Great Money Management App
I was also a longtime Mint user and when I was looking for a good alternative I came across Piere. This app meets or exceeds all of the functionality I expect from a money management app. I can easily track my spend per day across various categories, monitor my net worth, set budgets, etc. The addition of AI has made it even easier to query my financial data and gain useful insights. Overall this app has been great to use and is something I rely on daily.
They will not remove your data when you request
On their website there is a button in your profile to delete your account. When you click it, they tell you that you must contact customer service to delete your data. OK.... So then you contact customer service and you get AI emailing you back immediately telling you to do what you already did. You explain to the AI that you tried that and were directed to email. The AI apologizes and promises to connect you with a real person. Days go by and nothing happens. You write again. The AI doesn't remember you even though it's the same email chain. You explain again. The AI again apologizes and promises to connect you. Nothing. This is unacceptable for an app that holds your most sensitive financial data. An absolute joke of a service.

Does the job ad a Mint replacement
New update revamped
Disappointing new update. They took a clean and useful dashboard and UI then hid it behind extra clicks, while pushing AI. Instead of building on what users already liked and adding new value to paid users, it feels like the new update made the existing experience worse unless you pay. This feels like a great way to push users like me away instead of convincing me to be a paid customer.
It’s ok for the price
Transactions don’t update for a couple of days even though it shows “refreshed a few hours ago”. Other than that for the price (I’d they don’t hike), I would recommend it.
Great replacement to mint
I have been looking for a new app after mint was retired. Tried several but nothing worked. Piere has been great from day1 and they kept add new features that enhanced the experience.
Unanswered tickets
I have made tickets over the past few weeks with no communication. I tried direct mail. My main checking account won’t connect so the app isn’t useful at this moment. Arvest is listed under Plaid but it says try again later when trying to connect and has said that for the last month. I’ve used Reddit to address my issue as well.
Reliable
It’s a solid app that, unless your compensation swings wildly, really delivers on the finance front. It makes budgeting easy.
Not Canadian-compatible
Unable to find my Canadian bank to hook onto this app. Was looking forward to trying it out. Hopefully expanding to include more options soon.
Updated review
I mistakenly deleted my review. Reassessing the budget function after account reset and upgrade. And I will return.
Incredible App
Moved to Piere from Mint and never looked back, love the features, love the developers, nothing but a positive experience!
app won’t let me get past the tutorial
it has me click on menu and then it turns black and i can’t click anything
Reliable App for Saving
Initially I was skeptical.. thinking just another budget app. But, so far I’ve been able to achieve my goals and keep on track to build my savings. I’ll let you know if Piere has any future issues.
Need to reconnect
Great mint alternative but a day after I connected my 6 accounts, they have all been disconnected. Takes a long time to manually reconnect them
Promising app
App is in its early stages but getting better every update. Not the most reliable currently with issues from data provider connections (constant reconnection needed for updates, missing transactions). Budgeting is okay so far.
Dependable, easy, innovative
Piere is the most the dependable and easy-to-use budgeting platform I’ve ever experienced. They are constantly innovating and bringing new features and efficiencies to improve the platform and leverage new technology. This is my every day foundational budget app now.
No customer service
The app charged me for the platinum version though I had opted out of it. This company uses all AI. You can NEVER reach a real person. Terrible business model. Do not download. You will get overcharged.
Close to Mint, not perfect
Despite linking my accounts multiple times, Piere still doesn’t have an accurate portrayal of my finances. I don’t use it often because I don’t find it extremely useful. I prefer budgeting with pen and paper.
Budget Tracker
App is built primarily for American users - many X-ray recommendations not applicable in Canada. I still use this as a budget tracker in Canada and works with most Canadian institutions. Reporting and charts are not intuitive (yet).
Great Resource
After Mint shut down I wanted to find an alternative that would give me a similar or better alternative. I got in on the ground floor and haven’t regretted it. It’s easy to connect to institutions and easy to see what you’re doing. You can customize the home page to what you want/need to see. They are also constantly making it better.
Gone downhill
I’m one of the very first users of this app and helped contribute to many early features and design decisions. This app had lots of potential when they first started out. Now they’re locking down basic functionality (like category editing) from “plus” users to push them into a higher “platinum” tier. I’m also tired of them trying to shove useless AI features down my throat when they don’t even have the basics down. The most recent update makes the app unusable with the new budgeting page design. It’s buggy, harder to navigate, and harder to process visually. They change pieces of the design every week and it doesn’t feel thoughtful or that they have an overall vision.
Good option
Great option if you’re looking for a simple way to see your say budget! Definitely one of the better apps.
Free version could use help
I picked this app just to see where my money is going. I like the pie chart. But the app bills itself as a free service while it offers extremely little unless you buy a subscription. It also keeps going out of sync w my accounts so the data is out of date all the time, very frustrating. And the free version only permits 3 accounts to be linked.
Awesome App
When the Mint app stopped, I was searching for something very similar. I then stumbled across Piere and love it! Simple to use and has all the features that I was looking for.

After using Mint for so long there was a bit of a learning curve learning a new app, but I am happy with Piere's performance. Their team is very helpful and quick to respond.
So helpful
This app is so easy to if you have a bit of experience with AI and has really helped me save a little money for a rainy day. Before Piere, I spent every penny, now I am held accountable and attribute that to the app.
Cannot Finish Set-up
My boyfriend suggested I use this app to help track my spending, he uses it and says it alright. However I can’t even finish setting up my account because it won’t let me verify my number. I keep pressing resend verification code but it never sends me one. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading, turning toggles on and off again in my message settings, restarting my phone and everything else Google and Reddit have suggested… nothing works. After reading the reviews and seeing the other connection issues, I’m not surprised it doesn’t work.
Works well
I use this more as a tracker than a planner but it works very well for intended purposes

Been a day 1 user and love the direction this app is going. If you liked mint, this is your best option
App issues
I wanted to pay and use the app, and I opted for trial. But during the trial, it’s saying I need to upgrade. When I check my subscription it shows it’s Plus subscription. Somethings wrong. As I don’t want to have this problem once the trial is done, I cancelled it.
Everything else is a distant 2nd.
Ever since “old” Mint went away, Piere is the best thing going.
Trial Bait
Beware of the trial bait! The app is plagued by serious connection issues, rendering the service virtually unusable. Despite this, they will still charge you without providing a refund. Protect yourself and think twice before signing up!

Hidden annual costs
Based on reviews I signed up for Piere but at the last step they will prompt you to pay for a hidden subscription fee. The price is also not on the website. You cannot use data from a csv import you have to connect a bank feed. A poor user experience that could be improved with transparency.
