Sorry to say but this app is total trash. I work in fashion and wanted to see what you can do with it but it is childish and options are close to none. Don’t buy it since it isn’t worth a penny.
Great App Idea!
This app is a fantastic tool and the idea/concept is great. It has so much room to grow with future releases & I am looking forward to seeing what’s coming down the track. The option to build your own ‘wardrobe’, of garments you own, so the suggestions are limited to what you have available, would be a major plus!
Good Idea but sadly no Updates since january
I really hoped there would be more content.
Nice idea but basic
I think this is a great idea for an app but at the moment it would only be any use for someone who really doesn’t have a clue about colour basic combinations. More development to include patterns etc would help this app become so much more. It isn’t something I use at the moment, perhaps later if it is improved.
Just one issue!
I love the app, but whenever I try to start the outfit with trousers first, it glitches, hovers in between jacket and trousers, and if I attempt to proceed, it starts the outfit with a jacket! As far as insight into colors that work well together, it truly is an invaluable app.
Poor standards
I expected something more articulated. It simply shows what colours to match with no explanation or advice
Good but needs more choices
Would be nice to be able to start with a shirt color instead of just the jacket/trousers. Would also be nice to have images of actual articles of clothing instead of renderings. Would gladly pay more if there was more functionality.
Needs A LOT of work
… to be useful. The team seems to think there are only four colours of shirt in existence. The graphics bizarrely separate shoes from the outfit. And apparently there are have only ever been two colours of shoe ever made. Random colour combinations like brown blue and pink are encouraged. Generic advice on socks and watch doesn’t change, so is effectively redundant. Takes no account of skin tone. This is at best a prototype. In the meantime Google SuitSupply Lookbuilder and thank me later.
Good, but missing some things
I was expecting materials and it showing each color for the waistcoats and pocket square. So you could imagine I was disappointed when I looked and it just had some text that told me what to put with it. So it would be better if it removed text, added different materials, and used waistcoats pictures and more shoes.
Key feature needed
One thing i think could be usefull could be pattern selection after color picking but aside from that, this is a great app
Very disappointing
Feedback saying there will be lots of updates - but may have been better delaying launch until more complete version available . Currently too simplistic - the choice/ variation is so limited that you don’t need any help to match them - more colours/ patterns and options where assistance would be useful

Good for some color inspiration. I understand ask okey is modest but not so with color so it surprised me there are some areas left out. I was trying to find some combinations for some pink and lavender ties and that was absent which is something small but I wish it did have those options. Considering proff wears a full pink suit I don’t think I’m being too loud. AskOkey is busy with their release of their MTM and looking at the update history it’s been a while so it might be a while longer for more options to be added. It would also be interesting to be able to go in reverse for example having an accessory like a tie or waistcoat and working backwards through jacket and trouser combinations Overall for the price it’s good but it has some room for growth

It’s a really limited app. My expectations were higher.

There should be some options that allow you to choose prebuilt outfits and please add an option for casuals as well.

Daily Reference Source
I love the app, it has helped me color coordinate so much better, easier, and more confidently especially when wearing a shirt color other than white. The only feature that I wish it had was an option for suspender / brace color. Yes, I know, they shouldn’t show. However, it is impractical for those of us working in hot and humid climates to sit at our desks all day wearing a jacket or sports coat. I may be in the minority but I would dearly love and appreciate an option to help me color match my braces to my outfit. Otherwise, it’s a great app. Thank you for creating it for us.

Exactly what I’ve been looking for
This is a great app concept. Simple and elegant. I do okay with the color combinations but sometimes you just want to quickly see your options and offload some of that decision fatigue or maybe map out some pieces you want to get in the future based on what you already have. I look forward to this app growing and covering patterns for the different articles like pinstripes for the jackets and trousers and paisley or stripes for the ties.
Has potential but IMO isn’t there yet
The concept of this app is wonderful, but in the current iteration, it only lets you build a suited outfit. As someone that works in a very conservative corporate setting, even I don’t always have to be in a full suit, and support for business casual styles would be a great addition.
It is just an app
I was expecting it to be functional but it just inputs and gives you the output based on your input. My expectation was to get suggested colors and combinations in the app that can be used in daily dressing.

