I like the idea of the game but I felt like is is nowhere close to as good as retro bowl is first I noticed that some of the jerseys are the same I don’t really like that I want more unique teams also there should be a stadium for every team maybe even a option to make your own stadium Another problem WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR SIMULATION OF THE FULL GAME I am pretty sure that most games like this give you the option to simulate games well that is my recommendations never mind this game is even more garbage than first I only played 19 games. It was 20-3 next batting is so inconsistent so inconsistent some balls are called. Strikes and strikes are called balls. One time I got a pinch it was called strike and later this means I saw the same pitchit was called a ball at one point I wanna game 6-1and then I got stuck at the level up part are heard that bugs like this happening in the reviews, but I don’t think it would happened to me so i exited of out the game and then restarted the game and i lost3-0 I have wrote this two different times, but I push her. I exceeded the maximum links so then it restart it so next thing fix the fiedler their dumb then need to actually try

I never write reviews but this game is awesome! I love this game so much that I bought the premium version. I just wish we could play as our defensive guys or as pitcher maybe we could select pitch types etc. the only reason why I didn’t give this game 5 stars is the bugs, now some of them aren’t too bad but for a long while for me my draft pick would glitch out midway through the draft. Overall this game is awesome!!!
Bad bugs but fine game
The overall game is fine, but the bugs need to be fixed. The pitcher will throw the ball and then it will disappear and they will throw it again, with you having no chance to hit it. And please fix the bug where if you hit a home run it sometimes calls it an out. Fine game but needed updates on the bugs.
I like it, but BUGGY!!
I actually enjoy this game quite a bit. It has just enough action to keep you involved during quick breaks, but has aspects that let it stick around and be a game you want to keep coming back to. It is in one hand simple, but has enough complexity to keep it interesting. The problem is every single piece of this game bugs out. In roster building you will make selections to find the best mix of players/attributes/skills, only to come back to everything in a different place. You will go to make trades, make your selection, and find out it actually took something/someone completely different, with no indication to the contrary. You will draft and cut players, and then come back to find you only have one of your 3 draft selections and other players werent actually cut. And this is not even including actual gameplay. Hits will become foul balls randomly, defenders will lock up or just hold the ball and you can run all the bases freely. If it ever touches the top of the outfield wall, its a ground-rule double. I eventually got tired of dealing with it all. If the developer can clean up the bugs, itd be a great little game. Severely needs an update….
Best baseball game ever
This is by far the most detailed baseball game on the phone I’ve ever played. So much detail and so much fun.
Still Buggy…really?
I saw all the ratings but thought that there was no way that after an entire year they wouldn’t have solved them. Well, I was wrong. Don’t waste your time.
Ratings and uniforms
This game is great for a baseball mobile game, especially one that mirrors retro bowl which is one that I like myself. However, what would be nice is if the rating system of the players could be from 50-99 instead of trying to be unique with the 30-80, it’s just more confusing with the 30/80 scale and most gamers would already understand if it was the 50-99 scale like most console and leading sports games. Second off, please give us some sort of premium or privilege or just consistently update the uniform combos, because for example, why do the padres have a yellow uniform when they don’t have one in real life, same thing with the twins and red? where are the uniforms that mirror city connect? And the pants aren’t matching up with the jerseys like IRL. I think if you clean up on those aspects then the game would be even better

5/5 but with a major caveat
This game already is great and has AMAZING potential. I stopped following baseball over a decade ago, but quickly got addicted to managing my roster, contracts, and salary cap. You just need to be aware this game is a passion project from a single developer and this game has bugs that can cause you to loose Bytes (earned or payed for) if you run into an errror or soft lock after spending them. I was initially was going to submit this review as a 3/5 or 4/5 because of the bugs but I messaged the developer about an issue on a Sunday and heard back right away with a genuine and engaged response and update. That bring this back to a 5/5 game, as long as you know what you are getting into supporting this passion project at this stage
Worst game ever

