I learned that cheese blocks me up! Every day that I have cheese I either have type 1 or 2 so now I’m on a cheese withdrawal and my gut health has been amazing!

Exporting health data should include meals, exporting data as a CSV would be a quick win too. It has a focus on relieving constipation but falls should on dealing with loose stool and IBS from what I can tell. From the generated summaries I think the system prompts of the LLM could be improved as information is often vaguez
Helpful
I been struggling with bowel issues. This has helped me know exactly what my symptoms are for when I have dr.’s appointments. It also helped me learn which foods affect me and how they affect me.
Paid app
This app requires that you create and account and once you do, tells you about the paid subscription to use it. I don’t like when apps do this as I would rather not provide my information to companies when not necessary since I won’t be using this app. If you have to pay to use it, that should be clearly advertised before downloading.

Absolutely loved this app when I first found it months ago (not sure how long I’ve had it tbh, awhile) but now it feels like you have to pay the subscription for literally everything. Just to check your monthly calendar!!! Basically not a free app anymore 😒

Easy to use. Great visibility into trends vs me trying to remember or waste energy on gut health. . Love this app.
Too busy
As a gastroenterologist, I was looking for an app I could confidently recommend to my patients for tracking symptoms and treatment response. Unfortunately, this app isn’t suitable for that purpose. The frequent pop-ups prompting upgrades make the experience feel noisy and distracting. In addition, the bar charts are not visually intuitive and don’t clearly display weekly and monthly trends, which are critical for monitoring GI symptoms over time.

Not Really Free - Pricey Pro Version
This is by far the best looking and feeling tracker app, but is it really free when you can’t use half the features and the cost of the premium is so high for an app? You can’t log the food or symptoms without purchasing which is a huge part of tracking IBS. If they bring the cost down for premium, I can see this being very useful.
Devs! I’d like to get Balloon plus however..
App is good, exactly what i’ve been looking for actually, the only issue is that to use any of the plus features you have to purchase a year long subscription and there’s no option for a monthly subscription. This makes it way less accessible to people who would otherwise try it. I’d say if you can afford it, it’s most definitely a very useful app made with a lot of love. Also side note: Oil in stool would be a good addition for symptoms and i’m not sure if this is already a feature on Balloon plus but being able to log if you threw up would be great too.
I track everything
I am a tracker. Menses, food, sleep, blood oxygen… Gut health is important, and I use Balloon to track how often and the type. It’s been a great tool.

La premessa è buona, per poco mi ha aiutato a monitorare la mia salute intestinale, ma la versione gratuita ha veramente troppe limitazioni e 60 euro all anno sono davvero tanti per quello che offre, avrei preferito un pagamento una tantum… (Non fatevi ingannare, ho scaricato l app dallo store di Apple Watch, l idea era che avendolo sempre al polso sarei riuscita a registrare ogni volta, ma per farlo bisogna pagare l abbonamento da 60 euro!) Per di più dopo due/tre settimane di utilizzo non registra più nulla, dimentica i salvataggi passati, ed è quindi inutile… do comunque due stelle perché potrebbe migliorare e risolvere i bug

It would s a very good app, I just wish plus was cheaper.
Advice is incredibly slow and ruins the app experience
Good interface in terms of logging the time and type of bowel movement but the amount of advice the app forces you to look at (which populates slowly, word by word on the screen with no ability to speed up or skip) is insufferable.
App works for tracking BMs, not BM color
As someone with Crohn’s Disease, I’ve noticed that the color selection for BMs is very limited, ignoring orange and dark brown. It also is unclear what BM type to use when there are definitely more nuanced types of diarrhea. Overall I like it, but it could be better for sure.

Not Free $60/yr
It’s hard to find a free app or a affordable app these days while everyone hides behind “in-app purchases”. Apple doesn’t offer or force any transparency with app developers and this can waste your time. So for those looking for something simple to track their stools, understand this app is $60 a year and requires a subscription. This will hopefully save you the time of downloading.
Easy to track
Really easy to track bowel movements. There is a lot that is locked behind a pay wall. It’s quick and easy to document and does the job for me.
Paywalled basic features
This app paywalls tracking your symptoms. It also has an AI that analyzes your food, i mean… cmon.
This app Has helped me keep my health A1
I didn't realize that so much of my health problems revolved around my severe constipation issues that occurred over the past year. After downloading this app over a month ago I am more mindful of my stomach emptying, and I've even lost 13lbs
Great with some improvements needed
Overall the app is simple to use and has a lot of great features, even with the free version. I decided to subscribe to get access to medication tracking however this feature needs two main improvements. 1) it doesn’t reset each day. If you log your meds on Monday, they still show as taken on Tuesday. 2) please add medications taken to the activities on the calendar view. I’d like to be able to click on a day and see everything that happened that day in one place. I canceled the free trial because of this but would resubscribe if these features are implemented.
Helped track my constipation!
I got the app because I was struggling with some issues(constipation). This app helped me know how long I was going without using the restroom. 10/10 so easy to use and free!!

Great app for basic tracking!
Got this app because I have food sensitivity issues and it’s a good way for me to track reactions. The only thing I would say is maybe add more to the symptoms section. Things like pain/cramping. The notes section works for that just fine though!
