Scam Alert
Avoid this app at all costs! Booked a trip to Spain and they sneaked into my bank account to charge me £100 for an auto-renewed Prime subscription I never agreed to. When I contacted them, they promised a refund that never arrived. I even purchased Prime just to get my original ticket refunded, and now customer service has gone completely silent for days. They take your money instantly and ghost you when you need help. Do not link your card or bank details to this app!

Bon concept de base mais il y à beaucoup d’effort à faire sur la praticité de l’application. J’aimerai aussi mettre en avant le fait que l’abonnement opodo prime est à fuir totalement, arnaque du service client qui essaie de trouver des excuses à tout pour ne pas entreprendre de remboursement alors qu’il ne sont pas en position de refuser.. il a fallu parler de déposer une plainte pour qu’ils acceptent instantanément le remboursement

I was forced into a prime subscription unless it would cost me almost double in hidden fees, now I have to wait a couple of days before I can “cancel at any time”

Opodo Prime Scam
Do not even take up a free trial with Opodo prime. They rely on you forgetting to cancel the free trial period and then charge you £99.99 as soon as it’s over. I asked to cancel on day one and they refused to refund me or uphold my legal right to a 14 day cooling off period. It’s a scam based on discounts off wildly inflated prices. There’s always a better deal out there so don’t use Opodo.

Das Point A Hotel in London hatte ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Allerdings hätte man bei einer Direktbuchungen über das Hotel sogar das Frühstück inbegriffen gehabt.
Hält weniger als es verspricht
Ist darauf ausgelegt durch Rabatte und Gutscheine die Kunden an Opodo zu binden um das Geld an anderen Stellen wieder einzuholen. Letztlich gibt man genauso viel aus oder mehr und hat weniger Optionen.
Ok app but not great
It works for most basic things. Ideally the app would remember my frequent cities I am visiting and my details. I somehow find myself entering the same data over and over again, including the city I often travel to. Also, it often takes a lot of time to load. Also, somehow a different phone number than my number is passed on to hotels which prevents them from issuing an auto room key. They need to invest in the app as this is below par.

J’ai fait une demande de changement de date de vol 5 jours avant mon départ de Bergen. Je n’ai reçu que des réponses qui attestaient qu’on me recontacterait. On ne m’a jamais recontacté, malgré mes nombreuses tentatives, y compris par téléphone. Je déconseillerai désormais Opodo, et je ne l’emploierai plus.
Difficile à joindre
Ne met pas à jour les billets si la compagnie a changé les horaires de vol. Compliqué de se désinscrire de l’abonnement par ailleurs. Avoir un interlocuteur peut être hardu.

We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. Great room, clean, very comfortable beds. Great pool with lots of sun beds and shade should you want it. Right on the beach with plenty of sun beds and the wonderfully warm sea. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thank you.

Lovely rooms in the centre but hidden away to feel authentic
Great location, decent size room with good modern bathroom, lots of privacy. The staff at the hotel reception where you have to check-in and check out was very nice and accommodating . The only issue - it really wasn’t clear what phone number to call or text for check-in, I had to spend some time and effort to call and Google. Should be much clearer so easier when travelling and arriving.
Missed flight
Opodo l was at the airport earlier than2 hours but had to pay 50 for boarding pass as you couldn’t check me in and sent a message as l was on way to airport we were over booked but 11 people so was bumped off and not able to fly next available plane to cork 7.20 in morning from Stansted so had to get taxi to make it as no trains £80.00 not only was it stressful disappointing had one day with my friends missed the event but it cost a lot extra back from Gatwick wasted time no one to answer any question and Opodo did not answer the questions dreadful

Scam-like experience
Fairly low prices come at the expense of intransparent “deal” practices that require special attention, support hotlines with foreign phone numbers and spam mails. Multiple functions to cancel or quit stuff are buggy, at least on the phone, including account deletion. Coincidence? I think not.

Booking my flight & hotel to Istanbul with Opodi was quick & easy - hassle free. Prices were competitive, smooth booking process & instant confirmation. I highly recommend Opodo, I have used them several times, especially if one joins their Prime Membership - there are great savings
Scam
Prices are almost always cheaper when you book directly with the airline or hotel than through Opodo. You’re paying more alongside a membership fee, yet they can’t explain why their prices are higher than booking directly. It feels like an absolute scam.

Hallo, es ist kompliziert bis ich als Kunde zu Daten vordringe wie Buchungnr der Airline und Datum etc. Es benötigt mehrere clicks im eingeloggten Account und das ist sehr störend

Higher prices
This app used to offer flight prices that justified the premium membership, but not anymore. The app also really pushes itself as the best for hotel prices but it falls short of the competition for that.

Die App ist übersichtlich, genau wie alle anderen auch. Also nichts besonderes. Wenn man in den Ergebnissen der Hotelsuche von der Listenansicht auf die Kartenansicht wechselt, scheint die App eindeutig ihre Schwäche zu haben! Die Bereichssuche funktioniert meist gar nicht. Beim Hereinzoomen kommt ab und zu die Weltkarte und dann stürzt die App ab. Das ist schon immer so gewesen und irgendwie traurig, dass hier noch nichts verbessert wurde…

Discounts are just added fees and charges that are removed! Free cancel only gets you 80% or credit
I’ve never found any booking to be actually cheaper. The “discounts” are just added fees. Their billing systems are all over the place. The free cancellation offers 80% credit and if you want a cash refund you are left to deal with the airline! Customer service is responsive and mostly helpful

The app freezes and does not work . Done update , reset but the app is not good . Waste of my time .

When open the app have an ad, after the app open comes another ad, after go to "my trips" another ad, go see your flligh another ad, before make the check-in another ad, go to "flight essentials - your bags" another ad, what is happening with this app? After download the app have hundres of cookies to accept/decline, but why so many vendors, what is this app doing with all this private data is collecting?

Scam renewals
They would renew your membership and charge you without even asking or any notification. They already mentioned on first call they will explicitly ask for renewal and won't renew without my approval. Customer care won't refund you at all and you are stuck with a membership you don't want. Very bad experience. Do not recommend.
