Best game ever
Ive played many games i think this ones the best it doesnt have any add when you click just on dragons ans you can choose wether or not you wanna watch an add for a reward it is super fun and i made my friends get it bc i love it so much ive been playing for like 6 Years so far

Please stop the gambling and TRYING to make the game “Pay to win”. The ads are constantly annoying the ACTUAL HELL out of ppl. And half of the events i feel like have been pure gambling. Ppl WILL get addicted to it and MIGHT gamble in irl. This game is great AND apart of my life, but the ads ALSO annoy me too. I have played this game abt every day (Main and alt) I hope you also get rid of the ad banner on the top bc it’s annoying. When i play on my main (My ipad) It covers some parts if the game (Like my follower thing) The gambling isnt really an issue. (bc of it rating) But how this game makes it hard for free-to-play… The gameplay is fine and probably why i like this game so much. Just please try to make it easier for free-to-play to play this game… (AND PLZ STOP USING AI IN UR ADS FOR DV3 PLZ) Also, one more thing, the ppl in this game are rly nice. This game has issues. The UI doesn't scale properly on a tablet, the UI is not on the edges of a tablet screen like it is on a phone. It's cluttered and uncomfortable and blocks your view on tablet for that reason. In addition to this, on tablet there is a horrible flashing ad banner at the top of the screen that blocks the UI and selectable actions. This needs to go. And finally, you have to watch an ad just to name your dragon? Really? This company needs to stop being lazy with AI and start caring about their game, there are problems with basic functionality and basic UI design. The pixel art is beautiful and the way you raise dragons like tamagotchi is nice, however, the issues I stated do not make me want to spend money on this app. Annoying the user with ad banners and ads for something as simple as NAMING your dragon while they couldn't eveb bother to make sure the UI is properly fitted for tablet is not something I appreciate at all, and I don't reward companies with my money in order to simply be annoyed less.
Not Again…
I really loved this game, it was one of my favorites and I played it all the time! The art and sprites are stunning and the variety of dragons is so cool! Really sad to see the company using AI now for their ads and such…I just can’t support that so I had to uninstall ;^;
Great game
Super fun and entertaining. It really pleases my ego, being able to get all the dragons I want in DV3. And for those who can’t play games with chats, totally understandable, as I can’t, it’s fine because you can just ignore it. The chat doesn’t leave any notifs.
AI used for background of Goblin Market?
I have been playing this game for nearly an entire year now. Honestly probably even two years since I know it’s been a bit. I absolutely love this game with all my heart and adore the silly little dragons that I collect. I managed to get all of the chaos/apocalyptic dragons by breeding and I myself am very proud of that achievement. Now, recently the Goblin Market was released. I saw someone just now claiming that the background art for the Goblin Market was made by AI? I really hope it’s not, because if it is I am definitely not going to continue playing. I am an artist myself and have even participated in the contests where you can draw your own dragon for it to be put in the game, so knowing that this could be true deeply hurts. For now until I get confirmation that the background art for the Goblin Market was not made by AI, I will be giving one star, otherwise I would give a full 5 stars. Original post made 2 years ago, edit made July 27th 2026: I am so massively disappointed in you Highbrow. I came back to see if the AI allegations have cleared up and if you guys stopped using it and what do you know, literally the second thing on Google to show up is someone showing how your Christmas event’s background art from a year ago was made with AI again. Guys: from the bottom of my heart do NOT support this company, don’t give them an ounce of your attention. Your precious time is better spent elsewhere. And to Highbrow: you’re only hurting yourselves when you use AI because it shows that you are willing to be cheap on producing things for this game while people pay for expensive subscriptions and in-app purchases during a time when a lot of people are struggling. I hope you realize this and change your ways in the future but safe to say I am never ever in my life playing this game ever again.
Great Game!! Needs Improvement with Players Communicating
Ive been playing this game since it first started, took a break for 2 years and just got back its a great game but its biggest flaw is the communicating system between players if the developers can add some sort of message inbox it would make the game amazing!!

Since you update the game, it always crashes. After I played for a while, it would bounce out. I love playing this game, but facing this problem makes me frustrated.
Unsafe
Loved the game but the ads at the top of the game are triggering my routers security. Suspicious activity so I’m going to uninstall. When I first started these game these were not present but after a day of play time then they appeared. Rated a 3 star because the game itself is actually really good but it’s not worth the risk.

Updated 07/26 x3 DON’T TOUCH THIS GAME IT’S SUNSETTING AND WE ARE ALL SITTING ON UNANSWERED CUSTOMER SERVICE TICKETS The publisher is making a lot of unnecessary changes and pushing a lot of monetization events before starting to fix the broken content and ensuring user experience. In fact, they are NOT ensuring user experience at all. They actively stress the players base. The volume of monetized events are causing a noticeable decline in game quality. The playground has been broken for many many months and coliseum has been promised to return for two years now. It has not returned. They aren’t delivering a completed product at this point.

