Awesome App
This app is a good way to keep track of spending and your credit score. It helps me to see where my money is going and gives me options to create a budget.
Horrible
Never even downloaded the app find a charge in my account and have spent the last 2 days trying to cancel after being charged for over 2 years for something I had no idea what it was. Support email don’t work and they leave you on hold and never answer reporting to my bank as fraud as there seems to be no other way
Enhancement for future versions
It would be nice if you could manually add assets to calculate Net Worth
App doesn’t update regularly
This would be 5 star if…. The app updated regularly like daily for a budget app. How can I keep track if it takes 10 plus days to update transaction? Otherwise I love it it’s a great app and would be useful ( I would have paid the subscription) if it updated Let me know if you fix this and give me a 2 week free trial to see if it works and I’ll be a customer for life !
Missing credit card institutions
I like the overall feel and design and the app’s functionality seems promising. However it is missing a few credit card integration other than those issues from major bank including American Express. Unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me and decided not to pay subscription for it.
Best app to track your daily expenses
I never used any kind of app before to track my expenses. From last one month i am using this app and have very good experience with tracking of each and every expenses i am online or in-person. Try out this amazing app.

Setup now it won’t go past the loading screen … big waste of time and possibly security risk Developer response was absolutely useless
Easy to view
After struggling to get logged in, it finally worked! The system is pretty straightforward and easy to read. Like that you can choose to view in light or dark mode and to separates your expenses into easy colours:

Perfect App - Awful Support
I’ve used the app for a couple of days and decided to go with the trial plan. I connected my bank account, and it worked perfectly with no issues—something that’s often a problem with other apps. I really liked the appearance and how easy it is to use, and I was planning to continue with it. However, when I went into settings and turned on the automatic sync (or something similar), the app crashed and kicked me out. Since then, I’ve been trying to log in for several days, but it just keeps loading indefinitely. After some searching, I finally found the support contact info buried in the terms and conditions—which was surprisingly hard to locate. I called (went to voicemail) and emailed, but haven’t received any response. I’m still hoping someone gets back to me so I can continue using the app. Also, having a web login option would be really helpful, especially in cases like this.

Bloom is not Functioning - can no longer connect to bank. No user input (category) history.
I have been using the app for 6 months. Two month ago it started removing the transaction category changes I made when it connected with the bank. The app has not connected with the bank in 35 days now. For the transactions that are showing it only displays the last 10 days of the month no matter what filtering is used. Bloom Support is unable to resolve. No response to my refund request.

Nice app but we couldn’t enter the transaction manually either for cash expanses or for cash income !!!
Can’t get by setup
I downloaded and connected two accounts via Plaid. Since they were both added, the app freezes while loading. Bloom logo spins a few times and then stops spinning and on the splash page. Can’t get any further.

I was able to upload my cibc information which I thought was phenomenal since I can seamlessly track my spending habits. How do I do this with my Roger’s Mastercard though?
No updates
It don’t update information for my other accounts or main accounts last time updated information is 1 month old even after refreshing every day
Stay Away - They are Big Liars
I purchased the premium plan to use the rent reporting feature. They kept asking me to wait, and every time I reached out, they told me to wait again. They never responded to my emails. It’s a money trap — stay away. Most probably you guys respond and say we couldn’t find your name in the database as you always do other people. Funny
Loving the app, one thing missing along with a bug.
Hey! I am loving the app, exactly what i needed. One thing is missing though which is I have no option to connect my wealthsimple account, that account receives all the payments from my work and would love to have it connected! The third thing is there seems to be a bug where if i try to edit my simple budget it just gives me a white screen.
Good app, but…
Unfortunately, in Canada this app doesn’t sync well with institutions other than the big 5 banks. Even large institutions like Manulife don’t sync data well. This is likely due more to the lack of Open Banking regulations in Canada than the technical abilities of the app developers. Unfortunately, until Canada adopts Open Banking regulations any app that tries to provide these kinds of functionalities will likely suffer from similar issues. If these issues were resolved or Open Banking had been adopted, my review would likely be closer to 5 stars. If all you use are the big 5 banks, you may find this app excellent.
Buggy App
I’ve used it for a couple of months and always having issues with the app. With bank connections, it get stuck, not showing updated information and the AI functionality constantly breaks. Don’t waste your money.

They are ripping you off by charging what amount for subscription for the app that doesn’t work properly!!???? This is theft during broad daylight.
Won’t load and will forget my connections
The app has a really nice UI and when it works it works well but it rarely ever works. Forgets my logins and bank connections and constantly gets frozen on the initial load
ZERO CHANCE I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE
Unable to connect my capital one credit card despite bloom continuous claims that just connect it this way, do this and do that. Here we can see the stupidity and/or limitations of AI system widely used nowadays. AI tool gave me a couple basic kindergarten level trouble shooting hints and sent me off to the capital one support center. The capital one support center (actual live agent) denies any partnership with bloom although the same capital one Canada is listed on the list of institutions you can connect through the bloom app. Everything in one place the bloom claims? Not really, what’s the point of tracking my expenses if one of my major cards I use regularly cannot be connected to the app, despite their continuous claims that it is not a problem. The email communication is clearly generated by AI and only annoys me further by reiterating the same, kindergarten level questions and zero actual help. Getting emails from support that do this and do that and they just don’t listen and are not helping, not grasping that it’s not working. Very annoying and unreliable!!! Still trying to post this review for others to see what I’ve experienced. Clearly it is blocked, it’s been many days and it’s not appearing for others to see. I will find another way to share my negative experience with this app. Why is my negative review NOT POSTED for others to see?
App is not opening
I was able to connect to one account without logging in. For adding more than one account, I had to sign up for premium account and I enabled a trial account. After linking 3-4 accounts successfully, now the app won’t open. I keep getting OTP from RBC and EQ bank daily as bloom retries to get data. No way to disable or make any changes without the app. They don’t have a web UI as well.
Worked the first 3 months
I do not recommend the app. It does not launch anymore. Only a loading page. I had high hope for this one but do not waste your money and time
