best app ever it's so easy to use
New Obtrusive Ads
Been using this app for years now. It’s always been the best with a little strip of ads at the bottom, whatever, no big deal. I open it up today and now the entire screen is filled with a massive bright neon ad at the bottom. Go to check the ad free option and suddenly the one time purchase option is gone and in its place is a monthly subscription. Sorry but that’s too much. Immediately uninstalled and moving to another option. Sad to see an app go through such a greedy change. Good riddens
Please Add More Colors and Widgets
I think the app is really nice, I was frustrated with the lack of certain customization options from apple calendars. I like that there’s a lot of colors already but making your own custom colors using a color wheel/hex codes/ more presets would be great. BUT, I neeeed more widgets. I dislike that for the large widget the only option is upcoming events. I’d like a full calendar option where maybe you could see colors of your events since the text might be too small, and an option to see events already completed on the day of. So if it’s the 8th today, I’d like to see the other events already completed. Or options to see one specific calendar type for the day of even if it’s already been completed. So filtered by one calendar and show events only for the day of. I say all this because I track some habits through calendar so i’d like to see the ones i’ve already completed on the day of. overall i like the app and the customization i just crave more.
Just copies Google Calendar
I wanted a clean slate calendar to plan things in. You can’t use this as a blank calendar, all other things from your other calendars must carry onto this one. If I have Google and apple calendars.. what the hell do I need this one for if all that stuff has to be on this one too?
Needs to be shareable
This is by far the best calendar app I’ve used for quick entry, colour coding, easy to enter repeating events, visually appealing and you are able to see all the entries at one time. Unfortunately it’s not shareable and I have to use a different calendar app, with significantly more frustration, to keep my family organized. Please make a shareable version so I can continue using this great app!
I will forever be in debt to the creator.
Thank you for making this app. Seriously. It is so easy to use. You can make recurring events, show the weather up to a week ahead, make different colors so events stand out, make reminders, add notes to events for more details, I could just go on. It tells you exactly what is going on by glancing at the calendar, not by having to go into multiple things to see what is going on this day. I seriously am just so happy with this app. I have had it for awhile and it is always kept so simple. THANK YOU!!
Spam
I got a spam and it shows up 5 times everyday.
Pretty good, functional with color coding feature
Recently there is an awful red blinking megaphone icon in an ad(?) at the bottom of the calender. Very distracting! Please fix asap.
Everything was fine until…
I installed this calendar because I had a problem with the iphone calendar app which made all my events disappear 👎🏻 unfortunately as long as the simple calendar is linked to the iPhone calendar the same problem happened to me again…
Удалилась вся информация из календаря
Вчера, по непонятным причинам, слетела вся сохраненная информация! Ладно бы это были бы какие-то последние записи, но исчезла вся информация абсолютно! Есть ли вообще вероятность, что календарь восстановится?!
The Ease
I needed an online calander and the one on the iPhone is mega difficult. I love how this app connects to the apple calader so it can remind you of events. The only difficulty was setting up the categories only works in the apple calender and that is a nessasary feature, if there is a way in the app lmk! Overall highly recommend for a easy to access and price effective system
I loved and now I hate
I rely on my calendar and I used to love this app for years. Twice in the past month it has erased all of my saved dates. I will be deleting this app and using another.
Love this app !!
I absolutely love everything about this app, I use it more than anything. It is very functional. I just highly wish they had more color options because after a while you do run out of colors to code everything with.

events disappearing??
i was using the app for nearly a year and loved it! it helped keep everything organised with times, colours etc but then suddenly every event disappeared. i tried multiple ways to get the events back but nothing worked
Perfect
It works! It’s simple and gives you everything you need. You can open the day and see it laid out for you closed you see times and summary. You can change colors or designate certain colors for specific types of events. I love an app that works! Thank you! 😺
Events Going Missing
Not completely customizable if you want all calendars to contribute. I just have one contributing now but I keep having events disappear which obviously defeats the purpose of keeping a calendar.
Please add “None” alert
I really like the app much better than the iOS Calendar app. The one thing missing is the option for “None” under the “Alert” settings. You can work around it by changing it to None in Apple’s Calendar app. When you go back to SimpleCal, Alert will say “None”
Keep getting spam
I have used this app for ages, but recently it is full of spam that you cannot delete I have so much spam on it. I cannot see my usual appointments
Deleted Items
I used this calendar for years, and I honestly think it’s a very easy layout that is accessible in ways other apps haven’t been. After years of using it, all my plans on the calendar were deleted. Thinking it was a one off occurrence, I worked to rebuild all that had been deleted. Today, about a week later, all of my content has been deleted once again. I would recommend this app to everyone regularly, but i caution that you may run into the same issue leading to a painstaking process
Still amazed
Had this Simple calendar for almost two years now been amazing. No problem or clutch. Has colors that help me out. (: 5 stars after two years still amazing
Saddened to leave this app
i don’t tend to write reviews but here i am. been using this for years. suddenly everything disappeared. i tried everything. I simply just wish it can be saved automatically in the app. Thank you n goodbye.
