Apple Watch
This is an awesome app. I use it all the time works awesome. The only downside I can’t get it to my Apple Watch if you could fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Not even accurate
At first the app worked great. Then it updated and it hasn’t been accurate at all since. The compass is backwards and the wind direction is opposite. West wind comes up as east wind.
Widget
“Can’t retrieve location” it shows in the widget.
It’s ok
I’ve used the app for several years, but now deleting it. Hourly forecast of the wind used to work well, but now you have to scroll through previous days hourly wind forecast before you can see the current day/future. Why would it ever be necessary to see what the wind was doing 12 hours ago? Features are slowly being taken away for the paid subscription, like daily forecast, and the ads to subscribe only increase in frequency. There’s better options out there.
Live updates
No live updates, need to update by having to press again and again, wish they would have live updates but instead it stays on the last city driven through until I update it , as a truck driver I pass through 100 cities a day not ideal for me, hope they can fix it

Good app idea, too buggy
I often have to reload the app several times to get it to load and display its data. It’s a good app w the basic info I need on wind, so I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for this.
Truckers Love The App.
A few of my fellow Trucker buddies put me onto using this app and I’ll say this. It’s accurate, and straight to the point… This app has probably saved many Truck driver’s job’s, and lives…

So, I “try” to look at WindCompass and it comes up with an advertisement for the full version and won’t let you exit out of it unless you buy it. Useless

When I’m standing in the fairway and I have some doubt, I open the app and double check.

Wind direction incorrect,90% Ads unable to use some of the backgrounds , can not see air quality, hopeless on iPad
Unreliable
App is OK. Lately it has been going down repeatedly. Also, the iOS widget keeps reporting the feels like temp in Celsius not Fahrenheit. I have reported this frequently with no resolution.

Wowsers! App just got very much better! Would be great if highest wind gust recorded on a date could be included in the “Time Machine” portion of the app where prior days weather readings are stored… Also… If only the widget could show the wind at a fixed location say summer house during a hurricane or if one had wind sensitive equipment that one needed to monitor at a distance… that would possibly be another the best use for the widget!!!

Wind speeds in Dana Point coastal area are grossly under estimated.
Widget doesn't work on iOS 18
please fix the widget. I like the app and especially the widget but ever since iOS 18, the widget no longer appears and I can't add it back.

Unauthorised purchase
The app itself is ok, but it made an unauthorised purchase of Premium & it won’t give me a refund. Give me back my £14.49 immediately please.
Request cannot be completed
The app is great when it works. But 9 times out of 10 it cannot find my location or show me results for any location. The error message: “The request could not be completed. Please try again.” Unfortunately, multiple attempts and no success. Maybe the paid version works consistently?

Unable to show my location
I have been using this app for several years now, and was more than satisfied with it. However, in the past week sometime it stopped acquiring my location. This is the only app that cannot acquire my location.

Not accurate
Definitely not a good tool for aviation. Winds are actually 220 and it’s showing 280. Not even close to being worth a purchase with that large of a difference
Not sure of its accuracy
I use this app in conjunction with several others to get an overview. This allows me to check accuracy. I’ve gotten rid of other apps, among them, The Weather Channel. This app still remains on my list.
This is the best app for wind and weather
I had this app in the past and my phone got water damage and I always keep forgetting to put it back on so I did so just a little bit ago and I really missed it because it’s really works so great for me to me. It’s one of the best.
Wind Compas off
Couple years ago this app was amazing, now the North points West but other times North points East? Also my bedroom window is rattling from the strong winds coming South/South West yet this app says 4mph West?

This app, if it does load for you, which it probably will not is not very accurate, not impressed
Good for cycling
Helps you to plan a route for a bike ride so you can have the wind on your back on the way home
Wrong location showing
Works only 50% of time. Most time shows south instead of north...
Nice little app
The widget is very handy as it gives the minimum info but enough. The main app has now become less useful unless you pay for the annual plan. The problem with these subscriptions they likely to be bad value for money. Also they can go out of business fast and you end up paying and no refund. As I say it’s generally a nice little app and also unique style of presentation, simply.

Compass part sucks
Compass is always out quite a bit.

Wind speed seemed accurate...same with the weather network app reading...but the wind direction is off...not the same direction as shown from other app.
