An Unexpected Masterpiece
This game brings me back to the age of free GOOD mobile games! The premium content is totally optional and isn’t predatory. Thank you guys so much for making a fantastic game that only cares to please the player!
Stuck in the very beginning
I’m at the very beginning and the game is stuck. You are supposed to put the suitcase on the desk and open it but the suitcase will not move. I have tried updating the game but it doesn’t help. I have watched you tube videos, exhausted all my coins on the help button but the suitcase will not move to the desk.
Expecting better storylines from this great series
Great game! That’s why I expect better stories. The third case is somehow thrilling, while the story could be more complicated.
Item Selection Issue
I love five BN and I was well on my way to making it through all of their games BUT then they switched the item selection features so you can’t pick up an item until you get to that specific task (at which point you have to go back and refind it). Not sure what the the rationale was but it drives me nuts and I stopped playing/buying their games altogether. If yall are reading this, please at least make a few with the old gameplay !! (And no AI would also be great)

I purchased the free hints and mini puzzle solves for 19.99, however, it only applies to this specific game If you download other episodes, you’d have to spend another 19.99 - not worth it to me

One star for overriding music apps
There is no reason that you have to make your game override music apps so we can't listen to our own music when playing it.
It good but…
The only thing I dislike is the fact that you get hit with hard puzzles. Bro I was opening a create and tell me why it has a puzzle to open it after I used a key? But overall great game. I love the story so far!
バグなの？って思うくらい
橋を直すために重りを10個探さないといけないとこで、 どこ探しても見つからない！ 画面の端から端を連打しても見つからない！ 攻略動画見たけど置いてる場所はランダムなの？って感じで動画見ても参考にならず、とりあえず動画通り探してみても最後の1個がどうしても見つからなかったのでムカついてやめました！ あと、パズルとかがとにかく面倒なものが多く、スキップする為にはコイン50枚が必要で、下手すると広告を10回見ないといけないハメに… ゲームの進行途中に無理やり広告入ったりしないので、それは良いのですが、面倒なら広告見てね！って感じの面倒な作りのパズルが多く、げんなりしてやめました。 無料ゲームなので広告を見せてなんぼ！なのはわかるのですが😓 ゲームとしては、謎解きするのにスタミナとかは無く、得意な人ならどんどん進められると思うので、その辺は親切だと思いました。

Hi, I seem to think I cannot continue on because I think it’s a bug but I got to 70% ish and I need to access the cemetery but I cannot and all videos show the next steps are in cemetery please help

Very interesting graphics, makes it feel real. Story like is good and interesting.
Meh…
Was almost impossible to play on my iPhone 16. Couldn’t see hidden items because they were so tiny and disappeared into the background making some of the puzzles hair pulling to play
First puzzle
Agreed with another reviewer that the gate door puzzle was hard. I see potential but ended up deleting the game after an hour on the same one. Will try another game of theirs, though
LOVE
As a “pro” at adventure escape type games I struggle to find ones that are challenging enough to keep me interested. Have been playing for 10ish hours. Love it.
Unsolvable puzzle
I am on the lights out puzzle with the books and it is not solvable I even got ChatGPT to try to do it for me and we spent 45 minutes trying to figure it out just for chat to tell me that this is unsolvable and I refuse to spend anymore money on these ridiculously hard puzzles.
5BN Games are great
I like how this game is divided into 5 cases. They’ve definitely gotten even better at making their games & improving any irritating roadblocks/mechanics. Definitely some of the best hidden object puzzle game makers I know. There was a symbol puzzle early on that held me up for hours that was irritating. It’s not something you can skip without paying or search solutions for since it randomizes. I do feel pretty accomplished for finally beating that barn door lock but I hated every second of doing it. Anyways, if you’re reading this, you should download all of the 5BN games and play them. I’m almost finished 100%ing all of them and I think they’ve helped change how I think. Ok i’m done glazing them j get the games
Puzzles Get Boring and Tedious
Pretty intriguing stories and decent graphics but most of the puzzles are too stupidly challenging and not interesting or fun. Just deleted the app.

I beat all three levels in 3 days bc I was absolutely obsessed. This game was challenging, yet not frustratingly so. Rather than being forced to buy gems or hints, you can simply watch an add. Super cool game. Will definitely be watching for more like it.
Chapter 2 Needs To Be Fixed
Very upset you all need to fix chapter 2, there is bug that refuses to let me go to cemetery I restarted the chapter and followed a walkthrough step by step which I hate doing and the game still won’t let me do what I need to do. How can I finish a story if it doesn’t work. Please Fix
Very detailed and great backstories but sometimes too difficult and a few bugs
This game is so much fun. I love anything from 5BN games. These games are well thought out and they put so much effort into the story. This game made it difficult for players to contact reinforcement. Some of the mini games are incredibly difficult. Finding items you need is also difficult because, depending where you are in the game, it might not allow you to pick up a necessary item until you need it. So, you basically have to remember every little detail. I assume this is a way for the developers to make money because you have to buy coins to get hints and to skip the hard mini-games. Other than that, these games are so much fun and I’m constantly checking to see if there are any new releases!
There’s a bug in Case 2
There’s an important part of Case 2, gathering metal roses from the shop. Something is wrong with the app - whenever I try to engage with the shop owner to collect these, I can’t. It shows me the same message over and over but doesn’t let her speak nor allow me to select anything in the shop. Because of this I can’t advance in the game and it’s frustrating because I love these games. I attempted to remove and re-add the app a couple times and restarted the case a couple time to troubleshoot but neither of those courses of action helped. Please fix this bug so I can continue the game and update my review to 5 stars.

