Great App
Very user friendly
Awful app
The app is clunky and not user friendly at all. I can only take one class a week. Everytime I go to sign up for the class takes 10 minutes just to sign in because I don’t log in often. I have to renter my bar code. Eventually I get in and have set my location as wheeler every week to only have to go through the whole process of choosing a location every week for one class or I can make a call to get signed up. How convenient is that? It isn’t, when I used to be able to arrive at the Y and walk into class. Another poorly implemented plan rolled out by the Y.
Review
I have been attending the Wheeler YMCA since 9/24. The staff are all amazingly helpful whether computer issues or class information, signing up for classes, etc. I primarily take classes and the instructors are top notch. I get a good workout that fits my age and condition. The pool is clean and they make certain that the lifeguards are attentive. I tell everyone I know about this facility, how much I’m getting out of the exercise. And socially, it’s been great for me. I retired 5/24 and I need the people interaction. The YMCA meets all of my needs!
Hale Y Class scheduling
Easy to sign up; need to be able to cancel closer to class time if unwell- without penalty. Thank you.
Easy class bookings
Appreciate how easy it is to book classes in the go.
Good but a small fix needed
The app seems great but there’s a bug where every time I finish an exercise it pauses the music I’m listening to. I’m guessing because it plays a little video thumbnail as an example of how to do the exercise. It’s a really groove killer.
Water in Motion
Best water exercise class Ever!!! Please have one daily or at least 3 times a week!!!
Useful (but I haven’t done much with it)
I use this app almost exclusively to browse and book classes. This feature in particular helps keep me motivated to show up and participate. I have some hesitation in awarding full stars because I haven’t seen posted when classes open up to book. … I may be missing something that is apparent to others, but I’ve settled on making reservations a day in advance and that’s reliable. As for everything else, I don’t know. The workout feature could be awesome- and is probably more important to some users. I just have very little context for evaluation because I don’t use it.
Great
It’s easy to use
Easy to book- when it’s working :)
Love the app to book classes. However in the last couple weeks there have been a lot of glitches when booking. I know it’s being worked on…but when booking certain classes, every second counts. 😂
YMCA app helpful
I like to use the app to find classes. You can see all the classes offered each day and book them on the app. I keep the app on my first page on my phone so it is quick and easy. No more googling the Y and looking for the correct page to search for classes.
User friendly app
Ease of access to my account. I can schedule classes on a whim (around my schedule). Super convenient. User friendly app.
Great App!
This App is easy to navigate.
Fantastic Y
No complaints here. The renovation last summer/fall was done so very well. Kudos to the staff and Director.
