Don’t get this version.
Please don’t get this version of the game. Get the other one that isn’t on Apple Arcade. This one does not transfer all of your data and progress, but also doesn’t get all of the newest updates and DLC. It sucks terribly to have put so many hours into this game just to be at a standstill because they refuse to update this one or give any way to transfer data. SMH. So lazy. Save yourself the trouble.

Crashes and progress doesn’t transfer between devices
Progress doesn’t transfer between different devices with Apple Arcade. Consistently crashes in Gallo Tower around the 18 min mark (iPad 6th gen) - was hoping to get around that by playing on a newer iPhone, but alas progress is local to each device. Otherwise it’s been a very fun game.

Keeps crashing on mobile
I had lots of coins in a run, then game crashed and I didn't get my coins. I Had 12459 coins in the run and I now have 5473 coins because I didn't gain them.
Biggest drawback: task switching
The DLC situation notwithstanding, with a Bluetooth controller Vamp on iOS is very nearly the perfect game for long flights and the likes, save for one thing: the dice roll involved in task switching. So long as you don’t swipe out to do something else, you’re safe, but if you do, you run the risk of the OS (overly) aggressively culling your game in progress. Even if you switch away for a few seconds, iOS may decide that the continued existence of the app in the background cannot be tolerated and kills it, resulting in the current game being lost. I can’t imagine the state of a game currently in progress would be horrifically large (current position, items on the map, time, upgrades, and condition and position of a few hundred monsters). Having the app quickly save off a copy of all of that in the event of a task switch so recovery was possible would save a lot of heartache and make this the perfect mobile game.
Can’t login to account
I love this game but why does the Arcade + version not have the ability to login to my account to sync my progress?
Can you not transfer progress from free version to plus?
I basically have everything unlocked in the free version and decided to upgrade to plus, but I cannot seem to transfer my progression. Anyone know a fix?
Among us DLC
an among us DLC exists for the pc version of the game but the among us DLC isn’t even purchasable. A side from that on complaint this game really good for being free and I would still play it if it costed money.
Update problems…
New update has caused my save data to reset twice. I’ll be deleting the app until this is fixed. Lots of time spent, all lost.
Obsessed with 100 percent completion
Love this game wish I played it on my console though. Ever since I got sigma it crashes once i start whooping up getting close to the 10k kills. Please fix. You should let us transfer our game to console versions.

Ok so this game is great no hate but GET THE ORIGINAL PLEASE once you start this game you will thank me Reason no 1: I would say the biggest flaw is you don’t have access to all the dlcs which I hated I love this game so much that I didn’t mind paying for all them and even if you don’t like it no biggie you just don’t buy the dlc 2: ok I’m just gonna get this out of the way the free version does have ads BUT they are all optional and you can turn them off in the settings 3: you can’t open other apps while you have this game open we’ll technically you can h but it resets your project the free version does not have this problem 4: you can’t make a poncle account and save to other devices this is a big problem for me since I have a pc and I primarily play on that but you can’t make account and save it to other devices let’s say for kicks you had Apple Arcade on your pc (which I don’t think is possible but I might be wrong) even if you downloaded the same game you wouldn’t have them same progress even if you were logged in on the same Apple Store account So just don’t get this game get the free one
Fun & Addictive, But…
I love that this game can be played offline. It’s a satisfying combination of relaxing and tense gameplay. Unfortunately, I find it extremely annoying that it crashes frequently and I lose all of the progress that I made during that session when it does. If not for this, I would’ve given a solid five stars.

I’ve gotten really far into the game only to discover it is missing 2 of the dlc’s. In order to get them I would have to completely restart on the non Apple Arcade version and purchase the other dlcs.

