Not for experienced roguelike players.
I’ve completed the game to 19-20-19-18 Cruciball levels. It *can* be fun, but by god is it tedious and luck heavy. Higher cruciball levels tend to be a slog and have a filter gate at the first boss. I have a lot of hours in this game, but I can recommend it to anyone wanting a great roguelike experience. It only hooked me into disappointment.
Full game
I love this game it’s so amazing the cute little characters and the mobs. They’re so cute and funny. The puns are amazing. I totally suggest this game for someone who needs to sit down and relax. But you only have the forest which is totally fine. I don’t mind playing the same one over and over and over again, but if someone if you’re someone who gets bored all the time you might not want to do this unless you buy the whole game. but also it doesn’t list how much it costs which I think is a problem so if you guys could fix that that would be stellar but other than that, this is a great game.

This game has the potential to be really good, really replayable, BUT the difficulty curve is just terrible. level design is terrible. genuinely who would even want to play cruciball past level 15? it stops being fun VERY fast and i fail to see how the devs think this is enjoyable to play at times.

Amazing Game
I love this game. Only thing that needs to be added is an infinite mode after you beat the game. Or a looping system. If it has that 5/5. Regardless extremely fun
Fun and enjoyable except has one glaring issue
I really enjoyed this game. Fun characters, ideas, and mechanics. However the old bait and switch is just objectively annoying and makes me not want to entertain the notion of paying for the full game. Giving people the illusion of being a free game, only to then ask you to buy the full game after you finish ONE AREA in a supposed rouglike-type game is just scummy. I would be much more willing to consider buying the full thing if ya’ll were more upfront and not using these, at best, non transparent selling practices.
Great game with many flaws
Peglin is… so addicting. It has a good premise and fun gameplay, it’s the best game on my phone and it’s the only mobile game that doesn’t cram itself full of purchases and adverts. However it can be frustrating with certain game mechanics that are just really unfun to play against… I’ll often find myself getting too upset and having to take a break when dealing with buzzer beater type losses or misinputs because there are NO saves besides an auto save every so often.. I’d definitely recommend this game if you have some time to throw around but I’m too much of a sore loser to say I don’t regret getting hooked on it
Scratch your Peggle itch
We will probably never get Peggle 3 - and that’s OK because this game is twice as good as Popcaps mobile entry. With more depth, greater strategy, and all the powers that you know, and once we never could’ve conceived up before - make for a wonderful experience that had me coming back again and again.
Very limited content
There are only about 5 different boards to play. The whole game doesn’t seem very well thought out. Bummed I paid for it.
Great game but needs a bug fix
This game is great and challenging. However, this most recent update has a frustrating bug that doesn’t let me continue a saved game. Even after restarting the app it doesn’t properly load the save. I’m sure it will be fixed with time. When it’s fully functioning it’s one of my favorite phone/PC games to play.
Fun but expensive.
Be aware there's only 3 levels.. "Zones" it expensive on all platforms for not much of a game.. only 3 zones like that feels like a demo for £10!
It’s good, but I’ve had better
While the gameplay loop is addictive and I’m really enjoying several levels lifted straight from the peggle games, it’s lacking a bit of depth to the length and complexity of the runs. It’s great for a quick play, but don’t pay 9.99 expecting a 9.99 game. If this was 4.99 I’d give it 5 stars.

I really like this game and I think it would be even better if you added a ball maker to the game.
Torturing game
The gaming experience is absolute not fun. As a roguelike game, gameplay skill only accounts for about ten percent, while the remaining ninety percent is purely based on randomness. Even if you plan your route perfectly, the unexpected bouncing in the opposite direction instantly renders all your previous strategies a joke. Please know that randomness is no excuse to torture players. Nine out of ten rounds of this game make me furious, and even if I manage to assemble a strong build in the remaining one, there's no sense of satisfaction at all after suffering so many pains. Not mention the unfair difficulty level.Once the difficulty goes beyond level 15, it's nothing but negative feedback. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!
Great! The Trial Is Short Though
Great fun game but I beat it first try and the game is very addicting but if you don’t want to buy the full game it can be beaten way too quickly

Bright future
The game has some fun aspects, but the boss fights feel a little cheap. I think with some love and care, as well as some different game modes, you could do a lot with this game.
PLEASE nerf Pigment of Imagination
First of all, fantastic game, a shining example of what a gimmicky Roguelike should be like. But there's a few things I feel need some attention, but I feel it's best I keep it to one. Pigment of Imagination is a really unfun and outright unfair boss to fight. It mainly boils down to the paintings, you're punished for leaving them up, but you're also punished for defeating them, which is weird. I feel they should only give you 1 tick of poison before they're half-full instead of always giving you 2, that way you're encouraged to knock em out early. Also, Pigment should only repaint one at a time, instead of all 3 on the same turn, or at least cap at 2, that way it's less punishing to take them all out at once. I don't know if you're going to read this, but I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd look into this as other than this boss, and the noticeable lack of unique abilities for Spinventor, I'd say this is a perfect game,

