Web portal !!
Access the data through a PC web browser, with expanded data for analysis and insight. This graph is inconvenient to use on a phone. The old app was simpler and more convenient to use on a phone, but now analyzing logs is difficult on a phone.
App discreta servizio clienti pessimo
La app è discreta, andrebbe migliorata con il log di errori per fare diagnostica. Customer service imbarazzante sono ormai 32 giorni che la batteria è Ko, fanno pagare assistenza poi spariscono. Vergognoso

…. Preferivo la versione precedente. In una schermata c’era tutto. Ora bisogna scorrere. Inoltre, con la raffigurazione della canalizzazione dell’energia, risultava più empatica.
Charger Integration sehr schlecht
Die Integration des Chargers ist schlecht. Die Konfiguration ist schon mehrfach für Tage ausgefallen. So lässt sich der Charger nicht vernünftig brauchen. Der Support ist dürftig, langsam und nicht immer fähig in Deutsch zu kommunizieren.

Customer Support?
There is no ability to change operating modes in the app and no way to contact customer support. I’m not sure why they have a customer support section. I’ve tried opening three customer support cases and they just get closed out after a few days without any communication or resolution.

Ottima app che fa quello che deve in modo intuitivo e leggibile. Però non è possibile che dopo l’ultimo aggiornamento, devo ogni volta che apro l’app devo rifare l’accesso con user e password! Fate qualcosa PF

Da circa 70 giorni l’app dice che la batteria é offline quando non é così (lampeggia di luce bianca) Allo stesso orario l’app non risponde più.
Not too bad
Not much control over the battery in app, so you have to login to the device via webpage to do the good stuff. Would be awesome if they added widget support so at a glance I can see what everything is doing without going to the app.

Jag gillar den gamla appen mycket bättre. En bättre visuell visning hur batteriet laddades kontra förbrukning/solenergi. Skulle vilja ha tillbaks den.
App won’t let me login 25% of the time.
Constantly having to renter my password information. Sometimes it will remember me sometimes it won’t, and that is if it lets me on the app at all after I have tried to log in.
“Impact” page gone!
I miss the Impact page! It was fun tracking the streaks, and it was lowkey motivating to try and save power at the end of the day to keep a streak going.

App is not showing the home consumption. App does not work well after all.
Nuova versione accattivante
Bella la nuova versione. Apprezzo gli aggiornamenti! Tuttavia sarebbe auspicabile avere gli widget per iOS così da avere tutto sotto controllo e a portata di mano.
Warnung bei Ausfall/Standby fehlt!
Wenn die Sonnenbatterie auf „Roter Kreis“ schaltet (standby, um Schaden an der Anlage zu vermeiden), fehlt jeder Hinweis auf den Status der Anlage in der App. Dazu: keine Push-Nachricht, kein Mail, keine Info! Bitte Funktion für aktive Mitteilung des Ausfalls der Anlage einbauen!!
Nach dem letzten Update etwas lahm
Nachdem das erneute Einloggen nach dem Update etwas mühsam war, funktioniert die APP zwar, aber das Ganze ist sehr „lahm geworden“

Overall, wonderful app. If you see something that needs improvement, please give specific feedback to help the developer team fix what ails you. They are very responsive and helpful. Then do them a solid and update your review.
Was great. Not working
The app was awesome when I first got it. Now, It has since stopped working. 3 weeks now of no data.

L’app è chiara e ben realizzata (specialmente l’ultima release). Magari sarebbe utile (per chi ha Sonnen come fornitore di energia) avere un comparatore per conoscere il risparmio economico grazie all’autoconsumo

I think it is time to develop a good Ipad version !!
App gets worse and worse
The views were decent and with each update, the data I want to see requires more and more clicks to find. You are not focusing on the important things from a user perspective. Can’t easily get to former day history with all data at a glance.

