Game is broken current state. Can draw back but cannot release to throw.
Great game, needs controller
This is the same Worms I remember from 25 years ago when we’d all gather around a computer and play for hours. Despite this being a phone/touchscreen game, it seems impossible to play without an external controller.
Aiming
Homing missile aiming sucks, every other worms game has the aim assist on the launching stage.
Game is stuck
I would give this game a 5 but right now every time i open it it goes to a rewards screen that i cant get out of even i delete and re-download
Love it
It’s been a great bit of nostalgia blowing up the worms. Hopefully they bring back the blow torch. It’s one weapon I miss. And maybe add the capability to fire weapons while using the rope. Love it.
Draw back feature doesn’t work
Tells me to draw back on the screen and release to throw a grenade. I can draw it back see the meter and aim it accordingly but when I release nothing happens worms games seem to be a big scale on every platform now a days
Option to disable timer
Could you guys please consider adding a setting to turn off the timer? I just want to play this casually. I’m rushed all day at work and I don’t wanna be rushed playing a game to relax.
The ai worms are addicted to air strikes

Worms is really fun but after a while it started to get a little boring if you could make it it have more worlds.
Too much dialogue
Good game when you get to an actual game. The button pressed the most is the skip button! Deleted the game in the end

Nice at the start, but now no update and menu not working
I like the game, however the match settings on local multiplayer doesn’t work and it’s impossible to customise the game.

I’ve played most of the Worms games, excluding the most recent ones, for good reason. I’ve seen and heard many bad things about Rumble, and even W.M.D compared to the earlier games. Many hours were lost playing Worms Blast and Ultimate Mayhem. This is a great addition to the series, runs relatively well on my iPhone 8+, although it could be better. An option in the settings to change the graphics and frame rate would be ideal, and very easy to implement I assume. It’s a shame it’s an Apple Arcade exclusive, the Worms series is already on its knees, this is the final blow to end Worms for good I think, unfortunately.

DIEHARD WORMS FAN
I gave it a 4 despite my true feelings lean more towards a 3. I hate the controls, the touch ones are worse and the How to has controls for all areas except for Aim it says it needs a controller only. When I use the controller on my APPLE TV the aim and walk modes is frustrating to me. I would imagine because of that, we lose the ability to use the ninja rope? I use to love to wending across the map. I also miss being able to customize the name of my teammates. I miss being able to add my own sound effects, but for Apple I understand. I wish you brought back more customization like how big the worm blows up and the damage it gives off and on the weapons as well. I want a map editor back. I miss the choice between Fire and Water. I also miss the sinking island. There are a lot of elements I miss from the PC or other phone versions that I am. It getting in a more polished Apple Arcade experience. I gave it a 4 because at the end of the day I love worms, it’s my childhood and I remember fun times with my cousins. 4 star on nostalgia but a 3 from a die hard fan. This game has always had the makings of being 5 star and for me that was worms 2.
It’s pretty good…
No multiplayer.. banana bombs seem weird, like.. where are the bananas? It’s a good time waster, but I have problems with the controls. Why can’t I use my Apple Pencil? The controls just stop responding a lot of time, I don’t get that problem with any other app or game, just this one. It feels slightly rushed and does not feel premium.
Long time worms fan
I started playing worms in middle school at my friends house on his computer… he had worms Armageddon on a demo on a cd-rom… this should give a bit of a clue of how old i am lol. Anyway the game is just as fun as its always been however the fact that you guys dont have an online multiplayer mode to play with others is really just plain dumb tbh. Not trying to be rude but it is. Fans of the game both young and older would really enjoy that aspect

“What’s new” overlay cannot be dismissed, game unplayable.
Backbone doesn’t work
Love this game, but with the Backbone Controller attached, using a weapon is a guessing game and stops me from enjoying it. Such a shame. Please fix! Doesn’t seem to recognise when I’m pressing the R2/RT trigger.
Stuck on rewards screen
Great game. But with the newest update , when you start the game you’re stuck on the reward screen.
Love worms, but………
I have played all the worms games since they started and this is ok but needs work. First of all it crashes, several times a session, and i am on an iPad Pro. Also, unless i am missing something which is highly possible, you cannot edit worms names. This may come later but this is something i have always done and is a deal breaker for me if it isn’t included. Gameplay is as good as usual and graphics are perfect for the gameplay, but the lack of name editing kills the interest for me.

3 turns or less??
Thanks for the task of beating some levels in 3 or 5 turns or less while spreading the enemy all over the place with extra health making it impossible. Player would need the enemies to take themselves out to complete that task. What a joke. Controls need work. Moving around or adjusting the zoom causes weapon to be used. The fact you line up for a shot and the weapon hits AIR at your location and explodes is the worst. Some glitches. Rockets that make a hole but don’t blow up. Game will freeze up sometimes with one AI traveling around endlessly.
Good game play but crashes
AI worms crash constantly when timer reaches 0. Have to restart the level. Game play as good as the original
No online features
Not being able to play online with other players is something that this needs.
Loved the game - but now it’s frozen
Every time I try and change my worm team it’s asking me to select a different worm to change his name but I then can’t click off or change worms or leave the screen. Tried emailing support but nothing.

Decent game but just the ability to invite a friend on a different device for 1v1 would make it a great game
A Miss With A Hit
Sadly, this is a regression in the Worms franchise… which has happened several times, and now feels very intentional. Fortunately for everyone it’s on Apple Arcade and no one directly paid for this. It feels like a very cheap “mobile” game for 2010, and is missing any and all spirit as a game. It feels especially bad on macOS… like several Arcade titles, it feels like macOS and desktop gamers are an afterthought.

… it really needs live and asynchronous local multiplayer so I can play with friends and family.

Great game
Fantastic campaign mode with lots of hours to put into and content to win. Played local multiplayer which is great and works well. It 100% needs an online multiplayer mode then I’d give it 5 stars. Very occasional crashes but this will be fixed in time and with updates. Mainly if the worms get stuck.
Hard to play too often
It can be fun when tasks aren’t impossible, and the game doesn’t glitch you into an endless cpu loop making you start over. It’s become worse and less playable.