Good idea, has potential but very basic at the moment. Could do with more content. Could specify more hues, tones, shades, style context, season, colour wheel. At the moment, just reading permanent styles blog would provide more information and detail for serious sartorial advice. Review rating changed in light of feedback. Looking forward to the additional features as mentioned.

Lack of options
The app works perfectly without any bugs. However, it would be even better if there were more pattern options for both suits and trousers, such as stripes, checks, and others.
Handy, but can improve more!
It’s good for basic suggestions, however it would be nice if you could include patterns of fabric to mix and match along with colours. For example Stripes, Herringbone jackets etc that might go with certain colours/ patterns of pants. Another thing you can try to add is Waist Coat colour options as well. Maybe accessories that might go with suits can be added in future.
Great App
Regardless of expertise in the area of curating your attire, this is a must add for the gentleman to match their outfit. Should I add the word properly, yes. I have been watching Mr. Okey’d channel on instagram. During every post I learn something new and refreshing and this app is a great compliment. I’m looking forward to future updates. Semper Fi
Amazing, could do with more options.
Got the app today, everything works no bugs and the colour suggestions work amazingly. The only thing I would suggest is adding options for the jackets such as a double breasted, tuxedo & smoking jackets. I think with the additions it would allow for a more complete and accurate look for my style.
Lacking of essential features
Need the option to save outfit.. and number of options for shirt color is very limited.. need an option where you can choose a shirt color and the app will suggest some colors of pants which matches with the shirt.. and same goes for pants color selection.. These will be very much useful
Great app with room for greater potential.
I started to dress more formal as of recently for everyday wear, and I this app helps a lot with mixing and matching my different shoes, trousers and such. I would like to see more options to start the matching with. Right now the only options are trousers and coats, I would like to see the options of shoes, and even shirts to be the base of my mixing and matching. Even if the shoes option could be limiting in Is recommendations, it would be great nonetheless since I would like to give all my shoe pairs a chance to be worn more often. I’m excited to see what comes next!
Promising
The app is fun to use, agree with other comments that pattern and texture should be added. I have some jackets in shades that the app doesn’t quite capture, look forward to further updates!
More Variations
I like this app very much but I find it limited in its colors. While not recommended, there are colors for dress shirts not on here that are no-no’s in the askokey universe. Same goes for pants and various other suit colors. This app needs to expand more to include variation as well as pattern.

Not good with mix and matchers
I wanted this to help with mixing and matching odd waistcoats with suits and accessories, not to just have it tel me to stick to the same color as the rest of the suit. Needs to be more adaptable or have some of the safeguards taken off for us more adventurous types.
Simple “Okay”
Dear Viewers, if you do not have a clue about dressing, then this is most appropriate. However, someone me who wears a different suit a day, not very helpful. Several materials such as pinstripe suits/shirts are not listed. The only reason why I downloaded this app was such that I could see what I could wear with an odd pinstripe blazer on a Sunday. 3 stars for me. Respectfully, Don
Effortless style!
I cannot overemphasize how much I love this app! The color combinations are easily cross applied from classic menswear to casual wear. It’s been a great help in forming great looking outfits with tougher to coordinate statement pieces in my wardrobe both formal and casual. The only possible improvement I can think of would be the addition of Overcoats and patterned or striped pieces. Thank you Proff!

Slightly disappointed
I've been a regular viewer of AskOkey for a while and my own style is largely inspired by him. But I have to say at this stage this app is very lackluster. The color options I'd say are quite limited and the variety in garments is frankly disappointing. No double breasted suits, no data on patterns and textures, no options for occasion and situation and no options for details such as lapel width, tie width, pleats, the cut and the list goes on. From such a figure such as Okey I would expect much more attention to detail from this. There is so much value in combining different patterns and textures which is completely absent here. I do not like how you need to choose the shirt every time, there is no option for the app to recommend the user shirt colours, the colour options are very limited. I like the concept and I hope that the featureset will be expanded with time. Kindly take my words as constructive criticism in order to improve the app as there is nothing I'd like more than to have an app which can clearly recommend me colour recommendations. I think a feature which allows you to feed into the app all the garments you own and then the app automatically recommends combinations using items in colors you already own.
