Easy to use
Great addition to my everyday workflow
Creates more work than it saves
The device itself is well designed and pretty impressive. The basic functionality is very helpful. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t allow you to do bulk reassignment of speakers. You have to physically go in and select every single speaker moment within the transcript. With long meetings and multiple speakers, this is a lot of frustrating work. So much so that quite often it’s more time to correct the transcripts than it is to just take notes. The second infuriating aspect of this device is it does not record phone calls unless you have them on speakerphone. With a job like mine that is impossible to do even the majority of the time. The limits to their free AI subscription are such that you’re pretty much forced to pay for an upgraded subscription. If this is something you use often. And their subscriptions are substantially more expensive than other products out there that do the things that this one doesn’t. And it takes forever to figure out or get a response on how to return the d**n device. And when it’s all set and done, they don’t want to refund you for the useless subscription that you’ve paid for. Choose the monthly not the annual or you just waste more money. Tons of future potential here but lacking at present and, as per usual in the world, nowadays, legally acceptable, unethical behavior in terms of returns and refunds, lack of human support, etc.
Exporting Files Issues
The app is great and so far working better than PLAUD, but when I go to export a file, the black export button is completely covered by the summarize button. Please fix!
Bugs
Great product when it works, however still very buggy. Bluetooth drops out regularly requiring reset. This means constant loss of notes and data captured. Support team non responsive (still nothing after 2 weeks). Recommend waiting until they get this fixed and hire support staff before purchasing.

Meeting notes are awesome great take aways every time 5 stars. Every day tasks reminders etc less on point. 3stars
Happy untill
Was very pleased with the device, until the new app update went through. Used to be able to edit the summaries and you can’t anymore, which makes it very hard to give copies out, especially when it’s wrong you can ask the chat to fix it, but it doesn’t format it correctly or often changes the whole thing

Total failure! Waste of money!
When I received my Fieldy I plugged it in to charge it. The light kept flashing a series of colors over and over. I left it for a few hours and it was still flashing all the colors. I thought it was taking an awfully long time to charge so I left it overnight. The next day it was still flashing! So I unplugged it and left it on the table. A few weeks later there were no more flashing lights, so I plugged it in again. Soon the light came on and was a steady white. So I carried it around for the day and saw that it recorded EVERYTHING! There is no power switch - at least one that works. So you can’t turn it off during times that you don’t want to record. Spooky. So I plugged it in so it would be charged and ready for the next day only for it to go back to the flashing multicolored lights again. I unplugged it and haven’t been able to use it again. The truly sickening thing is that I paid a lot of money not only for the device, but I also bought the pro plan because I had lots of training that i wanted to record so I could refer back to it. That’s a whale of a lot of money for one day of testing! Definitely not worth it. I want a refund of every penny I wasted on this useless piece of junk and the unusable « pro » plan. This deserves zero stars, but unfortunately one is as low as it will allow.
Getting my arms around it…
Capturing absolutely everything the list of topics is long to weed through, given I haven’t had the chance to use it in more of a business setting yet. I can definitely see how documenting all of my meetings and phone conversations is going to be a tremendous help!

