Fun to play, always updating to keep it interesting. I have had multiple games that I have won and paid for lives on weekend brawls end and then I get pegged with the loss. Keep improving those bugs please and thanks ! Keep your stick on the ice
Lost all my progress
So I’m enjoying the game for over a week. Then boom. I log in it asks me my age and all my progress is gone. Kind of a shame. I don’t know if anyone else had this issue but I’m bummed. Probably don’t have it in me to try again.

Wouldn’t call it great for several reasons it lags and freezes a sec kicks me out of the app and just in general the bug fixes aren’t working
Great Game/Amazing suppor
I’ve been playing this game for a little bit now and it’s became my favorite mobile game out there. I recently lost my account and contacted support and they were able to get my account back. I was honestly surprised they even got back to me and how quickly they were on top of it. You can tell they really care about there community and they are always putting new events updates and content out and the game has a really unique play style to it but most importantly NOT PAY TO WIN. This game doesn’t feel like after a little your handicapped and you have to spend money you can just play and have fun and it be fair, fun, competitive. Thank you Pocket Hockey Stars Dev and support team for making a great game, being involved in the community, and giving us fun on our downtime. Definitely recommend this game if you like quick competitive matches that are fair and FUNNN!!!!

Ranked System
I absolutely love this game, but I think one of the largest issues is the ranked system. I find it way too easy to beat my opponents even up into platinum, which is the highest rank I’ve gotten. I could get a much higher rank, I just don’t have time. I usually beat my opponents 10-0, maybe a few less points on my end. It’s fun for a while but then it gets boring. I think there should be some system that tracks how many points you’re getting per game and adds mmr/ranking points so you can progress quicker if you are in too low of a rank. Otherwise, I am thoroughly enjoying this game!
Super fun game, horrible app
This game rocks. It’s so fun and addicting. The actual quality of the app is abysmal. The game crashes constantly, quests don’t update when you complete the requisite tasks, I even purchased the stupid offer and none of the coins/packs from it came through. I’d love to play this game more but the app makes it impossible to enjoy.
Crashes
The game is fun but it crashes and makes you lose cups all the time so that makes it pretty hard to progress and seems like it’s hard to get and money to buy any players or gear without paying actual money. And it seems like it’s just as easy to score with a new team not upgraded as with a team that is upgraded… unless you pay money to really upgrade your team

New player and they keep stacking you against higher ranked guys with fast characters so you can never rank up and have to spend money to compete. Pay to win, dont bother with the game

Fun but

Fun game! But..
It’s a fun game, with cool powers and ways to upgrade the players, shooting feels really good. The names are quirky, checking feels good, and there are ways for skill expression. The star system is cool, rewarding good play, and I like the way fights were incorporated. I’m enjoying the base system that’s here. I do have some issues. The first one is related to the monetization. The ads are very frequent, and some are quite long. That wouldn’t be a problem on its own, there’s an option to buy the ads away… $25 CAD is way too steep just to stop seeing ads in my opinion. Not to mention that there are free things you can get by watching ads and plenty of micro transactions already, making me pay that much just to stop seeing ads after games feels like overkill. My next issue is lesser, but I still wanted to bring it up. I used 100 of my coins to play in an event, which is 20 wins for the biggest prize. Most steps (each win) is 100xp (for 100 coins you can get 1500xp in the shop by the way) I won 2 games for 200 xp then get matched with someone who’s players are double the power to mine and I get wiped. You can buy more lives with coins, but the second life instead of 100 coins is now 500 coins. I am not going to fall for the same trick twice for more than double the cost. The event did not feel fair in the slightest, I used my coins to get 14% of the shop offer- then immediately matched up against a team I had a tiny sliver of a chance to win against on the 3rd step of a 20 win ladder, then to buy back in you need to pay up (seemingly) exponentially. Feels like it links back into monetization which encourages you to pay more.

Matchmaking is terrible
It doesn’t make any sense to match up against players who pay to win and are 2-4 leagues above you, a 500 player shouldn’t have to play against a 2k-3k player. Absolute lazy matchmaking system.

