Great Idea
Great idea for an app, but costs either $12.99 per month OR $79.99 annually. Someone who is paying off debt won’t want to pay that lol
Good so far
I like it! Dont even realize that my round ups are so impactful. However it only found my major debts; like car loan and student loan. I wish it could do minor ones too like credit card. But i like it
$100 for subscribers
I thought this would be a useful way to pay off my debt. It didn’t list the cards I wanted to pay off and therefore I canceled my account the same day. A week later they charged me $93.14 for a service I didn’t use and canceled same day. It’s a little steep for people trying to pay off debt I think. Also make sure to cancel in the app and online AND in your Apple subscription or they’ll still charge you.
Too good to be true
Sadly twice now the card I’ve been focusing on was flagged for suspicious activity and I’ve needed to get 2 new cards within 2 months. I wish that didn’t happen I really loved paying off extra debt.
Ditch makes Deb payoff enjoyable
I’m actually really surprised at how much I love this app. It does everything I’ve been wanting to do to really tackle my debt and get a hold of us spending and finances and budgeting. I am obsessed. The fact that I can actually make money in the app to pay off debt is the biggest added bonus I could ever imagine. Automating everything is a gift and a blessing and I just can’t stop talking about this app.
Too expensive
Really wanted to love this app. But the subscription and the transfer fees are too much. I can easily set up an automated payment each week for my credits cards. This won’t cost me any fees and all my money goes my debt instead of some towards my debt and some towards and app paying it for me.
Super helpful 💚
This app has been super helpful in actually helping me pay down debts! It was easy to link my accounts and actively keep track of accounts with syncing. The best part is that Ditch automatically sets up payments based on my preferences. Once I’ve hit that threshold, they initiate the payment for me. I don’t really have to monitor or take action unless I want to! It helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is the one app that has actually helped me with debt! I’m thankful I stumbled across the tiktok for this app!
Great app but expensive
Very beneficial app but for $10 a month I can easily just scheduled auto payments myself
Just okay
As many have pointed out, now I’m paying ditch and my credit cards. I don’t like how slow the process is of moving money from ditch to the account being paid off. Also, for the first week free, they only offer one ditch payment based on your spending, then they don’t process anymore until after they charge you the subscription. Sketchy move. I’ll use it for a year then see what I think.
A debt help
I am enjoying this app. You can too. Download it today and give it a try.
Good app but transaction fees kill it
The app is well designed and works well but charging a monthly/annual fee to use + $1 charge on every transfer for standard bill pay transaction is a little wild. Should be one or the other not both
Incorrect balances
Ditch is pulling in incorrect numbers from my bank, for example, it is says I owe $9999 to 2 credit cards which is inaccurate. I also have not been able to successfully connect Target Red Card account.
Absolutely worth it
This app has it made it so easy to pay down debt. I wish I had found this sooner.
Slow
The app is a great idea in theory. It is so slow to transfer to your debt account that it would be better to calculate it myself and pay it myself without fees and pay less interest and fees doing it myself.
Great idea but needs work!
I really love this idea and was super excited to try it but none of my cards were willing to accept the payments. Super bummed
Love it!
It’s been so easy to use and I love seeing the progress in real time!
Beta phase?
It does not allow me to crest an account. Just see the demo
subscription & processing fees
honestly such a good idea and this app will go very far and be very successful in the future! most people just want a cheaper option than a subscription!!
Amazing app
This is such a helpful app. Highly recommend!
Hidden fees
App sets up by default to calculate what you spend and takes your spare change rounded to next dollar and adda it to a “bank” hold on the ditch account. Once this reaches a 20$ threshold it takes the cash from your payment account to pay off your debt account. What they don’t tell you is they charge a convenience fee on every single transaction with a 1$ minimum. So every time it moves 20$ it charges you 1$ … so roughly 5% fee to operate. I cancelled as soon as i saw this because i had not seen anything about that charge anywhere … plus this is a subscription app to begin with. Pretty shady business practice
Money Management
So far I have enjoyed it app. Very user friendly and makes it easy to see where your money is actually going.
Do Not Use!!
The app/subscription is nearly impossible to cancel. Customer services refuses to cancel account, after all steps have been taken, and will withdraw your account. I have also not seen any actual payoff made, although my account was charged
One request
Love this app and have been making big progress with my credit cards so far. I have a savings account open with my credit card issuer and would love to see an option where I can put my spare change from my purchases into the savings account instead of just paying down my debt. Then this app would be perfect.
Great Idea, Terrible Customer Support
Extremely disappointed with the support experience. Our American Express account was suspended after payments processed through Ditch triggered compliance issues with Amex, and we urgently needed documentation explaining how the payment system works. We’ve tried calling, leaving voicemails, and sending messages through the app, but have received no response at all. For a financial app handling people’s bank accounts and credit card payments, responsive customer support is not optional. Right now we’re facing potential permanent account suspension with Amex and can’t even get a basic explanation letter from Ditch. The app concept is good, but the lack of communication and support when something goes wrong is honestly unacceptable.
Paid off my credit card
I have been working on paying off a stubborn credit card for two years and Ditch helped me make $2k in extra payments AND see where I was wasting money each month
No trial, immediate subscription
What’s the point if I can’t see the effectiveness of the app if there’s not even a small trial period or anything? I would be more willing to subscribe if I could see if it actually works the way I’m hoping it does. Would appreciate if it showed the subscription portion at the VERY beginning before people make accounts so they don’t waste their time if they’re unaware it requires a subscription with no trial.
the best app
I’ve been using ditch for only a few months and have paid off $600 of my debt which doesn’t sound like a like compared to how much debt I’m in but it’s saved me so much on interest! highly recommend!!