This thing works EXCELLENT! Today was day one and it worked perfectly. And i have not even learned anything extra yet. Just pressed record, then went to a meeting and it recorded everything and put it down in the app then broke it down into a todo list and i know there is more that it can do! Thanks!
Not transparent on customs shipping- app mediocre. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Hopefully, I can reach some Canadians before they to get sucked in to this company with their app. Not only is the app glitchy and not consistent but when purchasing their AI tracker, they are quick to take your money, but they failed to show on checkout or your invoice that you will be charged an additional 50.00. Their response has gone silent. Very disappointed in app and the company. Buy soundcore! Better app, transparent and overall better experience. I switched immediately!
Reliable but not as searchable for details
I am actually loving this tool. Great to feel like you can dream up ideas and not have to pull out your phone and end up distracted, or interrupt a good conversation. It’s just not as easy to look things up. Mostly on the desktop, but the search feature could use some improvement.
Dandy
So far it’s pretty cool. But I’ve only had it for a day. However it’s really easy to keep on .. and it’s very obvious when it turns off. I have the necklace so far I like the fit it’s light. I haven’t yet seen my data but I’m going to see what it actually records and reveals and I’m pretty excited to see that.
Great idea, terrible app, bad customer support
When the product works, it works fantastic. There are often times multiple bugs in the app and the app only works about 10 to 20% of the time. I have reached out to Customer Support multiple times and they keep saying fixes are coming, but it never happens. I have also had many issues with the hardware and they did quite a bit of lying with their most recent product. I bought Fieldy too and loved the product so much that I immediately upgraded to field D3. They claimed that the battery would last 10 days and that the product worked better. The app functionality went downhill with the upgrade of the product and the battery only lasts about three days. I am currently looking at different solutions.
First week of use
As a medical administrator, I am reviewing the usefulness of this capturing all the daily nuances and bits of conversation that occur currently summary feels too late and superficial, but I am requesting detailed summaries and more detail on tasks and I believe that that is slowly evolving, will continue to use.
Production Genius
This devise has provided tremendous insight into my work with my production team. I baught one for me and one for my floor supervisor and it’s working great!
Don’t buy this service
Shady. Registered and didn’t realize the service I registered for was basically worthless. Unless you want to throw away good money after bad on this app, don’t buy their over priced device or service. It’s worthless without at least the $20 a month plan.
Provisionally 4 star, could be much better
Had this a few months now, and overall I would say it is a very useful thing to have if you discussed lots of things in different meetings and can sometimes struggle with keeping on top of various tasks and conversations. It does a remarkable job of accurately transcribing what has been said, and on a few occasions in just the last few weeks, I have asked the chat feature “what was said about X when I spoke to her yesterday, and what did we agree she would do?” and it was able to give me a written summary and transcript of what we had said and agreed. Having this in a ChatGPT, audio style would be useful as well as the ability to integrate the tasks it generates through something other than Google Tasks. This said, there is definitely a lot of scope for improvement of the app and of the experience. Having the ability to have different named speakers instead of showing every speaker apart from yourself as A, B, C etc would be very useful. Also, having it be more robust in terms of saying things like “that conversation about buying apples was with Jane”, the AI saying “okay I will refer to that conversation as being with Jane”, but not updating any transcript summary. Another useful feature would be to have lists of conversations grouped by speaker as well as date. Don’t get me wrong, I do love the product and think there is a great deal of potential if they can broaden out the experience a little more, have a native desktop app to access chat history, etc, but it is worth remembering that it is a relatively early beta stage product, and hopefully further improvements will come.
ADHD tool
I forget a lot. I have a lot to juggle with my own disability and then I parent a child with a disability as well. Fieldy helps me keep track of points made in therapy, it makes it so I have the bulletpoints of each conversation and I know exactly what I need to work on. It details goals I need to accomplish between appointments. Etc. I can also make lists and notes in real time without having to stop what I’m doing, find pen and paper, and then forget what I wanted to write down. I’m very thrilled so far. It’s also great for when you pray if you would like to look back and see how God has answered prayers for you.
Scam do not buy!
The add stated their was no extra substitutions but when you purchase and load up you have to buy subscription to use and only get 3 hrs ‘free’ I paid for device I should not then have to pay extra to use it!! So made I got scammed
Getting there…
The last few updates have shown remarkable improvement to the UI and usability of the app. Loving my compass RN. I find the automated tasks based on conversation very useful. I think the transcription needs some more work and the AI needs to be trained on foreign accents (Australian mainly because we talk strange).

I was really hesitant to buy ANOTHER recording device in the hopes it would understand what I said and actually be easy to use. Fieldy is IT!!! I LOVE IT. the transcription is spot on! I can easily copy the transcript and use it in Claude and ChatGPT or just sharing the raw conversation. I am so over the moon and it’s only day 1!!! It’s better than the other 4 I have and it’s light as a feather! I am obsessed!!!!!!
Free version with hardware purchase is a joke
I like the necklace but the free version isn’t enough for daily use. Just know that because you spend $120 on hardware that you need to at least pay the $15/ month to use it. ChatGPT is free on most mobile phones and can be utilized the same way without the monthly free.
Started using it right out of the box!!!
It was already at 67% when Received it. I used it for approximately 6 hours that’s first day, and it did an amazing job! It’s very impressive how well it works, how it picks up every part of the conversation, and how you can choose to have the information organized and presented to you. Great product, Fieldy!!’
Feature retraction
I purchased the original device when it was called Compass. I then purchased the next version to have offline storage but that feature was retracted. Unhappy now that after two k months after the release of version 2 there is now a version 3
