The game is fun, but the developers will slow down your players and make them far less accurate inorder to make you lose

This is by FAR, the single best hockey game in the App Store, BUT there are way too many ads. The game play would be a lot more fun if I didn’t need to close my game every time I finish game just to skip an ad
More frustrating the longer you play
It feels like a neat game at first until you realize your AI players are designed to screw you over The game purposely makes you lose, it won’t switch players when you need it to and it feels like it’s impossible to win certain games I’ll literally win 10-1 one game then can’t get a shot off in the next, bc my AI teammates are always in the wrong place
Good game but ads after the game lead me to decide to move on
Good game. Play frequently but the ad right after the game is so long that I don’t wait around to play a second game. They are stopping increased time on the app and more engagement by doing that. I am sure I am not the only one who feels this way. It is not the case with other game apps.

I don’t want to get into detail but in 2035 ai takes over the world starting in the iPhone. Games like this are used to take over peoples brains and slowly collect data to form intellectual beings in order to imperialize the globe. I’m am warning you now and I suggest you listen because this is the last you will hear of me

This game is overall a good and fun game. But when the stupid ai that has no idea what it’s doing takes over, it makes me lose games. There should be no reason your ai forces you to shoot. This mechanic has made me lose so many games. Also, the ai should not take over on the defensive when you are in control. That is utterly stupid. Good game overall but holy this is ragebait
Too many ads
The game play is awesome. I like the f2p concept of watching ads, I understand the developers made a game to get money. I’m not hating on that. The game used to make ads optional, by asking you, do you want to watch an ad to get in game resources? If you said yes, then you sit through the ad. But now, after you play a game it asks you that, but if you say no, it gives you an ad anyway. Which I then close the game to and restart it. It’s annoying, when you have limited time and want to get as many games in as possible

Should be a fun game, but the app is horribly constructed. Endless loop of finding an ad that prevents you from playing. The gameplay also leaves a lot to be desired. Pick often is not passed to the player I want it to

Fun game, horrible ads
This is a fun simple hockey game with intuitive controls and good progression. However the game has way too many of the obtrusive, long ads that make you X out of them like 3 separate times, you know the type. I have no problem with ad driven games, but this has way too many, way too long, ads.

It’s a good game in general but the controls need working on. If you body check you immediately lose control of that player so can’t get the puck efficiently. It’s also really hard to swap players on defense, you can’t cross crease easily because it thinks you’re trying to shoot, and the ADS I understand you gotta make money because it’s a free game but there are adds every single game
Good game but some mechanics are missing
I think it’s a good game overall for quick and simple fun, but it would benefit from having more realistic mechanics, like offsides, goalie interference, penalties for hitting from behind, the possibility to remove your goalie if you’re trailing by one goal in the least seconds of the 3rd period, etc.
Don’t waste your time
This game is really bad. I understand the retro feel and even admire it but the bottom line is you don’t play humans. Everything is ai. When the ai wants to win, you can’t do anything about it. What’s worse is you face teams that are so impossibly overpowered. Nobody at that level would have players with ratings over 100 and levels that high. The first few levels are fun and then it gets out of hand

Every time I move the stick around I end up swiping on the Home Screen and the game closes other then that it’s a good game

The game is great. What is the red dot on some of my players. You cant click on it. They are all maxed out. Just asking

What a BS game! You are constantly 1-2 against 5 on offense, yet the AI somehow still gets tons of 3 on 0 rushes. They check you they get the puck. You check them umpteen times, guess what they still keep the puck! And then your players skates away giving them an open lane. Indeed, your players stand there without moving or skate AWAY from the puck to give the AI a goal or simply just disappear. Clearly nothing more than a money grab with no resemblance to how hockey is actually played. APP DELETED!!!

Love the game but adding a PvP and or a full season NHL style with bracket style play off with series
Like a good game
An app is never actually going to be like a real hockey game or something real but for a hockey game I honestly think this is almost the best I can get your goalie is actually good when you pass sometimes it goes in the wrong direction but normally, you pass the puck to your team and it’s a fun game that you can play whenever you want but you do need Internet.But it sucks because whenever I press continue it says finding add and it doesn’t let me play it just says finding add over and over

Terrible game, makes u switch players over and over even when u want a player ahead it wont give it to you, dont play this dumb game total waste of time. Game has to many ads and gives you an ad after every game total waste of time. Creators of this game are dumb af wouldn’t recommend
Fun but too many ads
Really fun. I don’t find it hard to progress as others have stated just know how to play the game. My one and only complaint is the amount of ads. I would pay for an ad free version but haven’t seen an option for that.
Glitch
This game is good just so many glitches I have found and the amount of adds is insane, I upgrade my team then I try to play, ad every game ad, also you can body check goal, also I found a glitch that ruined my entire tournament, I was playing and winning but on the like resim, it glitched out and after they scored it didn’t go to the face off circle but rebounded back to them and they scored like 6 times, losing my tourney. Game also has very bad balancing, one game I’m playing 100 overalls the next I’m playing 50.
Really fun, ruined by ads
Very fun game, but it’s not the fact that there are ads or even too many.. it’s that they trap you in the ad and don’t let you close it, theres no countdown to ad ends, one I walkes away and came back 5 min later, the ad was still going and no way to exit! Just put a visible timer with a clear close button after and ads wouldn’t be an issue at all

The game was booty cheeks and the controlling was stupid so devs just find something your actually good at losers
One of the best retro hockey game out there
Yes the ai can be very like I mean very hard , but it’s genuinely very fun I like the upgrading part ,it’s not pay to win , it’s skill and time u spend earning better cards. It can be frustrating with the ai and normal shots don’t go in which is realistic. U have 100% more of scoring with juking the goalie or one timers / tap ins. Overall I hope they add online playing but others wise amazing game.

Very fun mechanics but sooo ad heavy
The mechanics to this game are very fun with a healthy balance of challenge. I really enjoy it but there are just ads everywhere and constant. After games, to unlock packs, to get money, etc. If it even had just a few less ads it would be an easy 4 or 5 star but the amount of ads is just staggering.

The game is really fun and cool. It has great graphics. The game also is like real hockey you can check in real hockey. You can one t in real hockey. You can pass in real hockey. Great game.
Don’t download it
At first I thought it was going to be fun playing against others in a retro style, but alot of the games are against AI pretending to be players and some of the games are easy and other times no matter what you do you can’t win. I know it is against a computer, because if you close out midway and reopen the app it asks if you want to resume the game or forfeit. Real action players the game would have been over already. If it was against others it would be fun, but against a computer that’s bipolar isn’t. Plus it’s ad central. ADS ADS everywhere. After every game all the time.
Almost perfect
There’s no need for me to buy and old console with nhl 94 thanks to this game. It’s four out of five stars it loses the last star for two reasons. 1) needs and empty net feature 2) for the love of god make the Popsa and Royal Match adverts stop! Especially Popsa.