ずっと前からこちらのゲームが大好きです。 ですが最近リリースされるものはゲームの難易度が難し過ぎて結構序盤で諦めてしまいます。 ロストランド初期やダークネスアンドフレイムの頃は良かったのに…。残念です。
Could’ve been better…
FIVE-BN GAMES make some of my favorite games. This new one, however, was not one of them. I love how they always have morphing and collectables to look for, however, they changed things up so that the collectables aren’t all on the main screen, as they always are. This time they can be on the main screen or another within the screen. This really irritated me because I like to find the morphing and collectables as soon as I enter a new scene but was unaware of this new change which caused me to waste a lot of time searching for something that wasn’t there. Please, don’t do this for future games. It’s an unnecessary waste of time. Why change something that doesn’t need change? Besides that issue, the game was good, as they always are but just not my favorite. I lost interest in the story after some time. I’m not sure if it was due to the collectable issue or the story itself. All other series are much better, imo.
Why isn’t there more cases?
I love this game. Only thing though: Why can’t it have more then 3 cases?
Disappointing
I’ve played all your games, but this one was a complete disappointment. I paid full price for this game and you did not include a strategy guide. No hints to do a puzzle and all the going back and forth to collect items. I was disappointed as well with lost lands 9. Seems like your going backwards with your games. Hopefully your next release will be more of what your devoted players expect from you. I noticed you did an update to add descriptions for mini games. How about a strategy guide?

And the puzzles don’t even have explanations. Can’t buy the game outright like before. Really disappointing as I love these games Update-you can now buy the game for a whopping £19.99. Used to be £6.99. Update. Bought it, nothing special changed. Certainly not worth the money
Good, but expensive
It’s an entertaining game, if not very original. You get three separate mysteries to solve, which must be played in order. But be prepared to spend money! Hints are five coins each (you have to purchase coins, of course) and if you want to skip one of the complicated puzzles, it’s a whopping 50 coins. You can purchase the “collector’s edition” with which you get unlimited hints and the ability to skip puzzles, but this costs £19.99. Twenty quid to play a game! I’m beginning to think we might as well give our bank details to the gaming companies and ask them to help themselves.
Brilliant game!
This game is exceptional! If you like a mystery/puzzle game, this one is awesome!! One of the best I’ve played! It is challenging yet not impossible. And the once or twice I needed a hint, I only needed to watch one add for a hint! No ads to play, and it is 3 separate “chapters”, so it’s like 3 different games! Really had a lot of fun with this one! :-)
Hints
I will write this again… 1st review didn’t appear! Gave 1 star as I’ve been playing for a while, but got stuck again so tried to watch ad for a hint. Have tried for 2 days, it just says no ad available.
Glitch
In chapter 2, no matter how many times I restart the chapter it won’t let me collect the metal roses in the beginning. Please fix this glitch. Besides that, it’s a great game.
Bug in case 2!
Couldn’t get the metal roses. Went as far as I could in the game. Can’t continue unless I visit the cemetery. I hope you fix this as I REALLY enjoy all the games that you develop.
Expensive
Not a bad game, it’s certainly not easy which leads me to require a lot of “hints”. However, the hints are quite expensive but you can get some by watching a video. The videos aren’t over long, some as short as 15 seconds, but you need to watch a lot of videos if you are to stand a chance of getting through stages in the game as some of the clues are totally unfathomable.
Five BN is the best
Always looking for new Five BN games. They are the best. Good storylines and challenging puzzles.
Bug in the 2nd case
The first case was fun and the second was good until I realized there was a bug in the second case. I got 70% done but couldn’t go any further because I couldn’t talk to the pawn shop lady. I tried tapping all over the place but wasn’t able to trigger a response .
Mystery Detective 1
I recently purchased the game and the only thing I can find frustrating is, when you have to solve a puzzle there are no clues as to how, where do you even begin solving something that just throws you into a forest and says “ solve the puzzle”. Otherwise I really love this kind of game interaction. And why does the tutorial just kinda abandon you at the beginning? Stlii, I’m very happy with my purchase.

Outstanding!
One of the best from FIVE-BN yet! Lost Lands hooked me (absolutely-beautifully-designed games) and I love them. New York Mysteries is great. But this just feels so refined and was so well-done. The graphics are always incredible in each of FIVE-BN’s games along with the ambient sound, atmospheric animations, textures, etc. The puzzles are always intuitive (you typically know just what to do) and such an excellent balance—challenging without disrupting the flow of the story with unclarity on what to do. I will say, the voice acting in this game is the absolute best by far—especially the detective as well as the mother of the victim in the second case. All cases were enjoyable. The second case was my favorite. Great story, great setting, great characters. Well-done and I can’t wait for the next one!

Good challenge
I enjoyed these, great graphics, voice acting, and challenging puzzles. Long ply time, also. My only complaint, and why I gave it four stars, is that some objects were near impossible to locate, and when I used a hint it always took me to a spot I had already searched several times. A coup,e times I had already tapped on an object, but not gotten it (such as a key sitting on a table). But, other than that frustration, I would really like to see more games like this.
