Picrew
I would definitely recommend Picrew it’s very relaxing and it’s a very fun game to play download Picrew now
used to be fun, now i cant get the update notif off my screen
ive tried everything. all of the tricks. not matter how hard i try, the close button to the notif is stuck under the screen and i cant click it. it covers everything and makes me unable to use any picrews.
Why so many adds
There a lot of adds and it’s hard to find good templates if you don’t have Pinterest but boy this app is good if you ever have no idea where to start when making an oc
GET RID OF THE ADS!!
so, i’m minding my own business and making some random pictures of me and my crush THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I CLICK OFF FOR A MESSAGE AND AS SOON AS I COME BACK “ad” everytime i click off the app i get an add!! please remove this 😖
Too many ads but good otherwise
Like just give me one ad and be done instead of all these pop ups and minute long videos. It’s so unnecessary to have this many ads
Fine
Ok
/used/ it for years
Emphasis on used. I'll never go back on this app, thanks （ ＾ν＾）
Picrew rating
You can make so many Oc on it! It’s really cool, but down side is ads… every time you click on one you get an ad.
Web version is better
The app version is advertised as a better way to use picrew, but it is no better than the website my any means. It runs slower, is filled with adverts and doesn’t offer any new features that make it stand out. Using the website is much more bearable, to the point where the app is pointless.
Usually fun; kinda bummed
Whenever I try to launch the app, it makes me agree to some terms. That part is fine, the problem is that I don’t get the option to proceed after I agree to them.
LOVE
I love this game so much it’s like so fun. It’s the perfect game to do when you’re bored.
used to be great
it was great when it was just a website. but the app? its… pretty bad. theres audio ads while you create that you cant mute so you need to turn your volume all the way down and its annoying. popup ads are everywhere and i couldnt even get into the app without encountering tons of unskippable ads. on top of that, it kicks me out every single time. unless i use it daily, i need to sign in every single time. just use the website honestly
A good game of creativity, but could be a better experience
I had used this app for my characters, and I enjoy the sight of seeing everyone’s different art style, however, that isn’t an issue of mine- it’s the amount of ads, and an issue I’ve been having for a long while. I’m unfamiliar if anyone has had this issue as well, but I would be creating a character, and all of sudden, I get kicked out of the app, it also happens a lot with the ads- I get an ad, few minutes later I get kicked, it just makes me more annoyed than anything, since I’ve had to search for the content repeatedly and then get hit with a ad again- worried about the possibility of repetition. I apologize for the long paragraph, but this has been happening for a long while and wish for this to get fixed or adjusted at some point, overall, great game.
too many ads
i LOVE picrew and i love that it platforms REAL artists and gives them a place for people to interact with their art. i’ve been using picrew for years and i’ve always thought the amount of ads is annoying but doable for the most part. one upon opening the app, one before i use a maker, no big deal. i went on tonight to make some of my ocs for visualization purposes and i got EIGHT ads trying to finish ONE picrew. EIGHT! the app made my phone so hot it was like it’d been out in the sun with me for hours. absolutely absurd amount of ads to have for one maker and i’m sure it’s just to try and push people toward the subscription model but it’s going to do nothing but put me off of using picrew further because i should not have to pay for an app for it to be usable. extremely disappointed in this most recent update/choice from picrew.
its pretty good
i love the app but it has way too many ads.
Love its
Only one problem adds
They dont care
I love Picrew but the sheer amount of ads messing with music, glitching do you can’t close them, popping up before, during, and after you try and make one, the ads cover up the options and it isn’t a one time fee it’s a subscription. They don’t care about us or how much we like the app it’s really sad cuz my sister, husband and I all use it and we’ve pretty much haven’t been able to these past few months. Maybe we’ll redownload when they fix it but considering I’ve been here since before they made an app I highly doubt they’ll fix it. It’s genuinely sad to see such a great app in ruin. If there’s any other app like this without all the bs can someone let me know? I’d love to give an app that actually cares about its player base my money.
:P
Love it, but it crashes often
Issue
I could not get past the terms of agreement screen.
great but
the amount of ads is borderline invasive, pop up, banner AND audio ads !?
There may be nothing quite like Picrew
I’ve never had such freedom and creativity just being able to create whatever I wanted, I do wish there were more Hair and Outfit options like Leather Jackets and longer hair but I’m satisfied
horrible small ads that automatically play audio
really horrible pop-up ads that play audio and don’t let you mute them. it really ruins everything. i don’t mind banner ads but these audio ads are HORRIFICALLY intrusive. don’t bother downloading this app just use the website.
nice!
good for creating oc’s and other things! lots of different ones to choose from. although there are a bit too many ads for my taste, it’s Ok.
Very buggy, lack of variety.
I love to create characters and support the artists of each image maker, but the app crashes every few minutes and kicks me out. I feel it’s a combination of the excess of ads and a poor interface. It’s prone to extreme lag, and searching for new image makers or ones I haven’t used before is difficult. The same image makers are recommended over and over on the home page.
ads
genuinely insufferable amount of ads every time you click on of off anything
Really Great!!
