The pro version is not living up to its name.
The developer has not only imposed strict usage limits on the pro version, but also revoked the permission to use the advanced model in thinking mode for the pro version.

Superb
Doesn’t record sound on AirPods
After recent release the app doesn’t record sound from AirPods. So if the phone is away the recording doesn’t work which is a big disappointment

Traveling made easier!
I used this app constantly while traveling in China as a non-native speaker, especially for long speeches and sightseeing tours. Google Translate couldn’t keep up with those conversations nearly as well, but TwinMind was incredibly helpful! The summarization feature worked really well and made it easy to go back and review later when I needed to
Absurd pricing
They keep on increasing the price and launching more and more expensive tiers, leaving out the earlier adopters in lurch, rated one star.
Lifetime removed
My lifetime Pro for early users was revoked. Update: Resolved, somewhat.
Bug in recent app, live activities triggered despite disabling in settings

The app is not working properly, it can’t handle even simple queries.
A small suggestion
It’s becoming less and less user-friendly for early adopters, with increasingly premium subscription tiers being introduced. Now even the Pro version can’t use the Thinking model anymore—you need the Max version for that. Even though it’s not useful to me, it’s still kind of sad to see that I can’t use it anymore. I really loved this app before, and I still do. I’m just a little disappointed! If possible, I hope they could give Pro users a certain quota for using the model, and once that quota is used up, users would have to wait a certain amount of time—or a month—before it’s restored. That way, it wouldn’t come at such a high cost! I understand that developers aren’t philanthropists—they need revenue to keep the app growing! This is just a suggestion. The app is great, and I hope it keeps getting better!

2026 Update: I've been recording YouTube speeches, podcasts, etc. recently. TwinMind is absolutely fabulous for transcribing, providing summaries, action steps, and answering any questions I may have. The e-mail "digests" based on my past activities are intellectually stimulating, making me think about what I have listened to. Its main capability is transcribing conversations. However, even interacting with the in-app ChatBot has been extremely helpful. It can search the web to assist with research, and has advised me regarding additions to my personal website. The TwinMind team are eager to help and are continually improving the app. Can't recommend this app enough for those wishing to utilize AI for productivity and other life pursuits.
Can’t get Past Onboarding Screen
With the update, I can’t get past the onboarding screen and can’t setup an account.
Needs stability improvements.
The app constantly freezes and crashes and if meetings aren’t recorded you’re at the mercy of this app to hope that it somehow saved everything and up to what point - you really don’t know. The little box for taking notes is horribly implemented and when you’re typing notes because of the size of the box, it’s literally bouncing up and down on the screen because there’s not enough room. It also lacks even the most basic formatting: bulletpoint, bold, etc. It feels like this is for people that really don’t want to take notes but I use it to supplement my notes and catch what I miss because I take very detailed notes.

Changing to paid model
Unfortunately the app isn’t going to be free anymore for pro users unless you were grandfathered in, although it’s still being advertised as such. Not a big deal since there are plenty of other free AI apps, just unfortunate to have to deal with switching now.

This app is 80 % one of the most useful AI that I encountered. Is missing something in feature, but I just don’t know what it is. Overall definitely worth the download

Absolutely love this app. It’s a beast, not just an AI reorder and summarized, although most users will unfortunately not experience much beyond that use case. If I had to ding this team on one thing, it would be on marketing and value proposition. 1. real-time on-device transcription, which means even if you have a bad wireless connection, your workflow is uninterrupted. 2. They claim to have the best transcription engine, and I happen to agree, including translating more languages than one would ever need. 3. Interact with the notes in real-time. 4. Chat with a recorded note and make corrections, including identifying the correct speakers. 5. Record your own thoughts and notes. 6. Chat and draw inferences across notes. And, the final kicker, 7. Connect to your Claude account via an MCP. Put all those things together and you have got the ingredients to use it as a second brain, and if you are really passionate about taking this to the next level, an even more sophisticated second brain with Claude in the picture. This team is brilliant and could use some marketing help.
Doesn’t work
Can’t even get past the log-in screen even after giving it all my info it doesn’t open the app I’ve tried everything including Apple log in. Please fix your app

Great Program
So I recorded a 1 hour mental health counseling session. It recorded the entire session. This program gave great insight which was the same as the counselors. I was using a paid journal which basically does the same thing as this FREE program. Both ask about daily mindsets, able to write or dictate journal entries and both use AI for thoughtful insight. This program meets my expectations.
Questionable company practices
From the outside looking in, the company’s hiring pattern feels really lopsided. Every public-facing design or product role seems to go to men, and it gives the impression that women aren’t represented or prioritized in their team culture. Obviously people can decide for themselves, but the optics alone were enough for me to nope out. It’s 2025 and this kind of energy feels outdated
Way better than Apple Voice memos app
The AI transcripts are top notch and accurate with the AI notes and summaries capturing the gist of what was said accurately and to the point. Lists of action items are laid out in a very easy to read and digestible format. And the presence of AI chat makes things even better. Just want you guys to add a dark mode and some form of home screen / lock screen widget support so recording voice notes is seamless on the go.
Crash improvement
Every now and then it happens with the crash making impossible to touch everywhere in the app, it must be a bug that needs to be fixed. No response like breaking down
Did not give payment options to allow for free lifetime as offered
I used AppAdvice to get this program as offered a free lifetime. I was never given payments options and it came up as pro. Then you’re told to fill out a bug and choose the option…only the ‘failed payment option - no lifetime option’ shows! I will update this if I get a proper response to stop this charge and to delete. BE WARNED IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET THE FREE LIFETIME

Forgetful no more
No more trying to remember what happened, notes apps or notepads. This simply runs in the background and does it all for you. Summarizing things nicely by itself, and you can add more details if you like. Getting better with each update. Nice to have all the details you may have missed backed up.