It is a great game and it a lot of fun to play very easy to learn but there is a issue when the opposing pitcher throws the ball it will glitch go back to the pitcher and then go back to the catcher and in like 3 seconds and it is impossible to hit the ball when that happens but other then that it is a great game and it is a lot of fun
Bugs Detract from Great Game
I liked the game at first, but then the fielding made the game way too easy. Pitchers would run away from the ball. Wild throws were simply ignored, allowing for inside the park home runs, etc. Then the game started glitching. One of my guys ran from 2nd to home to score. Pitchers would throw multiple pitches at a time, instantly striking me out. The killer was that I would literally never get the bits (in-game currency) I earned, and the bonuses seemingly vanished, so my progression stopped entirely. I also never answered a player question correctly for ten weeks straight—an improbable statistical feat. The simplistic gameplay became very boring very quickly, and I’d either face super teams that shut me out while running up the score or teams that could neither field nor bat. Stat tracking became dubious at best. How am I 22nd in the league in offense when most teams will never exceed 10 runs, yet I am hitting more homers than most teams have total hits? How is the division leader playing more total games than me when the game seems to run week by week? You can pay a small one-time transaction to do sim, but I don’t get how the primary mode is supposed to be “don’t play the sport the game is based on.” It’s just a buggy mess that could be way better than it is.
Fun gameplay poor UI and bugs
I love playing the game reminds me of other successful 8-bit games. But lots of bugs and lack of features. I really think base running needs to be revamped. I have no clue what my guys are doing and why they won’t run or run backwards. It rarely works as intended and is overall confusing. In close games losing multiple outs because of poor base running out of my control is frustrating. Also defense specifically in the infield needs drastic improvement too many time a rolling grounder is safe. I love the gameplay outside of these issues but really holds me back from playing again.

Very fun, simple and addicting
I love this game a lot, i got it before a 6hr flight and played it the whole time haha, and have kept playing it. 3 seasons in, won the world series each time on normal. Leveling up and trading players is fun along with the post season off season trading. Only thing is I cant play anymore because the game is stuck on my 3rd world series which I have won the same game 3 times in a row, after winning it just brings me back like I never played it. But its a single developer and it seems like he is on top of bug fixes as they happen. 100% recommended downloading Nd trying this game out!

I’ve been playing on the hardest difficulty and sometimes the pitch is thrown and it’s called a strike but I have swung at those pitches 100+ times and I haven’t been able to hit it so it’s frustrating it’s a strike when I know I can’t hit it and the game is buggy and sometimes annoying

Great game just buggy
I’m having a lot of fun playing the game but I might have to restart my first save due to the fact that there is a bug that is not allowing me to play the game at all, it’s showing players from a different completely different team and I can’t start the game. I know one just happened but I would really appreciate another update! Love the game though
I wish I could give this 5 stars
I had such a blast playing a season of this game! I started developing stars, drafting studs, and trading what I could. Yeah the game is a little buggy and had some cheesy glitches, but overall kept chugging along without too much disruption. Then after finishing the last game of my second season, the game got stuck trying to level up a maxxed out player. Because he was max level I couldn’t level him up any more, but I couldn’t continue. Nothing worked and I had to close the game. I have since replayed that last game 3 times to the same outcome. I will forever be stuck there. There is so much potential for this game hampered by the absolute worst bugs I have ever seen.
Really fun, but please fix new glitch
I really enjoy this game. However, the new update has caused an issue where the “continue” button at the end of games stopped working. I can’t move on to the next game.

The greatest game I have ever played today! All kidding aside, this is a game in development that a baseball purist will love. Don’t worry about other critiques. The arbitrator isn’t always right. I know HOFer Smolts would agree with me. This game is absolutely worthy of a download. You will enjoy playing this game, trust me.
Freezing bug
I need help, I’m in game 20 of the season I’m too broke for premium to sim, so what happens every time I play game 20 my game will end and will be stuck at the screen and I will need to restart and my prgress will not save how do I fix this??? Please I really like this game. And this kinda makes me mess the groove up and wanna stop and play something else but I wanna play this!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Kind of good
I definitely like the game, but the strike zone isn’t very good and you should have the ability to hit some of the balls. Half the time it’s impossible to tell where the pitch is.

This was a game that received a lot of hype and it did not even come close to living up to it. Awful gameplay mechanics where your bat just goes through the ball. Cant even play defense so your pitching gives up 15 runs an inning. Just very bad and not fun
Great game, just 1 problem
I love this game for the team building. Just a couple bugs. One, late in the franchise, sometimes players will randomly change their age. That 21 year old rookie last year is now a 32 year old player the next year. The only other bug is that, I bought premium a while back, but now when I go to the store, there’s no way to restore my purchase. I’d like to sim my games, but it tells me I can’t. And when I go to the store to purchase premium which I already bought, it gives me an error. Something like ‘purchase failed duplicate transaction purchase has been confirmed.’ Other than that I love this game.