It pretends to be a free game, then after a few rounds it kicks you out and tells you to pay for the “full game”
New update
I like the new changes but I’m on the final boss of the mines and the screen is blank/black with the faintest shadow of the stage. I can’t move or shoot and restarting just brings me back to the black screen

My favorite roguelike!
I love this game! I’ve put probably 100 hours into it, if not more, and it’s still enjoyable. Some of the balancing is a little wonky (looking at you, Roundrel) but this is definitely worth the $9 to buy the full game.
Not very fun
Not very enjoyable if a game
Controls are bad.
Great game good art fun puzzle lots of replayability. Whenevwr you need to target the upper left quarter of the screen the only control options to aim fore a right handed user to cover their screen with their finger in order to aim and the aiming arc disappears after you remove e your finger. The controls won’t allow me to start within the field of the level and pull my finger outside of that field while continuing to aim. There’s a lot of dead space on the screen there’s zero functional reason I can’t do this to aim at things. Keep the angle but since distance doesn’t matter let me aim far out or close in so I can see the arc. This is due to the fact your working with an arc from a central location and limit wha to arts of the screen are allowable to drag to aim. Just don’t limit them and you’re fine. It actually took the devs adding a limitation in code to creat me this problem where if they did less work the problem wouldn’t exist.
I HATE this level
The one level in mines is so trash! It’s the one with the purple slime and two mushrooms and I HATE it, I had the orange pegs, supper sack, 2 ballance, and multi ball every 4 orbs, and I still lost! This level is the bane of my existence.
Great pachinko style game
Had a blast playing the first stage, but like other reviews have mentioned; this app is misleading as “free”. The developer asking $10 is too steep for a mobile title.

fake free game
it’s actually a fun game but it only lets you play the first world and while i understand they need to make money as it doesn’t run ads this is a demo not a free game
remove the home bar!
Really love the game, but having the bottom "home" bar on all the time is very annoying - i keep hitting it by accident while trying to aim. since apple wont let me remove it on my end i think the developers need to do that.
Artifact checks
You updated the Requite Knight to not require single target orbs but still be punishing to builds that left them out, but the ballista militia is impossible unless you can deal a lot of damage with “attack all enemy” or “pierce” orbs. On higher difficulties you need both bomb damage increase artifacts for those to work for clearing the minions and without that you get 4 attacks on the boss if you line everything up right and those hits better be your best orbs
Get it on pc or console
It’s a fantastic game. However on the phone it doesn’t work as well, mind you I never had tried with a stylus which may make a difference. Precision is key and fat fingers don’t work well with it.

Hilariously overpowered boss
Two stars until the developer debuffs the painter lady boss, who’s nearly impossible to beat, with her minions giving them 4 devastating blows *per round*. No other boss level is so unbalanced! Thus, any game with her in it can be very short.
Good but too expensive
Fun game, would definitely buy the main game but it’s just too much, no way worth £7, 3-4 would be much more acceptable and a lot more people would buy it.

I bought the game a few months ago and played it a lot even bought the full game and finished it however I recently picked it up again and now its asking for me to buy the full game again. You can even look at my achievements to prove I did have the full game. I dont know how else to take the attention of the authors.

Easier is fun
Why take out all of the items and orbs that let a player feel powerful? Either that or there’s no chance to get them. Bring back healing and bring back lots of multi balls. I paid for the game on both mobile and pc. Maybe players should be able to play how they want?
Pay wall
Don’t get me wrong this game deserves 5 star but I just can’t give it . The graphics and art style are top notch and it is a totally unique idea / concept but the pay wall . I understand games are expensive and devs need money to keep updating and improving but surely you can add new characters for money or dlcs . I just can’t understand why you place the game behind a wall . This might aswell just be a demo . I understand that it’s a great game but I’m just unwilling to spend this on a mobile game . Sry but would still recommend the game to any one with some disposable income or cash laying around .
Really enjoying this game!
Ever since I saw it featured in a Noodle YouTube video years back I’ve been enjoying this game so much! My only gripe with it is that there isn’t more areas/levels to go through past the mines! I would love to just keep going, so here’s to hoping they add wayyy more areas to tackle in the near future!
Game does not work
Paid for the full game and it does not work at all. Stuck on a loading screen. The nice thing is, I can move the loading bar with my finger, but it doesn’t actually do anything. There’s no way to even get a refund. Complete waste of money.
fun but feels like it's missing something
as far as the concept goes, this game really nails the pachinko roguelike aspect. the art style works even on small mobile screens which is great. however i would like to see ways to upgrade orbs or the player character outside of the main gameplay loop as i would expect from any roguelike (eg permanent health upgrade, number of revivals, number of coins collected per peg). there are also areas of the ui that need changing to accommodate a touchscreen device (eg orb and relic descriptions). would love to also see some kind of enemy encyclopaedia to expand upon the world and it could easily be used to track number of kills and number of times defeated too!
Wrong Descriptions on balls/relics
There are multiple balls and upgrades that do not include the debuffs in their descriptions. For example I had to slowly learn that the first gold ball instance destroys the pegs it hits, and that the multiballs it spawns do not collect gold. Also the poker relic spawns a fire in one of the holes which is not listed.
