Great playing
It plays awesome and makes the digital game so quick and easy to play but it needs more functionality. Every single game I have to repick my color and character because it defaults back to the main default. I should be able to keep and use a player profile that saves my preferred trains, color, guy, etc. Also, I’d love stats from game to game. I need definitive proof that I’m much better at this game than my wife.
Black screen
I’m playing this game on my phone, the main screen is on the PlayStation. On all iPads it works fine. On the phones the game won’t load and we have to restart the game. Even then you need luck to be able to join, 9/10 times my phone screen turns completely black and I am in the game on the main screen, but am unable to play. We’ve tried restarting the game 5 times and none of the times has it worked. This is very frustrating please fix this!!!

Not very convenient to use
We tried to use companion app along with the main screen, but it’s extremely inconvenient to use. Companion app simply copies the main one on the tiny iPhone screen (good luck reading the tickets) and basically disconnects you from the main screen so everyone plays looking into their own phones. Switched back to pass to play mode which feels more social and handy.

They’ve made many improvements over time. This is a great app for playing TTR with friends.
Couldn’t Find Our Game Result
It was hard to figure out how to use this app to join in the first place, because you have to keep switching back-and-forth on the main user phone between the main app and the companion app. Then, once the game was finished, it said to find the scores in the “main” app, but the game was nowhere to be found. The scores should be tallied and displayed for each player in the companion app! This is ridiculous and frustrating. We are going to go back to playing the traditional board game.
Works great!
This makes Ticket to Ride so fun to play! Worked great for our 4 player game. Our only complaint is that the game doesn’t remember all of the player data when starting a new game.
When are you going to fix it?
Great game. Love playing, but it hasn’t been working lately. Please fix.
Severely lacking in explanation of rules
Functions well enough if you know the rules already, but the rules are only accessible from the main-menu’s settings. This means you must read rules for the game mode you’re going to play before getting everyone to join a match. Allow the players to check rules during a match, just for the current game mode. On top of this, the USA expansions are ALL grouped under the USA1910 tab, which is needlessly confusing; rename the tab, or give each expansion its own game. Bonus tip to devs: For a couch play sessions with the companion app, it should not be required for the players to pass around a controller at any point, including character, color, or train selection. Place this customization into the companion app, because we have just stopped using it because the controller passing is so unnecessary.
Great way to play game
Someone has to buy the paid version and everyone else can use this app. A lot easier than playing on a board. We chrome-cast to TV and we all sit around using our phone to play our turns. Family away from home can also play with us for free
Terrible app with no support
Can’t even get through a game with my wife while sick at home. Disconnects mid round every time or never even loads. I’ve never written a review but I’ll gladly write one for this terrible app
Needs more QA testing
In 1 game I was able to find multiple bugs that affected the game in a negative way. When I started a USA map game, it switched the color and character names with the other person I was playing with locally through this app. So that was confusing and annoying. Next, there was a bug that made it difficult to finish the game. They made my train color and the AI train color green, even though we both had different colors on the selection screen. So I couldn't see which were my trains vs their trains unless I remembered the routes I took. Otherwise the app worked well, but if I was able to find multiple bugs in 10 minutes of playing, any decent QA team should be able to fix plenty of bugs in one days work.

Very nice to be able to play the game this way. The connection needs some improvements as we have to restart the app in almost all games.

Good idea, needs work
Add support for Apple TV. To use that as the “display” so that I don’t have to switch apps on my phone to play. Just an idea. Open app on the Apple TV. And set it up there with the QR code and the game number. Would definitely enhance the experience.
Great for Hiding Cards
The companion app works great when we want to be more secretive and not share the main screen. No technical issues whatsoever!

YOU CAN ONLY PLAY IF SOMEONE ELSE HAS THE HOSTING ONE AND THEY CAN ONLY HOST!!!! IT IS SO STUPID

Downloaded for ps4 game, game wouldn’t give a code, app wouldn’t do anything

Just finished a 4 player game with mix of android and iOS companion devices. Works great.
Does not work
We couldn’t get the app to work for 2 hours. Says it can’t connect with the lobby. Brutal that you don’t know the companion app doesn’t work until after you buy the game on your console..
Worked Great!
Make sure everyone is on the same WiFi. If it doesn’t work just have everyone close down the app and reopen and reconnect. One of the phones will need to be a “hub” so we used an iPad for that and then we played on our phones. We also screen shared on our tv so everyone playing could see what the score was for everyone and who was up. We had a blast!
FIX THIS!!!
This game/ app is TONS of fun! When it works! Half the time, a players screen will freeze and the whole game is ruined. Five stars after they FIX THIS HUGE ISSUE.
