I started off bad, but I got better
The more you play the better you get
It shoots something.
I do not like that when I tap I shoots something instead of moving it. I try to jump and land on a platform and it just shoots something. I don’t like that. It also makes me whisper scream bad words. And nobody likes that. It makes me feel like I want to delete the app.

The original is way better
I was initially delighted to find a version of doodle jump on Apple Arcade since the original is frankly unplayable due to the ads. But this unfortunately falls short. Honestly, it’s too hard and gets stale very quickly. Unlike the original you have to unlock new levels by collecting gems. This process is painstaking and annoying with one game garnering 5 gems at most, and the number of gems needed to unlock each level doubles each time making it take forever by the time you’ve unlocked just 3 levels. And these levels are boring. They don’t change much and just make the game harder. No power-ups or interesting scenery to be found. And worst of all, the option to manually calibrate the game is gone, meaning if you want to play while not in a perfectly straight position, you’re short of luck. There is no settings menu at all, which is frankly disturbing. Overall this game fell short of my expectations and I’d rather deal with ads than play this lobotomized and stale evolution of an App Store classic.

The best mobile game put on Apple Arcade :)
This game is peak and amazing, this is not one of my favorite mobile games that is not an Apple Arcade game, it’s addictive, somewhat nice controls, and just really fun. The only problem I have with this game is that if you’re playing in on iPad, it is not really great, don’t get me wrong. It’s still amazing game, but the iPad controllers are somewhat terrible.

They claim it’s the most addictive game on App Store. I couldn’t stand playing for ten minutes. Not worth the time spent developing it.

Um… I don’t get it
Ok, so this game is not too bad but… I DONT GET IT. Yes it does say insanely fun (and there’s no ads 😏) but still. There ARE monsters. And even though it says insanely fun… it’s pretty hard. What I DO like though is that there are TONS of different skins which makes it fun. I don’t want the creators of this game to feel bad or anything. I would say just make it a bit more fun. Just giving my honest opinion.

This is a really cool app with some cool features. If you’re considering getting this app definitely do it’s really cool! Just one thing though- you need loads of stars to get to the next level. Other than this amazing app! I have recommended this to all my friends!
Improvements need to be made
This game is fun tho at the same time it’s a bit annoying. The fact that u have 2 tilt the screen is the annoying part. This needs to be improved. I’ve had the game for 5 mins and I still haven’t been able to get my score higher than 700!😮

Challenging, but could be better
challenging but maybe a little to challenging it would be much better with difficulty settings that would alter how many platforms there are and how common trampolines and springs are found but other than that great game
Good but buggy
Game is fun but tends to be buggy occasionally: app doesn’t open sometimes (black screen appears and app needs to be redownloaded) and gyroscope calibration is sometimes not appropriate. Also, would be nice to reach higher game levels more quickly.

The bug keeps bugging
Perfect spare time entertainment. Brings fun but doesn’t get me hooked for too long. Now the stars are not counting up anymore. My score is stuck on 500 but the next level doesn’t unlock and the new stars are just disappearing. Gets kind of frustrating

Worst game ever
I’ve played a lot of games and I’m pretty sure that this is the second worst one that I’ve ever played in my life. There’s 0% chance that you could win this game zero
Genuinely amazing… with one caveat
This is the most addicted I’ve ever been to a game. I can’t stop playing it. It’s literally perfect, fun, doesn’t lag, or consume a lot of battery but there’s just one problem… there’s too little to earn as you play. Like, once you’ve unlocked the nine characters, there’s absolutely no incentive to play it anymore. I would’ve wished that we would’ve gotten more characters (not even a new level or game just a character that you could unlock by making new high scores), that would legitimately make me play it a lot more. But either way, good game. 😊
Fun but after a long time…
I playin my free time andit was fun butI got really good at the level then it got boring THEN I had to do it over and over till I have enough stars it is recomended for short term use.

Stars counting broken
Every time I finish a game, the amount of stars I have randomly changes. One time it will be 320 one time it will be 220, then 315 then some other random number. It’s pretty ridiculous and preventing me from going up to the next level.
Good fun but..
Like many others I enjoyed my time with the original game and was very excited for the sequel. I found this one to be fun but there needs to be more than 9 themes, there is more going on in them this time but it just leaves me wanting more. Another thing is the rain level didn’t have any puddles, it is identical to the regular theme, just with rain and the characters are wearing coats. Please update the game so it has like 20 or so themes and change the rain one so it actually has puddles.

Simply not as fun as the original Doodle Jump. Stars are too scarce and progress feels too slow. It ends up being more frustrating than engaging.
