Correctly diagnosed a mole I thought had just scarred poorly as basal cell carcinoma. Very scary at first, but made me get it checked out and will be having it removed in 2 weeks
Scam not a free trial
The app was not particularly helpful, had an AI video that couldn’t be turned off and felt generally like a scam. No way to turn off the subscription, that’s their model.

Not sure why the unsubscribe is not in the app (it’s so you get frustrated or forget). Anyway, decent idea and I hope it gets better with time. Didn’t give me anything helpful and you gotta see a professional to be sure or get most treatments 🤷

Worked Well for 1 thing
For me, this worked very well for mole analysis, but when trying to use the Skin Checker to look at any other issues like rashes, etc in my face, I always got “Photo not acceptable” no matter how many different angles, light differences, focusing in different places, etc. I tried about 20 photos with no luck. For Mole checking, seems great, but for anything else…i couldn’t seem to get it to work 🤷
Beware, not forthcoming
I am finding it difficult to stop the auto payment. You cant do it thru the app, you have to go to the app page, which they dont give you a clear link for. It is intentionally difficult to stop and the free trial period says 3 days but you have to stop it 24 hours before the 3 days. It is such a sneaky way to do business. Buyer beware!

Scam App
Charges 38 dollars immediately after clicking free trial. Good thing I used a credit card so I can wait out getting my money back. But stay away, they’re clearly scamming with this one. Nothing is mentioned about charging for the free trial, incredibly unethical.
Can’t upload photos
I don’t know how well the app works because I can’t upload a photo. My husband got a nasty rash with sores when he was in our pond recently, and I grabbed a picture of it before he had to go somewhere. I wish I could’ve just uploaded the photo to the app because I did not physically have him here to scan.

They press you for money immediately and the scan didn’t provide any feedback.
Potentially lifesaving
I’m very grateful for this app. I was getting a little worried about a place on my neck but not too terribly concerned. I tried the app just to see if it could at least identify the spot. Four scans suggested either cSCC or Basal Cell with a risk of 95%. If I’d not seen the ad for this app I’d have let it go. I’m making an appointment with a dermatologist now. Thank you so much for creating something that has an actual impact on lives in a positive way. Sincerely, Staci B
Do not buy!
I signed up for the free trial, charged me $59.99 and refused to refund me! Further, I took multiple photos of a mole, and it came back with a different option each time. Update: app developer advised me to “report a problem”, yet that has provided no recourse as the app developer has refused a refund. No bueno.
100% detected my hubby’s skin cancer
I got this to check my skin for any signs of skin cancer and after about 20 benign lesions results I switched to my husband. He had a few of the same results as I had and then he said oh check this on the back of my hand. It was a pea sized hard calloused looking bump. He said it had been there about 2 weeks. I scanned it and it said cancer! We panicked and went to the dermatologist this past Monday. He had that and another area I hadn’t scanned biopsied and he got the results today from dermatologist that both are squamous cell carcinoma. The one on his hand was labeled as invasive. So thank you to this app! It has not only squashed some fears but at the same time alerted us to something that thankfully can be treated early!!
