Family Connection
This app was originally started almost 3 years ago by my then 17 year old daughter; to keep track of the craziness that is Senior year..we all liked how it looked & then stayed for how well it functions❣️We love it, and it keeps us connected as a family if 5. We would love to upgrade; but as of now it’s providing everything we need at home and most especially on the go❣️
Everything you do, you have to pay
I don’t appreciate apps that make you pay for every little thing you want to do! I couldn’t even see the whole days of the month unless I paid money or do anything except for the current weeks. This app is a waste of time and can’t believe they advertise these stupid apps!
Great app!
I love how organized it is, the layout of the app, and how accessible the free version is! You can still use the app easily without the subscription and I love it. I also love all the cute other features like the daily questionnaires and little things organizer. *One* complaint however. I wish you could remove the national holidays. Our group events blend in with them and can make them hard to find. Days with multiple holidays can also make it look very cluttered, and a big example of this is August 3rd. It has 5 holidays and there’s not even room for our events.
I’ve had the app for a few months
I’ve used this app for a few months with my bestfriend and recently it’s been so glitched out and non effective considering I pay for the extra features just for NOTHING to work. I click on the full calendar to add something and a pop up about the new features comes up half loaded and doesn’t let me dismiss it and then when I add something to that calendar by the weekly portion IT WONT SAVE IT, won’t even let me off the screen. Great up until recently..
Very limited if using the free version
If using the free version, the app is very limited and I am not liking the organization and view options (weekly). I’m sure the paid option will be better. May delete this if I can find something better.
Great calendar app
Love that you can share with family and everyone syncs and see what’s happening what’s coming. It would be great if able to have more than one reminder with free version but overall great app
Not worth it
I won’t download this app. It’s not a free app. The features in the free version are practically useless. The view of the colander is weekly view which again is useless. Charges for the paid version are high and not worth it.
Sooo close to perfection
If I could color code different events that would be AWESOME!!!! Yet there’s only the colors of the family members available. It helps with work schedules and such- but combined family events or important things- we need more color
Way too many in app purchases
This app has an absurd amount of in app purchases. I’m not paying 5 bucks a month to view my calendar in month view. There are apps that do everything this app does and more for free.
Functional but annoying
The utility of this app is great for scheduling family reminders, but for some reason it feels the need to constantly send me notifications that I can schedule things on this scheduling app. I want to disable notifications so it will stop sending me useless messages but then I wouldn’t get the notifications of the things I am actually scheduling.

ZERO STARS - Total RIP OFF !!
Do NOT spend your money on this app. There are WAY better calendar sharing apps out there. I did the 7-day free trial, along with various others, to see which could do what I needed. I wanted to see 5 x different calendars in a ‘landscape’ view with overlapping activities in hourly columns. Cubbily couldn’t do it. So I faffed around trying to see if it could offer an alternative, it couldn’t. The app design is far to cumbersome and has zero efficiency, let alone organisation appeal. The WORST part was when I forgot to cancel the trial period, on day 7, without any notification or warning, they charged me £49.99!! Exactly two-minutes after the transaction was charged to my card I sent a message via Apple App Store to request a refund. Two days later I got a reply that they declined my request to a refund because they said I had used the app. I complained again, telling them that I hadn’t, but more importantly, that the app could NOT do what I wanted it to do! I cannot use it, won’t use it, and will never use it!! So why should I pay £50 for nothing! I DO NOT WANT ACCESS TI THE APP. Plus they can check that I did not use it after about day 3 of the trial period. The refused and refused and refused. Shocking behaviour from a trading standards point of view, and from a customer relations perspective. I will shout from rooftops to make people aware of the unethical business practices of this company. Save yourself a ton of money, and stay away from CUBBILY. Claudia van D. Great app, only two downsides
This is a great app for organising my family’s week. The only two downside’s I see is I’m unable to change the public holidays to represent Australia and not being able to add in activities to repeat everyday,week,month,etc. Other then that it seems quite handy and seems like it will be helpful in organising all our lives a little more.
Looks cute and good, but a major flaw
What are the recent updates even for? The description just says the same things over and over, while these flaws below still exist. Stop adding more things!!! Fix what's needed first. :( The app resets the TIME and DATE button whenever I'm trying to edit an event, to the most random time possible-such as January 1970(???) or 2000. And the time of the day is also often wrong. When selecting a date from a calendar view, regardless of a default weekday start setting it still shows S-M-T-W-T-F-S. It's really confusing as I'd like to see Monday at the start. When I click according to the weekdays as shown, it somehow registers as if the calendar has Monday as the start!!! It offsets everything and, going back to the problem above, when I am trying to edit it would again reset to another date! It's so frustrating... Lastly, the US holidays can't be hidden on calendar view and I have to go into accounts, edit to not show them, and save. It's such a hassle... At least I don't have to look at them, though. I hope the issues can be resolved soon! Some of these are still not addressed which makes me think you don't read the reviews, but still enjoying the app for what it is... mostly.
Meh
I don’t like that I can’t add events or work shifts without that person being in the family. I just want to add everything and have my family see it.

