Can’t see a film or series without checking first!
Constant Glitches
Great app if it consistently worked but updates are constantly needed and it randomly logs you off without saving your username or password. It’s an app yet the engineers have made something needing rocket science apparently to maintain.
Critics
I hate how movie critics give our favorite movies bad reviews like spider man brand new day, but I guess it is their opinion. Just assign them a movie that they would like which can make it work out for the audience who care about movie reviews!
Harder to find a film despite AI to help
I have loved the website for rotten tomatoes for so long, it’s still where I want my movie reviews, but their app leaves a lot to be desired. Messy, clunky, a basic question posed to its AI didn’t respond after waiting a full minute. Do better guys.
Counterintuitive UI
This app is not designed the way people search for movies, either to watch at home or in the theater. There’s some other agenda going on here.
Streaming Made Easy
I love this app! I’ve always struggled to find something to watch. I have nearly every streaming platform, so having RT helps me find interesting things to view, with the bonus of knowing how it rates.

I love seeing the critical reception for films and tv series but I wish that the app had an option for disabling auto play videos. It drains the battery a lot and is also an accessibility issue.

The new RT format is terrible and the search icon is still too small and in the wrong place. Try again PLEASE
Technically flawed
This app works well but uses up gigs of storage space in the background. I don’t have that problem with other apps. Please fix!
My go to source for movies and TV
I feel that RT’s app is the best because Critics and audience reviews offer the ultimate important dual perspectives.

Not a fan of this app. Had to delete and just use RT on my browser. App repeatedly froze.

This app is always glitching, lagging, or being unresponsive. Very disappointing. Similarly, navigating the layout and formatting of this app is tedious and annoying. However, when it is working properly, it is fairly enjoyable, helpful, and fun to use.

I’m not sure how this got 4.5 stars
I don’t write a lot of reviews, like most people, it’s got to be fantastic or terrible to get a reaction strong enough to bother to rate. If you want to select your streaming services and find a movie on a service you subscribe to, this is not for you. Maybe I don’t understand what the app is for, in which case, I apologize to the developers. The navigation is not intuitive or consistent from screen to screen, or accurate- for instance clicking on “Full Review” in “Death of Robinhood” took me to a review for “Supergirl”- filtering on my streaming services and then selecting one of the displayed movies told me “no offers in your area”, so… just so you know that I’m (probably) not an idiot or technically inept- 30 years in IT/Tech Support and I’ve developed several apps.

Your rating scale is 5 stars, where half a star is significant. I’d argue that .25 and .75 options are needed. If I thought a movie was a 7.5/10 guess what, that’s not a rating option presently. The equivalent would be 3.75 but you don’t do stars in .25 increments so I’d either have to raise it to a 4/5 or lower it to a 3.5/5, either options resulting in a disingenuous rating.
Good for reviews
Good for reviews but it’s American details, for where to watch and booking tickets etc. I’d have thought this would be regionalised so that’s a shame. The only win is it’s easier to search for stuff via app than the website

Great app but lots of bugs
Let me start of by saying that this is a great app but is very buggy. The screen freezes when scrolling and gives error signs when writing reviews for movies, please try your best to fix that. All in all though, great app 👍

Warning: this app used over 1.5gb of storage. Why is it storing that much data? No way to clear the cache in-app. This is unacceptable!

Landman
Landman had a lot of potential, I thought, however, terrible narcissistic, oversexed characters who act completely ridiculous and inappropriate, ruins the main storyline. The viewers are driven to distraction with the nonsensical portrayal of unrealistic actors. I tried three times to watch it and finally got through four episodes and I am done. I’m told the writing in Season 2 is worse. Too bad, I am a huge Billy Bob fan.

Awesome app
I’ve always loved the Rotten Tomatoes reviews. It gives me a really good idea of what the actual audience thinks, in addition to the critics of course. The app is easy to use, and I really like creating Watch lists with the Rotten Tomatoes ratings right there.
Buggy & Deletes Lists
This app has been painfully buggy for me recently. I regularly have a custom list for movies that I’ve heard about and want to look into- when I decide that it’s something I want to watch, I move it to my Watchlist. The process of removing a single movie from my watchlist (just unchecking the box) caused a glitch that removed ALL the movies from that list to be deleted from the list. This has happened twice now. The worst part is that there’s practically no way to get in touch with customer support for the app, so movies on these spur-of-the-moment lists are gone forever. It’s been incredibly frustrating, especially as there’s no solutions for these bugs.

Probably just trying to sell Fandango memberships by not let people filter out those results. Useless.
