The stories are super fun so far, but I’d love some easier ways to get gems and character tokens. I wish we could trade hint keys for either of these things because I mostly get keys that I don’t need from doing the homework

If you’re not forking out cash then you’re not going to have a good time. You’re given very, very few opportunities to raise affection WITHOUT paying with gems that you hardly ever receive (for free). And the amount you have to spend in for the better options is absurd. This game is rigged. Ridiculous. And a waste of time. The visuals might be nice and the tease of suggestive dialogue/content is cute but will NEVER be worth how blatantly money hungry the developers are

Slight problems imo
So I get that the gems are a problem, but I finished the story just basically taking whatever options were available and after I finished the story, I tried to go to the dorms and visit them, but it tells me I have to complete a certain part of the story. It basically reset after I finished it so I would have to replay that episode just to visit them in their dorm or something. Also, it’s really hard to gain affection without gems, so not many options are unlocked for us. I had to take the normal ending route, I assume that it resets are you can keep playing just to pick the same free choices to level up affection? I’m not really sure, but there’s not much to do :,))
Best game I’ve ever played!
I love this game! It’s art is amazing the characters are top notch and the story is the best! I got this game just to see what it was and now I’m obsessed!! First day of playing it and I’m so far through!!
This game may seem good but..
This game is good at first glance but there are some underlying problems. First of all the gems. Everything cost way too much and without them the game is boring. With the love interest the male one get favored the whole game, there unfair treatment you barely get anything with Fey. Rip wlw.

I love this game, it’s very fun, and the art is absolutely stunning. However, what I don’t like is how you’re automatically a female. As someone who prefers boy-love situations or games, I find this as a slightly annoying thing. I’d recommend an option to be a female or male in the settings. Another thing is the gems. Like other games, like Episode, the gems are quite difficult to get, especially when you have to wait like 15 minutes for 5 gems, and to just take off someone’s clothes is 120. Of course, there are ways to get gems, such as quizzes and whatever, but none of them have a good gem price unless you need to buy something around that point! As for pros, it’s rather easy to understand, I like the good grammar, and there is little to no lag or glitches. 9/10.

Здорово, что есть русский язык, очень понравилось, хоть и не до конца логичные предложения, но общий смысл понятен. Но!! Очень дорого покупать ответы за кристаллы. Это ужасно, только начинаешь играть и тут по 55-60-120 кристаллов надо выкидывать?! Просто где их брать?? Я не хочу на это тратить деньги, рекламы тоже не досмотришься, какие-то задания есть, которые на моем телефоне не работают, не понимаю этого. Снизить бы стоимость за ответы и было бы лучше.
it’s alright, better then expected
so i like the concept of this game, although basic, and it has good characters, story, dialogue, art, etc. but i am dissatisfied with the gem system, i can’t make any choices unlesss i have gems, and when i by accidentally click an option i lose gems without being able to get them back. i thought i could fix this by exiting the stage as they don’t save episode progress but this apparently doesn’t apply to gem usage, even if i quit halfway through i don’t get my gems back… why take away my progress if you keep my gems anyways? pls fix this! to make it more balanced, allow players to go back 1 time during each episode to make sure people don’t take advantage of this system. thanks for reading. again, pretty decent game, not great not terrible but definitely improvement to be made !!

Too many ads and when I tried to do stuff to get more gems it never worked! At least make the price cheaper for options.

Gems cost a lot and you always need a lot for any of the good decisions you want to make. So you’ll be spending LOTS of money to do what you want to do. I tried downloading one of the games to get free gems it doesn’t work also says I’m age restricted for the other one. I’m 25 lol.

