this service on this date.

The Roto-Rooter App is quick and easy to use, very convenient to have an app for my plumbing needs! I highly recommend not only this app, but their service as well. Love the coupons!
Useless
Can not add service address, no history or upcoming service. Useless.
No notification options
I’m unable to access your app as a new customer. When I opened the app it came to the page asking to turn on notifications but never gave the pop up to enable them. I looked through the settings to turn on notifications to see if I could continue but was unable to find the setting. I looked in the app settings and notification settings. I also tried hard rebooting my phone and reinstalling the app but nothing got me closer. Please investigate this further, thank you.

Quick to give outrageous prices.
Ok, so my sewer pipe may have been old but I don’t think there was a hole in it before they came. They charged an outrage fee for snaking and when the camera went down they found a hole. They send other guys for water clean up and within the hour they want 10k and promise that insurance will cover it. Slow down and get a real plumber.
History
Roto-Rooter app was easy to work with and the tips were very helpful! I like that my homes history is stored in the app!

UPDATE: Manager has reached out to “make things right”and says he is sending a check to pay for the tub they destroyed. Dehumidifier:That thing has probably been in so many sewage basements and crimescenes. He said it would ALL be covered by insurance. And it was at the time. Fast forward a few months and I realized why we were told not to shut our bathroom door because of the heat. It’s because the bathroom door was hiding 2 gaping holes in our tub and our drain was destroyed and probably the drain pipe. After over a month trying to get a hold of the manager, customer service and roto rooter corporate and just putting another help request ticket in they were all ignored. When he finally came out because I told him about the damage to our bathtub he admitted to it and said he and his boss would get together and figure something out with insurance. According to RR they’re still negotiating. According to insurance they’re not and they’ve left us with a big fat bill because instead of fixing the parts of our tub that they broke, the cut it up into sections and “disposed of it” saying it was my idea and now they won’t put a tub back in and my insurance won’t cover their incompetence. Seaking all avenues of rectification and letting the world know who they are dealing with.

I love being able to schedule service on the app. It’s extremely convenient.

The app has an address similar to mine, in another location. It won’t even let me pick my address in the list. The app is unresponsive to my taps.

Doesn't work
I scheduled an appointment and received a text telling me I could track the technician if I downloaded this app. It doesn't work and never tracked any of the two appointments I scheduled, forcing me to call them to find out what was going on. Completely useless.

The main drain to sewer line at my house had overflowed. It was a very worrisome situation. Turns out it was clogged and had some roots growing in. It was a great relief getting this taken care of. From the phone call to the on site work, service was professional , on time and courteous. Mike the tech was great. Appreciate it.
Won’t send me the code to verify my phone number and tells me it can’t be sent.
Won’t work starting at the opening of the app. Can’t even get through the set up process.