It’s a lot of fun, but
Okay so-so far I’ve been having a blast and have gotten some GORGEOUS dragons despite having only been on this for a week-but I do think there needs to be more opportunities to earn dragon drink and dragems for those who don’t have or can’t afford the premium subscription. Otherwise you CAN get most of the dragons yourself or with some lucky shelter finds, trades, or a friend willing to help out-which is a HUGE and refreshing change of pace for these sorts of Games in my book
These devs hate their players
This game used to be fun. After it was bought by a new company it is now mostly pay 2 play. Now events no longer offer good rewards to those who don’t buy in-game currency, they either removed or deign to fix minigames that offer meaningful player to player interaction. it must be 7 months that the playground has been unusable and they removed the colosseum entirely. everything requires ads if you’re a f2p players, including things so basic as naming your dragons. some of these ads can be more than 2 minutes long (and its just the same 15 second ad repeating over and over). The game’s code is held together by scotch tape, thoughts and prayers. when they make a mistake they punish their players. Such as when the lottery event was broken and only doling out Darkveins. When they finally fixed the broken event not only did they offer little to no compensation, but removed the dragons players had got from the bug— but didn’t return the gems the spent on them—, then revoked darkveins from people who had traded/bought their darkveins and didn’t refund that either. Some of these were paid for with diamonds, the in game currency you have to pay real money for, without even a hint of reimbursing them. The whole event is a scam meant to siphon dragems out of the economy and force players to spend money, and ended up becoming a diamond siphon as well. (not to mention the lottery broke again hours later). The devs punish players for their own mistakes and buggy code while trying to force DV3 down our throats with poorly made ai-generated ads. F2P players have pretty much no content and are only valued by this company insofar as they attract whales to it. If you’re a f2p player, you are not welcome in this game. you are merely tolerated, so you can generate ad revenue of course, but they won’t devote any time or rewards to you, silly rabbit. If you’re a whale, not matter how much time and money you invest, you’re still not guaranteed to get anything as they maliciously invented an arbitrarily competitive environment rife with alt accounts and HB’s tester bots that snipe rewards, and incentivise you to spend ever more on their broken, neglected, boring game.
It’s fun but…
It takes a very long time to grow all of your dragons mine took 2 days but the visuals are beautiful and the 8 bit style add the arcade feel but the pacing and how long it take for things to happen is long
misleading and pay to win elements
while i thoroughly enjoyed my initial experience with this game and the lack of invasive ads & in app purchases, after you raise your first adult dragon you’ll be forced to watch an irritating amount of ads and deal with banner advertisements on your screen unless you want to pay $5 CAD a month, not even a one time purchase like most games. while this game was promising and enjoyable at first, it turned out to be an average run of the mill soulless mobile game that just thrives on ad revenue and money; pretty disappointing when they make it seem like there’s no ads for your first couple of days playing. i’d rather just know what i’m getting into from the beginning.

Devs refuse to fix a massive bug that has existed for 7 months because it only effect the NA server
Pretty much the title, they’ve ignored a bug that has disabled a feature of the game for 7 months now, because it only affects the North American server and not the East Asia server. They refuse to acknowledge it and when they respond to a ticket about it (after an entire month) all they have to say is “The game has been updated many times since this ticket, please try using it again and if it’s still broken submit a ticket”. So if you love feeling ignored and not even acknowledged then this might be the game for you

The first time I played this game I felt was in heaven.
Impossible to 100% for f2p
After playing a good few months and chatting with the community, I am disappointed to say that this game is IMPOSSIBLE to 100% as a free to play player. -Monthly special forms: you get one a month for free, and you don’t get to choose. After the month is over it is impossible to breed these specific special forms. The only way to obtain the adult version of these special forms is if someone wants to sell theirs in a rare (yearly?) auction event. You cannot obtain the young version of these dragons, which is needed to 100% the ‘Cosmic Album,’ that tracks the dragons you’ve obtained and their different stages of life. Therefore, impossible. And also punishes players that just get the game, because once a monthly dragon has been rerun once, they are gone for good at this current stage. -Over-reliance on gacha events with low odds to get the event dragon: you are given one for free after about 50 tries at the gacha. However, the event will end before you get a breeding pair if you do not obtain one from the gacha. This is an issue because sometimes you need a breeding pair to breed a special form of this new event dragon (and the chance of breeding this special form after the event ends are impossible, or very very low.) As a f2p player, it is possible to complete 90% of the game. But being physically impossible to beat the remaining 10% is extremely irksome for someone like me. Another thing that annoys me is the fact you must watch an ad in order to name your dragon. I get the game needs money, but this just seems scummy. At least allow us to rename a dragon for free 3 times a day, or give out special items for it. Some ideas to make this game viable for f2p players: Rerun events like crazy. Even if the chances remains low, at least we get more chances to obtain event dragons. Rerun all monthly dragons alongside the new monthly dragon, and give one of them for free. For example, have all of the previous October monthly dragons available during the month of October, and allow a f2p to pick one for free alongside a free new monthly dragon. Allow f2p players to watch ads for gems, the rare currency of them game. Maybe 3 a day, after watching 3 ads. I am deleting the game, which is such a shame considering I love the art style. It’s also a shame for you considering the fact I actually will spend money on a game I like and want to support. After chatting with the community is seems this game also does not listen to the player base. Not good because you want a player base to like you, those are your main money makers!