I love this game it’s fun and I can play this during the day anytime I love the story and the character designs and how you can date whoever you want and you get different endings it never gets boring!
No pronoun options
When I played i was hoping to be able to have he/him pronouns and still be able to date the guy characters but there are literally NO PRONOUN OPTIONS AT ALL

Too many ads and you need real money to play…
The character art is beautiful and the story is alright. I love games like this that have good stories. It's definitely intriguing but there are a few things that annoy me quite a lot. Firstly ads. Way too many ads and you will need to pay 5.99 to get rid of them. However, even if you pay that to remove the ads you still get ads so that's a waste of money. To be able to enjoy a date you have to pay money for it, simple as that. You have to buy stuff for that particular character otherwise you are stuck, there is an option that says I want to be alone, but you cannot click on it. So you either buy the stuff to continue or get stuck. I also don't like that the story pushes you to do things that you don't want, like they never really give you an option to not get involved with some of the characters. It's an automatic yes to do whatever you want with my body and it's annoying because I only care for one person and I want to do everything for that one person but the game doesn't allow me to just focus on one. You have to be with all of them… so this game cannot be played without having real money. Many good options to further your relationship with your person but only with the crystals which you have to pay money for. Also another issues is not being able to choose the gender you want. So if you want boy love, it's not happening. So unless you have a lot of money to burn and like sleeping around, then I don't recommend this game to you.
Like the game but I’m not getting what I payed for
I bought some gems and the starter pack but I never got them. I got charged for them but they aren’t in my game. The game is fun. Honestly wish they had a gender neutral or male opinion but hey that’s what imagine is for.

The game is buggy. I bought gems and a costume and it essentially ate my money. It never gave me the gems not did it gave me to costume. Such a shame since I thought it was a pretty good looking game.

Paid $6 to win
I spent $6 to remove ads on Twisted Lovestruck… as a whole, this game feels a little too easy compared to other storytaco games that I enjoyed. (I got the hidden ending in less than a dozen playthroughs?!) I’m still playing to unlock all of the illustrations and spicy moments, but it feels a bit out of order. You just have to make the right choices (and spend some gems) to get the true endings lol. Gems are easy to come by with the ad removal “cheat.” On the romance side of things… I fell in love with Fel in the character previews of the app description and I got emotionally attached to all the characters so now I’m literally addicted! Thank you devs for the wonderful app <3
Brah you cant play without paying
Genuinely you need to either spend a week mining for gems to play every three chapters bc of the date thing. It’s so annoying. The characters and good and all but who cares I’m not paying for this stupid stuff

I guess I was just a little upset I couldn’t figure out how to go to previous episodes and the gem prices are high in the episodes.

To get any one to like you, you need TONS of gems and unless you want to log in everyday for some gems for a month. Your not going to be able to afford to get anyone to like you.
Overall, a very otome otome game.
The game is pretty average. It serves its purpose as an otome game, and something to play if one is real bored. Major problem is grinding. I don't think there is anything wrong with making it a little difficult to get endings. Mystic messenger does it quite well. But in order to even get one ending in this game, you need go watch ads and play the game over and over again. It’s incredibly annoying, and definitely not for a person, who is impatient. Even one side story need a entire session of grinding and it really not worth it, because of how short they are and the ANNOYING ADS after each story. Another major trouble is ads. It not too bad as other games, but it hard to do anything and especially grind if I have to watch a stupid ad after every story. God, everything would be better rid if you get rid of the ads after every story and just keep them for earning extra stuff. Trust me, there will be plenty of people who will willingly watch the ads for grinding. No need for stupid ads just for a 5 second story. Story. Average. Like the concept. Like the use of mythology. It catered to the MC a lot, as a person who like complex lore, didn't like that. Lots of fan service. Not that it matters much. It’s an otome game. It is definitely a game you would play once and drop it. Characters. Honestly, they’re okay. They’re charming and I admit getting attached to one character, but in the long run, it doesn't make me want to come back to this game. Overall, if you’re a patient/persistent person, it a grind and then drop game. However, I did notice an event tab in the menu. I DEFINITELY don't believe this game will be more than average, but I am going to keep this game just to see if fne devs would do something it. If you’re for some quick fan service, eh you can still get it without grinding. Looking for a long-lasting otome game? Not the one as of current.