Like the update but prefer the old Live View
I actually like the interface for the most part and don’t mind the changes but the new live view isn’t my favorite. At a glance I could see the energy numbers, power flow, percentages, and more. This one it seems like I have to look around, scroll around, and that it’s designed more to look fancy than to give information. The graphic doesn’t give any numbers anymore. Would also love if you made it native to the iPad (and macOS) so I could use it there. It’s be amazing on a bigger screen. A way to integrate other circuits into it with sensors so I could monitor energy usage not on the battery would be great too.
Ansicht
Bei den historischen Daten wird auf dem Handy nicht die ganze Breite angezeigt. Die Auswahl für das Jahr erscheint nicht vollständig. Vergleiche zu Vorjahren können nicht erstellt werden. Der Link bei der Batterieübersicht zu den Bedienungsanleitungen führt nicht zur deutschen Website, sondern auf die englischsprachige Website.
Historische Daten
In der Ansicht der historischen Daten kann man nur mit dem Links-Pfeil in die Vergangenheit blättern. Der Rechts-Pfeil funktioniert nicht, man kommt also nur mehr durch Wechseln der Ansichten wieder vorwärts.
I love my sonnen battery!
I love the layout of the new app. There’s a lot more information at my fingertips now. I really like the color scheme as well. It makes it much easier for my old eyes to see it. Thank you for making the world a greener place for my children.
L’App non funziona
Mi trovavo benissimo con l’App precedente, ho scaricato la nuova ma mi si blocca e riesco a vedere solo la parte superiore della schermata iniziale. Ho provato a cancellarla e ricaricarla su due diversi iPhone e un IPad, stesso risultato. Fate qualcosa perché dal 30 gennaio non potrò più monitorare il mio sistema😡 Siamo arrivati al 1º febbraio , la vecchia App non funziona più e io non riesco a monitorare il mio impianto. Che devo fare? Al 5 febbraio ancora non riesco a monitorare il mio impianto. Tra l’altro la mia è l’unica recensione alla quale lo sviluppatore non abbia risposto. Complimenti per l’interessamento!

Great when it works
This app is very useful when it is working. Locks up frequently and the only option is to delete and download again. Have reinstalled about 8 times over the course of a few months.
Pessima
Da alcuni giorni accedo e ho una schermata bianca. Disistallata e istallata di nuovo l’app non funziona. La precedente era decisamente meglio sia dal punto di vista grafico che informativo. Lavorare per migliorare il servizio grazie!!!
Hat noch Potential
Bitte bei der Liveansicht die Werte direkt bei den Icons anzeigen, ähnlich wie bei der ‚alten‘ App. Bei meinem iPhone 14 Pro muss ich nach unten scrollen um die Werte zu sehen. Herzlichen Dank!
New isn’t always great
Wife still has the old version on her phone and I love it much better than the new one. I already read another review that states what I am saying.
Constant malfunction
This app is terrible. If you go backwards in time to make comparisons it will not let you then go forwards again Also— it skips data!!!! If you are looking at 2023 and scroll backwards it goes to 2021 and then 2019. No way to look at 2022 and 2020. Horrible. Does same thing with weeks and months.
A step back
Lots of colours, but not as user friendly as the old app. Slow.
Fancy graphics do not mean a better app!
my sonnen, the previous app, was a picture of elegant simplicity, showing system information in two quickly viewed windows (Live state & Energy Analysis). No scrolling, no multiple taps, easily understood even on a smaller iPhone screen. Do NOT sunset what is now the older app. The new app may be cute, but to a knowledgeable user or an engineer it is a step backwards.
Doesn’t work
This app used to work before an update. Now this app doesn’t work at all. It always says I’m not using any energy when I’m always using energy. It says my battery is being always at 100 percent. I hope this app is wrong and I’m not pulling from the grid. Overall this battery is a waste of money. Not worth the money at all more worries than there should be.

bring the old UI back
The old my sonnen app had a simple interface - almost minimalistic. The Live State view was easy to look at and understand. At a quick glance, you were able to see how the energy was flowing and how much. With this new app, not so much. I don’t care for the huge colorful icons. Now to see any metric, I need to glance down the screen. I’ll be using the old app until I can’t anymore.