Theres 500 bugs they refuse to acknowledge such as playground in NA. Their greed is so bad everything is p2w unless you get ahold of desireable dragons early game. It is getting harder for new players to even play it anymore. They are a game based around pixel art but used AI for one of their events?
Minigames
Great overall game! I enjoy the dragon designs and collecting them, but I have a problem with some of the minigames that let you get trophies! In the avoid fire minigame the controls are finicky, aren’t easy to maneuver and don’t feel very good; making it much harder than it needs to be to avoid the fireballs (combined with the dragon having a weirdly big hitbox). in the up to the sky minigame the blue line/rope you press to launch the egg is too thin to see making it difficult for people with issues in their sight to decipher when they should tap, especially when the game gets faster, and it can sometimes bug out and not register when you tap.

Literally lore abt me
This game might be kinda dead, BUT it’s pretty fun if you forget abt the ads. Also irl products are pretty good for lore! (Even tho I can’t read whatever language is in the cards/book) I really like this game! It’s like Gag, you log in and make your dragon happy, then go offline! The ppl in the game are also nice! I DON’T recommend this game if wanting to be active for HOURS. (I can be active for hours lol) It has events too! They do repeat time to time, but it’s fine! Money hungry and doesn’t listen to players
Many events are money hungry with heavy emphasis on lottery, gatcha, and other chance based mechanisms free to play members are restricted in how many chances they can get while paying members can buy more. Players have repeatedly asked for changes to events to be less predatory as well as for hb to fix game systems which they have added and then ignored such as the playground. There is also heavy fomo in this game which hb encourages by refusing to rerun many event dragons. A number of these cannot be traded between players as well making them entirely inaccessible to members.

Collection menu
PLEASE give the collection menu its own place again. It doesn’t make sense for it to be hidden inside another menu. The game is Dragon Village COLLECTION. It should be easy to look at your collection. I understand that the square is important to players (though I personally am indifferent to it and only really go there if a dragon’s personality I’m aiming for requires me to) but it was still easily accessible thru the exploration page. If it’ll have its own spot in the page bar at the bottom again, then I don’t understand why it was ever changed just to revert almost back to the same and make it more awkward to look at your collection.

Super fun, it’s easy to get new dragons and it’s fun to trade. It does however randomly kick me off and I have to reopen the app, it wasn’t that bad but it’s gotten worse to the point it’s unplayable, please fix!!

I understand needing ads for the game, but is it necessary for the entire banner to cover up the information I have at the top. I can’t even see how many drink dragon drinks I have or the nurture of my eggs because the AD banner completely covers it up. I also think it’s kind of ridiculous that I have to watch an ad just so I can name my dragon! You’re making it so annoying that at this point you feel like you’re forced to buy ads!! I also spent the 499 and for some reason and something went wrong and to get a hold of you guys takes forever!! Not happy!!
Love the game
Great game definitely satisfying collecting all the dragons. Only down side is new update lost some dragons from mail and town squares are all the same right now. (Know this will be fixed soon just leaving the bug report)

Love it when I can get in the game. A few times I couldn't get on though... It would just keep me on the loading screen. On the day of this review I can't get on at all I would love to try the fishing event... but no. Ever since I updated the game... no.
I’m obsessed!!
I wish the monthly dragons came back more often. I’ve missed a few I wish I hadn’t. Other than that I love the huge variety of dragons there are and the different personalities you can match to a dragon, collecting them all sucks sometimes but it’s still fun.
These developers do not care.
So there was an update not too long ago that kept crashing my app every time I went and opened it. Now before this update, the game was working just fine prior; and I understand that some updates do this and that the devs are already working on a solution. But when I reached out to them after I was able to login again, they go and blame this happening on MY phone. This was extremely upsetting to hear especially because there was a special event going on and I missed more than half of it due to their major bug in the latest update. I've been playing this game for quite a while now and have leant my support to these game devs over this time, so their response to me reaching out to them about this was unprofessional and discouraging to say the least.

Disappointed
As a long time player, I am writing this heartbroken. This company went from being free to play, to having everything locked behind a paywall. The most recent event caused a huge uproar and they didn’t say anything in response. Now they expect people to pay $750 a year for VIP shop (and it resets yearly!!!!) As someone who is VIP, I am officially done spending. DVC listen to your players!!!
Fantastic Game, But…
This game is great, however it has a few bugs- I have had the game crash multiple times on me at random- and this game is not very newcomer friendly. There are not a lot of options for new players to accumulate dragon drinks to grow their dragons and they take far too long to incubate.
