Fabulous service
We have used First Derm several times but this is my first time reviewing. Love this app and the dermatologists behind it. It is very difficult in my area to get in to see a dermatologist quickly so I use First Derm. I feel better knowing I can get a quick read on anything that looks suspicious rather than having to wait for my annual dermatology visit.
Bummer
Tried this app, but it has a lot of snags. Requires 2 photos—one close up and the other normal. Tried to add pic from library, but couldn’t. Tried to take photo, but it wouldn’t allow me to reverse the camera (I have a face rash). This app needs a lot more fine tuning!

I sent 2 pictures and got a good response. The only thing I would like to see added is a way to ask a follow up question.

Testée ... Chère pour ce que c’est ...! L’avis du soit disant dermato est pompé sur les résultats Google (véridique ...!), plus de 29€ pour attendre ca au bout de 48h ... sans possibilité de discuter avec le pseudo dermato ... Limite sérieux . Je ne recommande pas cette application.

A very helpful app that’s simple to use, with results reviewed by a medical expert and available to the user as fast as eight hours from submission.
Waste of money
Response to detailed description with photos, of rash on hand was a generic response I could have gotten from the internet. Lots of “could be this”, “could be that” and “go see a doctor”. Horrible app
Decent app
Dermatologists here gave me a basic diagnosis, which wasn’t wrong. But my case was a difficult one, even my GP’s couldn’t diagnose so definitely needed a f2f skin examination. They diagnosed me here with lichenification which was the case but more of a secondary issue due to my main issue of seb derm, a very bad flare up which a private GP specialising in derm diagnosed me with a dermascope, along with many tests from GP. Grateful for the effort tho, they did spend a good amount of time so I’m sure they asked around before they arrived at my diagnosis here so I’m grateful they tried and provided me with a source of help when no one seemed to understand

Ich habe neben einem Arztbesuch diese App getestet. Feedback nach 8Std. und verschenktem Geld: “Bitte gehen Sie zum Arzt”. Vielen Dank für diese Navigationshilfe. Dafür nutze ich in der Regel Google Maps... Keine Diagnose. Geld Weg. Daher eigentlich Null Sterne... Update: Kosten wurden nach nun einer Woche erstattet. Es wurde außerdem zugestimmt das der Arzt hilfreicher in seiner Diagnose hätte sein können. Daher Anpassung auf 3 Sterne.

This app provided everything it said. I had a patch of skin causing me concern. The evaluation was professional and accurate giving me facts for plan going forward.
Scam
Paid , sent a picture of my thigh and stated what condition I had and that OTC lotions didn’t work. The reply 6 hours later was agreement on my condition but on my shoulder !?! And recommendation for product formulation not an actual product name or a rx medication which is what was the purpose . So infuriating ..

Replied faster than expected
I used the website to submit not the app but it’s a very helpful service! I paid for 48hr response but they got back to me in about 30hr. The issue I had was something I’d never would have been able to identify on my own since it didn’t appear as a result when googling or asking ChatGPT. Glad I used it instead of self-diagnosing! They did miss answering the second half of the question I asked but it wasn’t as important.
Scam don’t use
I was experiencing hives and a rash and I took picture to see what could be the cause. I stated that I took prednisone and Benadryl, but wasn’t having any relief. After taking pictures and waiting 48 hours for my response I was told “ you have hives” try using Benadryl or Claritin. I spent $50 to find this out. This app is a scam. Don’t use it.

Incorrect diagnosis
I can’t recommend them. I thought they were good until I got a second opinion in person. Funny thing is, I showed the in person dermatologist the same photos I put on this app. This app gave me a scary incurable disease and I’m glad they were wrong. And I paid for the fastest shin 8 hours service and got it after 48 hours and they won’t respond to my email to adjust the price. This app is a scam to me at this point.

Best ever
I had a worrisome spot on my skin and wanted to know what it was. First Derm shared clear information that made me feel relieved. They recommended a dermatology visit for further inspection, so now I can continue with some peace of mind.
Scam
They said I will get an answer back by 48 hours but then still didn’t get one after 4 days. This is a scam don’t download it.

This app always gives really fast responses and is very convenient to use. It has helped me a lot and saved me time to do other things. Would recommend to download
It works
I had a suspicion that I may have dermatitis or psoriasis in my scalp but I didn’t have a way to find out since I don’t have any health insurance so I decided to give this app a try to see if I could at least get in contact with the dermatologist to be able to diagnose it without paying thousands of dollars. My case was reviewed and confirmed as psoriasis or dermatitis as well as I was given at home treatment options. It’s worth it
You have to pay to even some what use the app ☹️
I couldn’t even submit anything without having to pay. And you had to put in your city and county which was a little odd. So that is why I have this one star.

Scam!!! $65 to Google search what you have. They are not allowed to prescribe. They will give you a generic diagnosis and tell you to saw a derm in person! I could google people’s pictures and do the same. SCAM. Not doctors.

SCAM - Just use Chat GPT
This company is a complete waste of time and money, they took nearly 48 hours to confirm what Chat GPT or other AI apps can tell you, not to mention the extortionate pricing. The otc treatment they recommended didn't was far inferior to what any chat box can offer. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY
