The seven minute works out app is fabulous. I created my own core workout and have done it 2500+ times in the past 7 years. Since the workout is short that makes it easy to do every day!
iPad version refuses to restore purchase
I’ve had this app for many years but haven’t used my iPad version in a long time. When I launched it today, it refused to restore my purchase and it forced me to sign up for a subscription to continue. The help article shows an iOS screen that doesn’t look anything like the version on my iPhone or my iPad.

it’s a good workout but the AI sucks!
as a middle-aged woman, just trying to get some exercise in in the long winter we have in the snowy tundra, I just needed to start somewhere. I did seven minutes in the morning a long time ago. I can’t remember the app that I used clearly it wasn’t this one! as soon as the seven minutes ended, the AI voice said you look like you could go again. How demotivating! You’re right I do need to do it again. I’ll do it again tomorrow, but not with this app.

I like to download several apps when I’m looking for a new one and then try them all and pick my favorite. Not very many free options on this one and I’m not a fan of the AI.

PROs Good for beginners. This version is great for people that don’t want use it with any heart rate monitors / Wahoo products. It shows you videos of intended exercises and their count down timer. CONs The app DOES NOT work with Wahoo fitness products. It would be great if the user can select priority on larger numbers or bigger follow videos on screen. It was excellent app when used with Tickr chest strap as it would automatically count users reps (and compared stats to a previous workout at the end of the session).

I use different devices and it only saves custom workouts to one. Also difficult to log into new devices
Fast and easy
Workouts are easy demonstrated with videos multiple workouts countdowns between routines. You can do one after the other if you feel like doing more than a seven minute workout, you can do the same workout twice or multiple workouts. Highly recommend.
Bogus Charge
I haven’t even opened this app, let alone subscribe to a Pro membership. I look at my phone and there’s a charge. Then when I try to mess with my settings in the app it conveniently can’t connect.

This app helps keep me on track and motivated. I feel the benefits daily. My mantra is “The hardest thing is getting started”, because once I start, I know that I will finish.
Not able to add injuries...
I can't use this app. I have sciatica in my back, a repetitive strain injury in my knee, and carpool tunnel in my wrist. You should be able to add injuries to your exercise plans so that you're able to not do certain exercises. Your app needs to be more planned for people who are human beings, who have injuries that can't be fixed. To be honest I find this app useless at the moment.
Great, except…
This app is great. I’ve used it for almost 3 years. The only downside is that it used to be around $25 to buy unlimited access. Now it is $49.99 per month for the same.
Dropped the hr support
No longer keeps track of reps or hr with Wahoo Tickr. This is a big step backwards. Also white text overlay on video is impossible to read.
Have to pay for the full package
This is great but it forces you to pay for any workouts that are different to the original. Also you have to pay if you want to change the length and rest times so it doesn’t really allow you to progress very easily without having to pay.

Open app. Click get started. Get a screen that brags about all you can do and then NOTHING!! Nothing to click, no way to leave screen. Totally non-functioning app. :(

Not really flexible
Some nice preprogrammed workouts, but I am unable to create my own workout using any exercise already present. Also not possible to vary total exercise length: length exercises, rest and workout are set for the whole app. I really would appreciate a longer custom workout after a busy day woth already present exercises.
More workouts
If there were at least one more free work out session I would give this a 5/5!

Worst workout app ever
Why is this so bad, you ask. Well, first of all you can only do one type of workout that is free. The rest, well, YOU HAVE TO PAY!!!!! So, my children wanted to do a workout so I got them this app. And we did the first and ONLY free workout. It was fun and tiring, but when we went to do another, different workout it said “Please sign up for a trial. Just 69.99$ a month!” SO PLEASE DON’T GET THIS APP!!! PLEASE!!!
New format not so great
This workout content is still excellent as is the idea, but the new app does not improve on the old despite now having to pay for some features. The robot voices are awful, and the time reminders were helpful (not just the final seconds remaining). Just bring back the humans and it would be back to it’s great self!
A few issues
The workout is good, but the app doesn't work well. It says in the FAQ that it prompts to connect to the Health app after the first workout. I've done 5 or 6 workouts now and it still won't connect to Health. Also, the Watch app doesn't work at all. I press on Start Workout and nothing happens. The screen just goes blank. This app definitely needs work.
Pilates workout is a rip off
I’ve been using 7 min workout for years and love it. That’s why I thought purchasing the Pilates workout would be a safe bet but boy was I wrong. The exercises are very poorly described and the videos don’t match. Also 30 seconds is just not enough to do the exercise properly. I think you really need to improve this if you want to charge $14.99. Not happy!
Perfect workout for me for the time I have!
I love this 7 minute workout! I don't have much time to exercise, so this is perfect. These simple exercises work out my whole body just in 7 minutes on days that I don't have time. It get most my major body muscles, ligaments, fascia and bones!
Constantly does not work off the watch
I have spoken with the so-called support. They claim they cannot reproduce the fault. And yet I can. I would definitely never take the paid version.

Way below competition
This looks like a fake, cheap app compared to the original 7MWC. The whole point of this app being used is to motivate you, to do the exercises by providing a platform with smart grouped trainings and progress tracking, etc. But the fact that it is using a computer generated voice, that sounds so "neutral" and fake, ruins the whole experience. Same for the mid-excercise reminder, or the "go!" attitude... feels like eating proteins and required things that have no taste. Will go back to 7MWC, this is not working for me

I like the app and made several custom workouts. I wish they offered more than 4 workouts to choose from - especially for those that purchased the upgrade.

I really like this app and I just got into a relay team in my school and I am also doing 800m and 200m and lucky last 100m. I did it last year but I didn't workout and I came 2nd last but that is all going to change with this workout app 😊 I might have a chance of going to the next level in running so thank you for this app 😎😎😎
Defect in app
I upgraded to the PRO version so I could do multiple sets. That doesn't work. The app just quits after each set. The app description on iTunes has been changed so that this feature is excluded, but it still appears in the app. I've asked twice for this to be fixed. Last request just ignored. My first request was made many months ago. Very poor customer service. Get something from a developer who does what it says on the box it'll do.
Has potential
only 2 exercise routines at present and a pilates routine. You can make your own but... What makes this app different is the auto rep counting in combination with the ticker x HR monitor. Thus you can just concentrate on beating your previous effort. This feature does not work with custom exercises! Good idea, but need more routines!
The App That Helps Me Exercise Every Day
I’ve been using the 7 Minute Workout app and I’m really enjoying it. What I love the most is how easy it makes exercising, even on busy days. The workouts are short (only 7 minutes), but they are surprisingly effective. The app guides you through different exercises with clear instructions and a timer, so you don’t have to think about what to do next. You just follow along. It’s perfect for people who want to stay active but don’t have a lot of time. I can do it at home, without equipment, and still feel like I did a good workout. Another thing I like is that it helps me stay consistent. When a workout is only 7 minutes, it’s much easier to say “yes” to exercising every day.
New version is rubbish
I used to love this app! Just went to use it for the first time in a while and hate the new format. What were they thinking? Can’t see what the next exercise is, it shows white writing on a white background (who’s the creative genius behind that?) There used to be two free workouts, now it appears you have to pay. You’ve lost me, I’ll be finding a better 7 minute workout app.

7 minute workout is perfect when you don’t have the time or effort to go to the gym. Doing at least one of these each day has changed my life!

App is great, but example video's don't work (ios9, air 2) just blank screen. Voice is terrible. Counter works oke with the ticker X To expensive to unlock all workouts, considering the price you allready payed for the TickerX...
7 Minutes - Great, needs stretching
After years of neglecting exercise this app has helped me to maintain a regular morning routine. Awesome. If it included a stretching routine, as I'm sure it will, then it will deserve 5 stars.