This game is soo good but the bugs are very obvious. I would give 5 stars if it wouldn’t automatically mark a strikeout on a player that just got one strike after the previous inning strikeout!
Decent
Hitting in normal mode is slightly difficult. Just timing really. Some basic rules haven’t been input in the game (tagging on a caught fly ball, fair balls past the bases going into foul territory then being called foul), and I wish you could send one runner at a time rather than everyone on the base paths. There’s also a glitch when hitting when the ball is just about to be in hitting range, then glitches back to the pitcher and is released with double the speed. Very frustrating when it’s a ball you’re swinging at because you don’t get credit for the hit ball, just a strike.
Please do more updates
This game is very fun I love the mechanics just wish I could pick which runner to go instead of everyone and there’s a glitch where if I send both runners to steal bases one stays and other runner disappears I would love to see weather added and other little cool additions that could be added to the game even adding special effects when you hit home runs like break glass on the new maps or fireworks go off besides all that the game is great and can’t wait for future updates
Not great yet
I like the idea of this and game play but I bought the upgraded version and bought bytes to upgrade my team. Played a view games, bought some new players, upgraded some new players. Minimized my screen to see who texted me, came back to everything reset and the irl money I spent on the game completely gone like I never bought bytes. Pretty annoyed right now. So that is a huge issue. Plus the fact you can only bat, defense is completely sim. I super annoyed about the 5 bucks I wasted though.
Love it but one thing
I really like this game im addicted but when I finish a season the players I had the prior year gets replaced by lower overall and no I don’t let them walk in free agency when I’m done with the draft there gone. Also when I trade my draft picks there gone right but when I trade for other teams picks they don’t appear in all I really like this game but few minor issues fixed can make this others and mine favorite game!
Bug Filled
The game would be fun if it was not completely bug filled. Cannot advance another year after the season has ended.
Almost great
When this game works it’s among the best mobile games of any kind I’ve ever encountered. However the number of completely game breaking bugs is entirely out of hand. I’ve been locked out of three different save files this week, they’re still there you just can’t open them. You can spend real money to get your team back up to speed after you get booted and then immediately be locked out of your new save files. Custom character names are frequently deleted or reverted back to their defaults, character appearances and stats will change randomly between games, options will go inactive. It’s just not yet a functional piece of software which is too bad because it has so much going for it. I hope to be able to return one day and give this the 5 stars I can see that it could earn.
Unfinished game
Nice idea, game is not completed though. Biggest bug for me is that I cannot progress passed 2nd season on any save file.
Draft bug
This bug has been a problem for a year now and I was hoping yall would fix it with the last three updates(but you didn’t) but after about three years in each league once you go into the draft you try to make a pick and it freezes the game… I would love my money back since yall don’t care about this game.

I really believe that if the devs stick with it, and put all their time and effort into fixing the bugs- because there are an outrageous and endless amount (the most frustrating of which is that I can’t win the championship because no matter what the game declares Baltimore the winner) then this could be a great game, it’s just by far the buggiest game I’ve played in my life
Promising with many flaws
I want to love this game but I just cannot in the current state. Let me break it down into the good, okay, and bad. Good: -Core gameplay is really simple and addictive. Timing based hitting is perfect for the mobile format. -Franchise mode is great and I love the team building components. Okay: -The GM team and stadium management doesn’t seem to have much impact. -The sound is okay, I usually just play with it off. Bad: -The defense and throwing is really really bad and buggy. You can easily score extra runs by poor throwing decisions. -Statistics are incorrectly counted including hits, strikes, and outs. Defense and stat counting needs to be totally reworked by the dev. If I can make a suggestion about defense to the developer, just divide the base paths into zones. Anywhere around the base should be considered safe by the defense and not warrant a throw. Anywhere in between is far game. Supplement that with logic that applies to scenario. Every pro baseball knows where they are throwing the ball before it ever enters play. As an example, a runner is on second and there is a ground ball to the second baseman, he knows to throw I to first because that is a force out. He should not throw it to third trying to get a tag on the lead runner. Another smaller suggestion, OF should only hit the cutoff if they are fielding the ball deep in the outfield. It’s too easy for players to be safe when the outfielder throws it further away just to hit the cutoff instead of directly to the base. I really like this and will keep it installed. If the dev can fix those issue, I’m happy to pay for it. I just can’t justify continuing to play and pay for something that is frankly broken.
Just give us something to aim

Fun but has glitches
It’s a really fun baseball game, similar to Retro bowl. But what’s holding it back is that are a lot of bugs that you’ll stumble into. Also the defensive logic isn’t the best either.
Could be good
Very buggy, limited franchise controls, a lot of numbers seem made up, and the on the field play is really wonky. If this somehow becomes the RetroBowl of baseball it would be cool, but it has a ways to go yet.
Fun game but very buggy
Have had a blast with actual play, but I spent 2.99 for the premium version, and you don’t even get any of the perks. Not worth it imo. Also, after I draft my first player each save the screen goes blank. Can’t even go past one season per save.
