What people like
- Simple and fun for quick breaks.
- Great for beginners learning new words.
- Feels like a classic Scrabble game.
What they complain about
- Ads pop up after every single move.
- The dictionary rejects common valid words.
- It drains your battery and heats up.
Great game
I’ve only lost 2 games I wish I knew how many I’ve played. Ok I play almost everyday I’m up in the hundreds of games now
Too many ads
An ad after every move is just to much. Will be deleting
Love It But……
I do real enjoy the game for all the reasons others have stated. BUT I disagree there are way too many ads. Ads are longer than the actual time you can play. Really ?After every single move is a bit much. Thinking about deleting just to frustrating. Thanks
Kills battery
This game is fun, but it just eats my battery and makes my phone very hot. making it very hard to play
Words
Too many texting abbreviations - not even words
Thank you!
Truly one of my favorite games! I really enjoy the tournaments and love the addition of the word of the day! The developers seem to have corrected the overheating issues! Thank you for caring!
Too many ads
Ads pop up constantly
Many ads make me crazy
An ad after EVERY game and in between …COME ON…..
Get rid of the ads
Fun to play but there’s a crazy amount of ads it’s ridiculous
Fun but too easy
It’s a fun game but the computer player needs to be more competitive. I’ve won every game I’ve played by 40+ points
Excellent Word Game
Great game. Keeps me going for hours. Lots of fun.
Very disappointed
I just deleted this app too many ads. Previously the ads were fine now every minute or so ad campaigns over and over. No problem with ads but this is annoying. Too many other games without this many ads.
Words
This is a great game BUT the advertising is ridiculous . It takes longer to watch the ads than to,play. Tiring just waiting to play
Terrible Dictionary
Allows ridiculous archaic words like ‘sye’, doesn’t allow perfectly acceptable English words, eg ‘queer’
Too easy
Needs to be more challenging
Challenging
Found the game to be challenging but didn’t understand how some of the opponents words were accepted. Still enjoyable!
Deleting
Way too many commercials and stupid non-words allowed. Will find a better game
Easy Words
My first time playing this game. It is like Scrabble.
Won't accept common
Since when is QUEER not a word? But QUEEN is? If this is all about what words are acceptable in a conservative mindset, that is so sad. And if so, QUEEN also may stray outside those parameters if you think about it. Please. Don't. Censor.
Annoying
This game is too hard and annoying and stay off your phones you can play this on a white board 🤳🏼🚫🤬😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
easy words
fun game
Ads interrupt the game
I had more than 3 ads interrupt my games. I stopped playing as the ads in the middle of playing are very annoying.
Words
Wish more words were allowed.
HATE the change
Loved this game when I first got it. But the change away from seeing where you stand in relation to other players and competitions to get the highest cumulative score to a silly word of the day is awful. I’m playing less and less. You spoiled a great game for me.
Annoying Amazon Ads
The developer replied to an earlier comment about ads requiring you to close out game to continue. Said should be able to click out after 10 seconds. That has been mostly true, but Amazon ads remain a major pain.
Fun
Fast paced, challenging and interesting game. Good fun!
Freezes
Game freezes up with some ads
Actually English?
Love the game, but question if all words are actually English? 😆
Bombarded by fake adverts
Most adverts are fake, purporting to be genuine companies such as Boots and Sketchers, but the products being advertised are not at all associated with these companies. It is extremely disappointing that these adverts are not monitored and blocked
Needs fixes
Either needs to be updated or needs fixes because pretty common words are marked as invalid. Legitimate common words.
Cute Simplicity
Daily Crossword App delivers a bright burst of smart fun like a coffee break for your vocabulary. It’s witty, upbeat, and delightfully habit‑forming. Each puzzle feels like a happy little duel between you and your own brilliance.
Ads
An ad every time you make a word playing scrabble STUPID. Takes 20 minutes to finish a game with only 45 seconds of actual play time.
Great
Great fun
Mots injustes
En français, le jeu accepte WON (chinois) et pas CRAMER (verbe français)
Good game
Honestly a good game, quick play, odd dictionary trying to be PC. The one issue is it’s just too simple, it appears to be aimed at a reading age and vocabulary of an eight year old, shame there’s no control on this, spoils it
Warrior
Coolest game ever
Too Many Ads
Ads every other word. I’ve had other word games that didn’t have ads so frequently. I’ve deleted the app because of the frequent ads
Jeu
Trop de publicités trop longues
Ads after every turn on the board 🙅🏻♀️
I love the main elements of this app, it's calming, quick to update and easy to play. However, having an ad after every single turn is making it lose its interest, especially when there are other apps that do the same thing without showing me an ad every 30-45 seconds (literally, I'm not exaggerating.) £14.99 to turn off ads is a total cash grab and completely against the market standard for mobile games, that usually range between £1.99 and £5.99 to stop ads. I'll probably end up deleting it, sadly.
It’s ok
It’s a ok game,if ou can put up with the adverts.
Fun
Easy words available to play for beginners
Hints
Can we get rid of the hint feature, just an easy way to cheat especially during the tournaments!
Mécontentements
Beaucoup de mots acceptés au Scrabble ne le sont pas dans Easy Words
Recognise words
Feud is an english word
Annoying ads
This would be 5 star but for the constant ads after every move particularly Temu which is driving me mad
Fun.
Lots of fun and not too difficult.
KC nor CL are words
I realize it is fun to play Scrabble and always win. However, I'm not satisfied when the opponent puts the letter C in to spell KC and CL Not legitimate words.
Soothing scrabble longings
I was glad this popped up as it reminds me of Scrabble. Shame the actual original game seems to have all but disappeared. :-/
Easy & Addictive, but infuriating.
Constant advertising interruptions & operating with a nonsensical dictionary have made me decide to delete this app & never use it again. It refuses to accept certain words in current use whilst using others I’ve never heard or seen in my life & I have a pretty extensive vocabulary! You end up finding it very limiting & frustrating, & l just can’t take any more frankly. If using an English dictionary then stick to one that makes sense!
It’s Scrabble