Fun idea but nowhere near functional. Wide open net and puck will stop right before going in, crashes routinely

Cheaply made, cheaply produced; immense potential, falls flat on its face.
Game genuinely is built to make you upset. I had a lot of hope first playing this. Played about 50 games before I decided it’s genuinely a cash-grab, hoping you’ll pay for upgrade packs once you lose enough. I went 35-15, every single winning streak was of course cut short. Some opponents will be “skilled” much higher, better players, more trophies. Goalies simply will just fly out of the goal, the AI on the skaters is god awful. There’s no real lineup building, you’re essentially stuck with the first line the game gives you unless you spend money. Every single “online match” is AI. Nothing is genuinely a real player vs. a real player. Explain to me how the game runs smooth in 60 FPS, but the menus are essentially 10? Zero response time on the main menus, game came straight from 2009. It has so much potential, yet cut way too many corners. Never offer a paid battle pass (star pass), in a game where the menus can’t even support 60 FPS on an iPhone 17 Pro Max, in the year 2026. Frustratedly writing this just because of how much potential this really has. Stop being lazy!

Great game/horrible pay structure
This is one of the funner games I have played, however, they did an update and now you have to pay an arm and leg to play the game. You can’t even watch free ads to play the game because you have to watch like five ads to play, just one game.

This game is amazing, especially if you’re looking for a good arcade style hockey game that honestly doesn’t have that many ads, and finding good mobile hockey games is hard so I.really recommend this game—it’s like an arcade style better version of HUT
Unfair matchmaking
I just downloaded the game and i have under 100 trophies and im play 1000+ trophies and its impossible to win. Also the having to change players on defense is too much, make it so youre playing as the defender closest to the person with the puck because its so hard to constantly pay attention to who your playing as.
Fix the bug
I love the game but the reason why it’s not 5 stars is because when ever I shoot the puck in the opponents goal I can see the puck going in and the goalie didn’t save it and it just stays there when it should go in the big is sometimes the reason why I be loosing

Fun game but when the other player can stop a break away/ control the game with hitting players without the puck ruins it Edit: I’ve bought a couple gear boxes and instead of gear I got uncommon pack bruh
Match Wont Connect
Starting yesterday, i havent been able to play any games. The game will say match found, and then it keeps doing the "uh oh lets pretend this didnt happen". This has happened at least 10 times in different event types. Really disappointing, because I really enjoy the game when I can actually play it

So cool that the developer answers everyone and listens to his market. This game rocks and once the bugs and glitches get fixed this should skyrocket for everyone. I wish there was a campaign mode or season mode to earn coins and XP as well

Pretty good but the lag is so bad you need to stop playing. Fun but for it be something to play a lot they need to optimize. As a game dev I know optimization is hard but it’s necessary, I’m at full bars running 5FPS with a fairly new phone!

Amazing potential; poor quality
This game has the potential to be the best hockey app in the store. The gameplay is great and the use of recognizable players is fun. But. The. Bugs. There is always something wrong with the game. The devs just patched an issue where nearly every other match you entered would freeze your game. Currently the seasonal star pass has not reset even though a new season started days ago. It's just a combination of small issues that pile on top of each other to ruin the experience.

It’s a great game. Very entertaining, and very enjoyable. One of the best 3v3 games I personally have ever played, but that’s where it can get buggy sometimes. It usually only happens when it says match found waiting for opponent or sometimes at like the first 10 or 15 seconds of the game. Anyway it’s still a great game and amazing details so just keep up the great work.👍🏽
Not fun
The buttons feel super janky and you dont have time to line anything up, pathetic waste of time, only thing that saves it is the fact that it is hockey
Improvements
Game is definitely pretty fun and has potential. Something that would make it better would be if there were more game modes where you could earn coins faster. Seems like it takes too long to actually make your team better and more fun. Once you go through all the rankings and get rewards and finish the season, it’s almost impossible to get better besides watching ads for coins; and even then you can only get a max of 120 a day. It would be a lot more fun if there was either another continuous way to earn coins or ways that you could earn packs and gear by grinding the game. There is the weekend knock out but that’s every 7 days. There’s no real reason to play vs players anymore once you’ve done all the challenges.
