Waste of money
If the purpose of you getting a virtual card is for ads payment platform like Snapchat, do not waste your money on this, Snapchat stopped accepting virtual Visa cards. So their virtual card doesn’t work - total waste of $ creation fee.

Holding my payment for 3 months now
I can’t give all the 5 stars because Cleva has hold my money for like 3months now and they are yet to release it and give me excuses upon excuses and they stop replying me and I have know Cleva more than a year now they are among the truthful platform but I don’t know what is wrong now even though I told them that the money is for my health but they choose to ignored and don’t bother to look my feelings, they don’t have human feelings and this is unfair, I beg them with everything but they rather keep mute. Please I will advise you to look into this please. B

Failed system
Imagine paying 3$ to get my card and after successfully debiting me they’ve resumed to process my card I’ve reached out to they’re failed customer support on the app and no response ,on gmail they keep saying they’ll look Int it but I can’t trust that as well,because they said on the customer support system in the app that they’ll be in touch with me in 30 minutes but nothing ,up until now my card creation is still showing pending dir over 5 hours,u recommended not downloading and his app to begin with there’s so many other alternatives to use my people

Do not download this app, they not supporting any payment from USA virtual account, even though you send from a business merchant, they’ll refund it and cancel it, if though you linked it through Ach and they’ll already received a token, and you initiated a transaction, they’ll decline it. They are very useless app. Beware

Your customer support response is poor. Why do I have to wait for 3 hours to get a human response? You guys should do well to fix that issue.

I’ve enjoyed using the Cleva online banking app overall — it has a clean interface, fast transactions, and good features. However, the experience has been seriously limited by their partnership with Lead Bank. One major issue is that Lead Bank rejects any incoming payments that don’t exactly match the account holder’s name. This has caused a lot of inconvenience, especially when receiving payments from clients or platforms that use abbreviations, initials, or slightly different name formats. It’s discouraging and makes the app unreliable for regular business or freelance payments. Cleva has potential, but until they either improve flexibility around payment name matching or partner with a more adaptable banking provider, it’s hard to recommend for users who rely on incoming payments from multiple sources. I hope this gets addressed soon, as it really impacts the usability of an otherwise solid product.
The best app for receiving USD in Nigeria
Like WTH, compared to Geegpay which I was using previously, Cleva is no doubt an absolute wonder. Two words summarizes them - Speed and Support 💜!
Hidden fees will eat your money,Avoid!
Absolute worst experience. I sent ₦17,000 to fund a virtual card for a purchase. Not only did the card not work, but between the 3 card creation fee and their outrageous exchange rates (charging ₦1,440/, but refunding much lower), I lost almost ₦5,000 just trying to get my own money back. They also force you to keep a $1.00 minimum balance on the card that you can’t withdraw easily. If you want to keep your money, stay away from this app. Their "convenience" is just a trap for fees. Do NOT download this app.

Great App, but Needs Naira Transfer Feature
Cleva is a great platform with a smooth interface and reliable service. However, it’s disappointing that we can’t transfer or withdraw funds from the Naira account to other Nigerian banks. Once we deposit money into the Naira account, there should be an option to send it out just like with the USD account. Please consider adding this feature — it would make the app much more useful and convenient for users in Nigeria. Looking forward to future updates!
Overtime App Update
Fine you guys has a good service you’re rendering, but what’s it with updating of app overtime It’s frustrating honestly and you need to stop that. Again you’re telling me nickname taken(I don’t understand)

As a freelancer, I will say this is the best app to use together with PayPal, link paypal to it, receive money in PayPal, to Cleva then to your bank. Easy👍🏾
WORST MONEY APP EVER
Hello, I am writing regarding my account under review and the held funds, which were to be resolved by March 25, 2026. I have fully complied with all verification requests. However, I have not received a resolution or access to my funds. This is my final request for: - Immediate release of my funds, or - A clear explanation and timeline for resolution If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to escalate this matter to the appropriate financial authorities and consumer protection agencies. Stop Forcing Updates
Enough of the Forced updates on users, this is not a gaming or social media app, it is supposed to be close to a bank app, there is always an imposing update notification almost everytime I open the app to do something, updating app should be at users wish. it is annoying an update almost every week if not twice a week Haba

It’s a scam, They will make you go through all the kyc verification process just to steal your data and end up not verifying your account, run away don’t even try to open an account with them.