Don’t bother
TL;DR the game is uncomfortable, expensive, and overall just poorly written. This game has great art and music, and looks well made on the surface, but there’s huge flaws. I don’t think it’s worth it to play because of those flaws… 🫤. I also don’t intend to hurt the developers/artists by writing this review, but I hope to warn players of what to expect before diving in out of curiosity and the pretty art. So - I only had this app installed for a day, and I spent over $20 just to get 5 chapters in. I’ve never spent so much on an otome game before. While the game gives you opportunities to earn gems without paying (ad watching, progress rewards, surveys) what you earn doesn’t even put a dent into how much you’re *spending gems* to progress at all! The gems are primarily used to gain relationship points with the dateable npcs, and so you get points by paying for the “correct” dialogue option. However, I noticed that If I chose one of the free dialogue options, my relationship points *decreased*, or I learned next to nothing of the story. So essentially I had to spend $3/$5 for gems every chapter to make any real progress. I find that super predatory in nature. Speaking of dialogue, the quality control is horrible. It’s like the company didn’t care to localize to english properly. All the characters names were constantly misspelled, and had almost incomprehensible dialogue at times. I don’t fault the team for not being english speaking, but for how much *money* this game requires to play, and based on a 4.5 star rating (which I assume means they’re getting enough players) they could have totally afforded a translation team IMO. This game is horny right out of the gate, to the point that its actually kind of uncomfortable. I would say this is not at all suitable for 12 year olds to play. I’m 29yrs old and was hella uncomfortable with the pacing. I had “mixed up” (aka slept with) with all the characters within those 5 chapters, but learned next to nothing about the over-arcing storyline. It’s uncomfortable because I would literally bump into one of the characters and the dialogue immediately expected you to “mix up” with them, and they even wrote the characters responses as if they were aware and uncomfortable. The dialogue is *everywhere* and not in a good way. This game has some potential, and I really wanted to like it. I downloaded because it has a female dateable npc which most otome games don’t have, and the trailer I saw prior made the storyline very compelling. The art is lovely and what little I got from the story, it did leave me wanting more. I just can’t justify playing it because of the above mentioned though… Anyway, play at your own risk, and expect to be paywalled often if you want any progression. If you’re okay with constantly doing surveys, watching 30 second ads every 3 minutes, and waiting till you’ve accumulated 1k gems, then this is probably a game you’ll like. As a last mention - I would rather had payed $20 to access this game and progress as I pleased like other otome games (like on steam etc) but this way seems to get the dev money so I doubt they’ll switch to that method of release.

I just got to the first date, But I can’t MOVE THE STORY ALONG because of a 500 GEM SHIRT! Like, It will NOT let you move on without the shirt. The only way you can get the Gems is to either sign in every day, watch a TON of ads, hope you get some in the mailbox, and/or buy them. Every time I find one of these “anime boy dating games” that I want to play, it’s always the same. Don’t even bother with this game.
Wish for less Money grabbing
I like the game I think it’s pretty neat. Enjoy most of the characters. My main issue currently is harvesting gems to be able to make choices. I absolutely hate games that make you have to pay to pick options that will increase your romance with a specific character. I would much rather grind to get gifts or to unlock special secret things or DLC, but they have the only option to increase your romance with the character behind a pay wall is very annoying. ( or to sit through ads which they also put 5 to 15 minute breaks in so you can’t just keep watching ads to get gems so you’re wasting a lot of your time waiting to play the game. ) Half my time in this app is watching ads just so I can get enough gems to select options that will make characters like me more and that’s fine every once in a while but when it’s every single one or every single other one, it’s a little too much and it’s money grabbing because there’s no way you’re going to get all the way through this game without spending some money and if you’re going to advertise a free game, actually make the game beatable as free and not to pay to Play. ( and yes, I’m counting watching thousands of ads as pay to play because you do get money when you play ads in this game. That is how you were making an income through this.) I would rather pay the $10 for full game then to deal with the in app purchases. I would much rather pay to play the game as a whole instead. I wish more people took Mystic messenger as a basis to how they should have their game function. I am able to get through this game without having to pay for choices and it doesn’t tell you what choices are for who until after you select them by hearts in this game, you get hints which I do like the concept of hints but it’s another thing that if you want to use a bunch of them you’re going to have to grind for Jim’s because to get keys to get hints. You have to use gems so it’s the cycle. anyways, that’s my ramble. Wish this game was less money grubby more actually game. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