I think Picrew is just amazing!! Sometimes i need help with making my Oc's and Picrew helps a lot with it!! Also finally it's an app that doesn't use AI!! Really great I recommend using Picrew :3
annoying overall
if you try to go through the website it always kicks you off and takes you to the app store. then the app is full of ads and sometimes i can’t even close out of them and have to close the app and lose my progress on an image maker.
Really good game for tons of really good communities!
I love the games on here it’s so fun just dressing up the characters and seeing what they become I recommend this to the alt, lgbt, disabled community, and etc. it’s good for car rides, art inspiration, clothing inspiration, and OC’s for stories have fun playing my fellow humans (*^ω^*)☆
fun but amount of ads is suffocating
maybe the most fun platform for a character creator, the amount of ads on here makes it almost unusable. from some that stop everything, to ones that play audio, to ones that even pop up without any knowledge redirecting you to a sketch google (or google maps link…) page makes picrew not worth playing anymore and would rather use another alternative to the site. the fact that you have to pay for the removal of ads when before this was never a problem is plain greedy. this is a dress up game app.
so many ads
it's a really good app but recently every time i open it i get an ad that i cant even get rid of once it's finished, meaning i cant use the app.
The best
There body’s and shape can be changed how you like a profile to be and with any outfit that can be changed there is nomlimits of what you make it’s amazing.
The best place for ocs!, but OH my god there’s to many adds
This is by far the best character/OC/profile picture creator out there. It has so many different options with so many different art styles made by real talented artist artists I highly recommend it to everybody, however, this app, especially lately has far too many ads. Seemingly every single time I click to a new page. I clicked to a new Picrew. I searched something. Any time I do anything except for when I am making the actual character there is an ad no matter what. Not to mention 90% of the ads are not very good. They are garbage brain rot game ads. Or they are for websites like Temu and Shein and we all know how bad Temu and Shein is. I understand that they need to have ads on the platform to be able to make money to keep running it however, the sheer amount of ads that they have on their platform makes it seem like a giant money scheme to just make as much money as humanly possible. they also constantly push the oh you can just pay to get rid of ads. Well not everyone has the financial ability to buy to get rid of ads nor would people want to. The sheer amount of ads is probably driving people away from the platform and looking for other characters creators somewhere else, as I know, I have done so myself. I will look online for a character creator before I ever even go to Picrew anymore to simply avoid the annoying and frustrating time It is that every single time I click on something I have to leave the app to respond to a message to text someone I do anything except for actually make an OC an ad play that isn’t even an enjoyable at experience. I am sure that if you download this app, you will have the greatest time but I can’t give it more than one stars simply because I am constantly frustrated while just trying to quickly make a character so I can get back to writing something or I’m quickly making a character because my players in my DND campaign suddenly decide that this NPC is gonna be their best friend.
too many ads
i love this app!! but everytime i wanna use one of the picrews there's an ad. like i understand apps need ads for money but it's like TOO many.
Bugs.
The system bugs make it really hard to log in/sign in and I'm still unable to do either... I was sad cuz this seems like a good app other than that.
Uh read?
It’s a cool game but scared it gonna steal my info
amazing
You can find anything on this app and it fun
Too many ads
It gets pretty ridiculous how many ads are on this.. it makes me not want to ever play again
Ads
Too many ads
I’m Sure it’s great, but…
Whenever I tried to use it, all I got was “403: page does not exist”. Every time. I redownloaded it multiple times. Didn’t work. Closed the app. Didn’t work.
Love it, but…
Picrew has always been a life saver for making OCs, and it helps with creativity. But there are just way too many ads. Everywhere I look there is an ad, and there’s even audio ads! I listen to music while I make OCs, and I often can’t cause the ads keep pausing my music!
Good
Good for mi ocs
Repeating pop up
The same annoying pop up keeps happening that says “no in app purchases information available” or something like that, I’m not even trying to purchase anything but it’s the same notification over and over, I can’t even get to the actual app to use it because I click okay and it just comes back immediately
It’s great I guess
I like it it’s just the ads sometimes don’t have a x button so yea
Unable to get out of the main menu
Okay so, there’s a thing where it’s saying you have to read guidelines and stuff and you can’t even get out of it. I’ve tried multiple times and there’s no X or a way to get out
Why.
This app is almost amazing. There are so many options and when you think that you’ve run out there’s more. But the issue is there are ads literally every five minutes I’m not even exaggerating on that. Listen I understand giving you an ad when you click off of something but adds while you are like creating stuff is insane and I understand like you need the money but like seriously
Awesome app just one little complaint
Look, don't get me wrong I LOVE this app and use it for OCS all the time or outfit ideas for them but THE ADS like an overwhelming amount of them. Every time you exit a pitcrew, ad, change sections a few times? Ad, and exit the app once? Ad. I'm begging for a change here
No offense but it isn’t that good.
So basically, I used this for a pngtuber model but the options were kinda limited so I didn’t know what to work with.
Please fix your crashing problem
I love this game but the crashes are annoying bro 🥀
Some problems
I love picrew’s huge help for diverse character creation when I don’t feel like drawing. However, my app lags and crashes very frequently. I also feel that if you do not subscribe to a premium plan, the amount of ads is ridiculously high and far too unenjoyable. Otherwise my rating would be higher
A plethora of ads
I really enjoy Picrew but unfortunately, every time I leave the app and come back in there’s an ad so I can’t multitask while making my characters.
