Worst banking app
Worst app ever, after the upgrade I can’t even register using my existing savings account. And they removed the ability to access online banking via browser. Now I have no way to check my account. I’ve tried to reached the support email but after a month still no feedback from them.
App is still new, but let’s see. Hopeful
Hopefully this app is a greater improvement than the last one.

Cannot Change From Old Device to New Device natively.
Why can’t it just unregister my old phone to new phone? I went to the nearest branch and told me that i could log in after 24 hrs but after 2 weeks i still cannot log in to my new device. Please update your app so that we could just unregister the old phone then register the new on inside the app itself.

I updated my CBC App yesterday 8/8/26 but it's not supported by e-wallet so Im struggling to transact to gcash. 😣
Lock Card Function
Everything else is good. But please add "lock card" function. To add more security to our card. So that we won't be hesitant in using it knowing that we can protect it.
Big improvement
The new App is more convenient, user-friendly, and makes banking transactions quick and hassle-free. I especially appreciate how easy it is to manage my accounts and perform transactions anytime, anywhere.
Indeed worst banking app
Unable to register while providing correct account details, tried to submit helpdesk via app - internal error. Tried to use my existing online banking username - unable to register. Just worst!
Add to Apple Pay is such a hassle
Adding the credit card to apple pay is frustrating. It should already be seamless and secured since we go through the mobile app, but it still requires the cardholder to call the hotline for verification which is actually not really secure.

No proper migration planning, very poor implementation. Who ever the project manager should be fired. Please engage a proper vendor like Fiserv to fix this major issue.. this is getting very stressful! Almost 2months, no update, no resolution!
Savings Account
My savings account suddenly disappeared and when I try to bring it back using the manage accounts feature, it’s not showing up either. I tried logging in on web browser but it’s also not there. So what happened to my savings account and my money???

Too slow customer service when you call for them And get help 1 hour you wait on to transfer and anther 2 hours for them to answer your call this customer service online and phone slow and no good...fix your customer service and online banking help for everyone to enjoy using chinabank service slow and no good service ...bad rating

This is way better than the old app. I can easily transfer funds or pay bills now without logging in again and again. Plus, I love how they change the backgrounds, depending on the occasion or event or holiday. That makes the client smile, making us feel good before doing banking transactions. 😊

Always broken
No idea why this app is rated so highly. This is so Typical. Filipinos can’t make an app work properly. Filipinos can’t do anything properly. No matter how many calls I make to Chinabank to fix this issue no one ever follows through with their promises to fix this issue. The app is garbage just like the Chinabank. Ridiculous. Here’s the error message I always receive when trying to log in. No one seems to want to fix this issue: “Something went wrong We apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently unable to process your transaction due to an issue with the device registered in your account. You may visit the nearest branch or contact us at (632) 888-55-888, and our team will be happy to assist you. Thank you for your understanding.”

CBC overhyped their new app but it’s an embarrassment and disappointing - looks dated and disgusting. At this day and age of constant BIN attacks and scammers everywhere, a LOCK FEATURE is. MUST! Go back to the drawing board. Edit: 02.05.2025 is it in your roadmap to put a lock feature in your dinosaur app?
