Christmas under the northern lights
Excellent!
New to app
Needs to be updated to 2026. Does not work well
Refreshing
I have watch a number of movies on the Ap since late summer and now into fall. It has been reliable, easy to use, and all of the movies enjoyable. A fun mix of romance, humor and some mystery. Loving the Christmas movies now. It seems they have worked hard to address issues shared a year ago and made great progress.
Needs attention to updates
It’s not updating new programming like the webpage says.
Need help
I love the fact that I can check off what I’ve watched, however, this app is extremely slow and it isn’t put together well. I’ve asked for help several times regarding Want to Watch list that says I have three items but when I click on it nothing appears.
Needs lots of Updates
The app would be helpful if it would add reminders to my calendar. When checking off a movie having to click back multiple times is a pain. Love the shows but the app needs drastic improvements. Hallmarks Apple is so easy to use and adds reminders to my calendar for new premieres, come on GAF get the app working better it needs a major overhaul before Christmas!!!
Nice to have a checklist
This is a fairly nice app. On an occasion or 2 it seemed to default to 2023 checklists & older. It appears to be the section below below the previews which shows outdated info such as the “what’s on tonight” - not working, and shows “Christmas in July” & “July calendars”; these section need to be updated. It would be nice if we could have a calendar widget list to put on our Home Screen to show what’s on today/tonight. It would be nice if they could somewhere show a daily schedule of what’s on in list form. The only thing I can find in the app are previews of what’s on. I would prefer a list that I could scroll through & only watch previews if I choose to for a movie. It would also, be nice if they could somehow clarify exactly what the differences in each channel is; esp with all the recent changes & new Great American Pure Flix channel. And identify what shows/movies can only be seen on a certain channel temporarily or permanently.
Both love and hate
I love being able to keep track of which movies I've watched and still want to watch. But it seems that keeping the app up-to-date is not a priority at all. The only time they seem to update it is late fall when the Christmas season starts. Please update it all year!! And also just fix the tech so it works more smoothly.
GFAM checklist
Love the channel it is the best, but when I try to bring up my open app to see the 2025 checklist all that comes up is blank page and they just advertised the checklist on theGFAM channel on Direct TV. ☹️
No update
Never has the new movies.
🥲
Eu gostaria muito que tivesse outro idioma BRASIL😐
Needs improvement
Very slow to load. Have to keep logging in. After logging in I go back to the page I was on and it says to log in again. Please separate episodes for show series like, When Hope Calls,so we can check them off individually. It appears the last time this app was updated was 2 years ago. Please fix issues
Need for all movies
This app should be for all movies like hallmark does to keep track of all gac movies Not just Xmas.
Super Slow
Very slow to load. Hard to find what you’re looking for and the slowness just makes it worse. I would watch more on this channel if I could navigate their App. Hallmark’s is so much better I find myself choosing those movies because I can find them easier.
App Needs Lots of Improvement
I had been logging in all the movies I have watched for years and all of a sudden everything is gone. Tried to sign in and couldn’t. Tried to change password and was told there would be an email which I never received. Just very frustrating. But I do love the programming especially during Christmas season.
GFAM app checklist
Is there an issue with the app at this time? It will show the homepage but will not download any of my data
S
So much potential so poorly executed
Checklist not updated
The printable checklist is NOT correct. They have changed some movie premiers that do not match the checklist
Not Working
This app is not working. I only get a while screen with logo. I need to be able to see movie listings (like the Hallmark app) so I can set DVR to record. Disappointed.
Sad
Not up to date. Takes too long to load. Disappointed
Tedious, Slow, Inaccurate
This app is a great idea but the execution is terrible. It is extremely slow to move around in. The my watch list section is always inaccurate. Anytime you go into a movie you have to click the back arrow twice to get back to the screen you were on. Simply put it’s tedious to use and frustrating they don’t seem to make any fixes. The Hallmark app is far superior.
Clumsy
I have used other movie checklist apps that are all better and easier to use than this one. It is slow. It is clumsy to go from one movie to another. It is difficult to see what the latest movies are available on the cable channel. This channel is one I use a lot and so I am really disappointed that the checklist app is so clumsy. I won’t even use it.
Nice to have- But
They need to update more often, show more than Christmas movies
Needs a lot of editing
Take a long time to load whenever you select a movie. When you want to back out to go back to the list of all the movies, you have to hit the back arrow wait for it to load then hit it again and wait for it to load again. I should only have to hit the back arrow once to be taken back to the movie list. Takes a bunch of extra time. This has been an issue since the beginning of the app. A year with no improvement is not a good sign. I also wish that there was an option to add all of the movies for that season to your watchlist instead of having to do it individually. Lastly the new Christmas movies for this year are all out of order. A movie that just premiered on Saturday says that it doesn’t premier for another 8 weeks. makes it difficult to know which movie premieres I’m supposed to be looking to watch each weekend. Would love to see some major improvements to the app.
2+ years and no improvement
This app is clumsy at best. There are way too many clicks necessary to choose movies seen or want to see. Like many others have said-All movies per category-Christmas, Romantic Comedies etc., should be listed on one page with a checkbox right there. This is an easy fix. Please care enough about viewers to get this right. We don’t need games within this app, at least until it works properly.
Bleh
It’s awesome to have a movie checklist. However it is very “clunky” to use! WHY ARE YOU NOT LISTENING TO THE REVIEWS?
Blank screen
I have nothing show up but I plain white screen. I have removed and reinstalled the app twice and nothing has changed. Funny how you push downloading the app, but when it’s downloaded it doesn’t work.
Not a helpful app
The app doesn’t work most of the time. It just comes up with a blank page. When it does work, you can’t find all the shows. It also is very hard to go back-and-forth between descriptions and different pages.