Selena
Love the app
Events deleting
I absolutely loved this app up until it deleted all my past and future events 2 times.
Good but everything deleted
Well good but a week ago everything on my calendar deleted which has just messed up my whole life but owel??
Perfect calendar!
This calendar works great! I think if you’re struggling with a calendar. This is the perfect app to use. I was mad at this other calendar I had but this is perfect! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lost my INFO
Opened up the app today on 6/7/26, to find the last THREE years of my life was simply GONE!! Can’t get back more than the lousy 30 day “Lite Backup” they provide, but even that doesn’t give the details that were written, just the event! I’m devastated!!
Love my calendar
Easy to use, keeps me on task.
Unzuverlässig
In letzter Zeit sehr unzuverlässig. Es kommen keine Push Benachrichtigung für eingestellte Termine mehr.
Loved it until...
I have been using this app for over a year and have really liked it - it streamlines my events and tasks and has an attractive color scheme that makes staying organized easy. The big problem I have run into lately, however, is that I've noticed events going missing or getting deleted. I have had several important appointments go missing from my calendar without me doing anything to alter them. I really hope this gets fixed because I really like this app otherwise.
My favorite calendar
Love this calendar! Everything is very user friendly and the view is perfectly “simple” as the name indicates. I do wish there were more color options and the ability to sync it with other users. But still my favorite calendar hands down.
do not download
Deleted my whole calendar 3 times and i cannot restore it. 😤😡
finally a calendar I can use
SIMPLE, CLEAR, NO B/S/ CALENDAR!
My calendar items always delete themselves!
This is a good calendar app, and I would continue using it, If my calendar items weren’t always deleting themselves. It’s very frustrating and confusing when my entire schedule is wiped off the map.
Très bonne application
Elle me permet de libérer ma charge mental. Il faut bien penser à enregistrer 😅manque de choix de couleur mais on s’adapte
Best One Yet!
Love this app. I’ve used it for over 5 years. The ONLY thing I don’t like about this is it doesn’t have the ability to block out an entire day. Other than that, love it!
Disappointed in the End
I’ve used this app for years. It has been great. Very user friendly. But it has one fatal flaw. This calendar will randomly clear all your events, with no way to retrieve them. I had backup turned on but nothing appeared in my other default calendars. Birthdays, weddings, interviews, important dates all erased. This is the second time it’s happened and i’m so done with it. Don’t waste your time with this app.
Suggestion
Simple to use and read. The only improvement I would like to see is to make it easy to co-ordinate this app between my iPad and iPhone.
Deletes events
This app has now deleted my events randomly for the 2nd time. The “help” section in this app for this is not helpful at all. Deleting and finding a new calendar app.
カラー
選択した色味と、反映される色が違うのでやり直し多くなる。
Awesome
i loveee using this, it’s so simple and so helpful
Not good
I really liked this calendar, but I lost all my data on it, which makes it hard for me to recommend it.
Colours
The only issue is, I would like to see more colours.
Great App with exception
I am frustrated with this app because I cannot remove birthdays or other events that were put there by other calendars. I have been looking for another calendar to replace this one. Having said that I am sad about needing to look for another because it is everything I need and the font and calendar are easy on the eyes and you can repeat same event. I now have a birthday of a person who is no longer in my life that I want to remove and cannot. It is my calendar and I should be able to take it off.
Datum
Op de voorzijde app-icoon zou het fijn zijn als de datum verscheen. Verder een hele fijne app
My life
My whole life is on this app!
It deleted all of my events / saved events
The whole point of this is to keep track of saved dates so you won’t miss anything. Today I opened up the app and it deleted ALL OF MY EVENTS. I know the developers might just copy and paste saying “ please check settings and check if your info is up to date” yeah no that’s your job my job is to just download your app and put my dates into it. What a horrible experience. You guys are off just using iPhone calendar or another type. Just use those this one will delete all your events then except you to fix it yourself.
Fun
Fun and easy to use
I just want a plain calendar.
Why is it SO HARD to find a calendar app that doesn’t connect to existing calendars