We finally found an easy free calendar to use for a family of 4 (two kids in high school). Makes our life so much easier. Great job!
Have to pay which is dumb
Once again. The number one feature I’d like to use on an app like this (work shift feature) I have to pay for!!! Jesus why is it so hard to find a good calendar app that’s FREE?! Money money money. All anyone ever wants. Christ on a stick man.
Great for family
The app is great as everyone can have their own picture and colour to help sort out members. A monthly view that doesn’t cost $80 subscription for the year would be good option
Compatible with ipad, but the screen is tiny.
I had the app on my phone and I recently got a iPad, I hoped to use this app on my iPad instead of my phone so I have a bigger and clear view of mine and my friends schedules. But it shows up like a iPhone, the screen appearance is tiny and I can’t make it any bigger. Would be so great if there was a version on here completely compatible with iPad

This app is such a lifesaver for sharing busy schedules! No more text threads and “I didn’t see that”. Everything is right on the schedule for the family to see
Monthly View is a Premium Feature
Is fine that App Developers want to get some money back from the investment. But offering a free calendar app where the monthly view is premium is insulting.
Cubbily max amount
This app is so good in every way, it is very functionable and easy to use but it is not supportive of large families. I have 4 siblings, and this app only supports families of 6 or under, which doesnt work for our family. Please increase the family amount. Otherwise, love the app.

Widgets really need improvement. If we can get a task view widget + a to do list widget. The widget options are really low.

This is a good app for doctors appointments and other things to get your loved ones and give family updates
Only 1 day view!
I thought this was going to be a really good app until I realised that there is no monthly view. It only shows you day you are on. It is pretty much useless for looking at future events. Deleted.
Great for family organization
I love this app. It is so user friendly, I like that I can color code each family member and I really like the layout. My only issue is that the app is not formatted for use on iPad. I downloaded the app to my iPad so I would have access to the calendar on there as well and it shows up really small.
One change I’d like to see
Full expansion when you push the drop down button on individual days. Or just a full view without the need for expansion. It’s easier to scroll. And annoying that when you click the expansion button, it opens a new pop up window instead of just expanding. It’s actually really annoying, bc I have to go out and go into another day to compare things (I’m using this for my kids homeschool schedule). I would really appreciate this change in the next update.
Life changing
Really helps get organized. We love the questions of the day and they get the whole family involved. It’s the highlight of my day to read everyone’s answers. The design is clean, bright and the ability to customize the colors make it visually pleasing - which helps with my adhd. I haven’t had success with other app based calendars but Cubbily makes it easy to enter new events & it saves old ones so when a new one repeats it pre-populates which makes life so easy. Don’t use the lists feature much, but the reminders, the widget… everything is just easy and pretty. aesthetically pleasing to keep my motivation going.
Notification Settings
I’m a truck driver. Im not at home for weeks, and every day I'm getting notifications that “Your Family have no plans today, plan something fun!” Its mockery. And you can’t turn this annoying thing off, only can turn off all notifications. What is the reason to have that app then without notifications? I started using it because of my wife, and probably move to something else, because you can’t turn off those stupid everyday notifications.

Awesome app!! When do you guys think you’ll add the feature where we can add two family’s? I want to have a version with my friends schedules AND my family’s schedules where they don’t get all mixed up.

Love the app and the ease of having everything on one place but I can’t add all my family and as a family of 8 I need all the help with organization I can get!

Logged me and my family out of our calendar
I really enjoyed this app for a long time until it completely logged me and my entire family out of the app and deleted our calendar. It now won’t let me access any of the information i had on there ( doctors appointments, important events, ect). I am now scattering to find all of these things and add them to a new calendar.
Good Premium App but needs more
I like the app, great for planning schedules but it is lacking from some of its competitors with no added features. Will consider keeping premium subscription but hoping they consider adding shared grocery lists/to do lists/places to share personal info for other shared online portals (kids doctors, schools, extra circulars etc)
Nice app
Nice app. I have a family of 8 and the limit is 5. I sent the link to my family but unfortunately dad and one of my busiest pre-teens wasn’t able to join. 😫
This is a very good organization app
I have two calendars. One for me and my little family of 5 and one for my larger family of aunts, uncles, and grandparents and cousins. It’s been a good thing to keep informed and I touch with family around America. Also, with lots of blended families-we are able to better organize times when we have all the kids to do things together.
No way to cancel upgrade
If you want to see the calendar by the month you have to pay extra. Upgrade gets you very little. Basically you can see calendar by the month instead of only by day. Deceiving. No way to assign colors for types of events. It really doesn’t work for me and no response from support to try to help cancel subscription.
Adding more family members
I really like the app but I have more then 5 people in my family and it’s not letting me add more! Little frustrating and was hoping to stick with one app for our schedule but just can’t seem to get it right
Amazing tool for work and for families
Cubbily provides a centralized platform where I can easily stay informed about my family’s plans, including important events and doctor appointments. The shared calendar feature is particularly helpful, it lets my parents know what I’m doing and when. We are all on the same page. A big thank you to Cubbily for streamlining our family’s scheduling!
Frustrating
Not the most user friendly calendar (who makes you pay for a monthly view) but whatever update they’ve done recently has forced me to log out only to tell me there’s no account associated with my email, phone number, Facebook etc so I literally can’t log back in 🙄 won’t be using again