Game won’t get past initial load up screen.
Fun but
Got 29:24 into a level, game swarmed me with mobs which caused it to lock up and I lost all those points/progress. This happened on iPhone 16 pro with airplane mode on. Crazy.
Falta DLC’s
O jogo é nota 1.000 mas sou obrigado a dar nota baixa, pois a Apple a tempos não atualiza o jogo. Esse jogo atualmente na época em que posto essa atualização, possui 5 dlc’s, mas só temos 1, a primeira delas disponível pra jogar. Isso é ridículo e um descaso com quem paga a plataforma.
No Account Settings!
Without any account settings, someone who started with plus has no way to transfer any data, and would have to start the game all over again.
Great game but I wish the other DLCs were here.
I love Vampire Survivors and I think the Mt. Moonspell, Lake Foscari and Ante Chamber DLCs are amazing. I get that copyright issues are why the Among Us, Castlevania and Contra DLCs aren't here but why isn't the Emerald Diorama DLC? Other than that Vampire Survivors is a great and addictive game, (I have it on my Nintendo Switch with all but the Contra DLC and both versions on my phone afterall.) but I do wish all the DLC was on Vampire Survivors+ (Or at least all the original ones with no crossovers.)
Great game flawed version
This is a terrible mobile game, if you need to pause the game to take a call or message someone you better be really quick because the game doesn’t stay in the background and will start your entire run over again. Seriously any phone game that works like this is less than useless. It sucks because this game is amazing and super addictive. Seriously this could be one of the best games on mobile if they fixed this one gigantic issue. This is a game you play on a phone you need to be able to use your phone and not have the game delete 20-30 minutes of progress because you had to take a call.

No delete account option
This is on Apple Arcade. It shouldn’t be load locking your data like it does. It’s a fun game but to be on Apple Arcade the flexibility to restart and delete should just be mandatory. I personally don’t put time in to games that load lock you.
I can’t stop myself
After like 75 something hours of playing this game and finally getting a character strong enough to one shot the final boss I’ve successfully not had my fill of this game. I can not stop myself from giving my character 30+ amount and it is hilarious. 10/10
CAN’T DISABLE APP REFRESH
Note to the developer: when your game is on iOS and play sessions can be over an hour, ALLOW THE PLAYER TO DISABLE APP REFRESH SO THEY DON’T LOSE ALL OF THEIR PROGRESS BY ANSWERING A TEXT!!!! It’s not rocket science. Learn about the systems you are releasing your game on, think about it for longer than 2 seconds, and then ensure that your game is not ruined by the very basic functions of that system.
No Poncle account sync
I live the game but I don’t really want to be starting from scratch on each device. I wish there was Poncle account sync from my Mac (where I bought this elsewhere) to my iPhone.

Apple Game Canter not syncing save data
I enjoy this game a lot, but started on my iPad. Launched the game on my iPhone and despite it showing me logged in with same Game Center profile, all of my saved items and progress did not transfer over. It shows in the FAQ that it is supposed to sync that data if they are both the Apple Arcade versions. Does this not work?

I love this game so much, I like trying to survive from creatures and every thing, but now all of a sudden when I get on the game it’s stuck on the loading screen, mind you I just got this today! Please fix this.

Why is dlc missing
I have arcade version. The + and no contra dlc or ode? I already own all of this is Xbox series x and didn’t wanna wait for the cross saves. I see those dlc are available in an add version of the game and I find that a little messed up
Steuerung schwammig
Die Touch-Steuerung ist leider sehr schwammig. In der Form kaum spielbar, da eine präzise Steuerung sehr wichtig ist.
Might as well call it a Lite edition
The core game presented here is a fantastic and amazing 70+ hour game and it is robbed of its incredibly well done and very well made DLC, especially the Castlevania and Contra packs for their obsessiveness to level detail and character inclusion. It is absolutely a waste of time to play this version without DLC support. You will have the best game experience you have had in decades but without the DLC, you probably won’t be as compelled to do it a second time. Buy the full game and DLC if you like this. There is so much more.

Decent. But No ending
It’s fun to play to help pass the time, but there is no real way for them to end it. The last guy shows up and you instantly die. Makes the game pointless to build up.

Very fun, but can’t really save mid-run, and missing some DLC
Don’t let the game cover art fool you—this is actually a great, fun, funny, game! If you like Castlevania games then you’ll love all the Easter eggs (and literal eggs) in the game. At this point I’ve probably played over 40 hours, and I still haven’t unlocked everything. PART of the reason for that is that the game is very unforgiving if you need to stop part way through. If you pause the game and switch apps or just put your phone down for a while, when you pick it back up your run is over, anything you unlocked during it doesn’t count, and you have to start over. This is very frustrating if you can only play for 10-15 minutes at a time; if you are interrupted you’re constantly on edge about keeping the game “awake” so you don’t lose progress. Most other games don’t work this way, I’m not sure why this one does. Lastly, I thought Arcade versions of games come with all the DLC, no in-app purchases, etc., but this game has a couple of DLC that are not included, and because it’s Arcade there’s no way to buy those DLC (I’d gladly pay for them at this point). So now my options are, start over from scratch on the non-Arcade version, or just don’t play the DLC. Disappointing either way.
