Correctly bought the year subscription.. loved it at first but now.
Can’t use the app without crashing. It’s continuously taking me to the main menu and even kicking me off in general. Cleared out of the app and still having the problem. My app and my phone is up to date, so that’s obviously not the issue. Can’t believe I paid money to use an app that doesn’t even work! Scam.

Keeps crashing
We’ve used this app for lists and groceries for years with no issues. For the past ~2 weeks or so, the app crashes more than it works. The list app for groceries used to remain open for the entirety of my shopping trip. Now once my phone goes to sleep, the app returns to the main menu when I unlock it again. Then when I click on lists it crashes a few times back to the main menu before allowing me to resume viewing my list. It makes shopping and making the grocery list more difficult than it needs to be. This also applies to the calendar feature. It crashes back to the app’s main menu before being able to add or edit your events. The key features my family uses this app for are not functioning optimally at this time. There need to be fixes for these bugs immediately.
Why is app constantly crashing recently???
I love this app as it organizes everyone in my family in one calendar. However, within the last couple of weeks as soon as I open closes down, and I have to reopen it more than once… help!!!! can we please release an update to fix these bugs??
Perfect digital command center!
I love that while I’m cooking or driving, I can tell my kids to add something to the calendar or the grocery list. They have their chores list, we generate packing lists for travel, we share photos, everything! Love it!
Glitchy
I loved this app for a couple years actually. For the last month or so, every time I open the app and try to access my family calendar or meal plan, it repeatedly bumps me back to the main menu. At first it was just once a day, then they did an app update and now it’s every time I try to use the app. I pay for the premium version too, and I’m about to cancel it because it’s plain annoying when I’m trying to quickly access my calendar when scheduling appointments.
Mostly Love
I love this app. We have used it for years now and honestly it’s so helpful! I like that it synces to my Google Calendar, I love that we can color code, I love all the options. We use it for family and friends activities. The only thing I wish is the activity center was accurate. When I open the app it will say a 2 for things added but the activity center does not say that these were made. Sometimes it will say an update was made to an event but it doesn’t always. It mostly features changes I have made but not my husband or family members. But then I can go to calendar view and see it was updated recently. Sometimes I have to copy an added event to another calendar so then I have to toggle back and forth between the two to see if it’s missing. If the activity center actually contained new items and updated items then I would know what I missed. (Sometimes the app will push a notification but once you open it, it’s gone.) please make a Notification Center.
Very unstable
The last update has messed the app, keeps crashing when adding events or adjusting times, returns to the Home Screen randomly.

We absolutely love FamilyWall. But after the last update about a week ago, it crashes after you click on anything— open a recipe, it crashes immediately…open your grocery list, it crashes immediately. It’s very frustrating and the app has become unusable.

I’ve used this app to keep track of my family and our never ending appointments. It’s been a LIFE SAVER. until the latest update, it no longer lets you add anything to the calendar and immediately crashes the whole app repeatedly. Very sad because my whole life and schedule lives in this app 😭

Widget
The app itself seems okay so far but I like to have a full month view calendar widget for convenience. I find myself not using this app as much as my calendar app because of the lack of widget. Also so many features requires premium.
Glitching recently!!
Have used this app for years and absolutely love it for organising my day to day, but in the last couple of weeks it’s been super glitchy and I have no idea what has caused this! It reloads back to the home page constantly when I’m flicking between days and other apps, super annoying, PLEASE FIX THIS 🥲
Hard to get help
Family Wall is great! We use it everyday and it’s really helpful. We only use the calendar and meal planner but it’s still great. Anyway, I’m having trouble getting help. The app says it needs to verify my email address but I didn’t get an email. I changed it to my daily email account and still nothing. The app keeps crashing and I want to report it.

I love it BUT I need a chore chart section
I love this. I have the yearly premium and with that have two separate calendars one with my parents to keep up with their appointments and anything going on with my nieces. And then a separate one for my boyfriend so we can keep a shared calendar with anything and everything we have going on or events going on we might be interested in. I have had a few hiccups with importing recipes but overall having that and the meal planning section is great. A few suggestions: an inventory tab to keep up with what groceries we already have in the house, I have it in the lists section but having a dedicated space to keep track of leftovers, cleaning supplies, etc because my adhd makes me forget constantly what I have vs what I need when making my meal plans. And a chore chart with a points system, reward system, and a graphic dashboard so we can see almost like a race where everyone is at with the chores.
Such a great concept but too many inconsistencies to use
I was so excited about this app, it’s user friendly and great for staying organized. But the glitches make the app nearly unusable. The amount of times buttons just don’t work is ridiculous. Why should we be paying for an app that only works sometimes. It’s so frustrating.

Not happy
They give you the most basic options to be able to use on here that I already have on my phone. They should let you use everything without charging you every month for it and have premium options for more things. Idk I just don’t see its worth that.

It’s supper user friendly. I just wish I could use it on my Mac as well. Other than that, it’s such a great app. We paid for another year!
Overall decent
Feedback- want the option to add items easier under the todo list under a specific category. Just make a + sign under each specific category so its easier to add items instead of categorising each item I want to add
Almost perfect….not quite
This app has everything except a super basic feature that blew my mind once I subscribed to premium that it wasn’t there. The ability to create a simple note with text or whatever I wanna add into it is not there. For example, if I wanna create a note about my vehicle where I can log the things I do like change the oil and get new tires and stuff so everyone else in my family can see and add to it you can’t. Or if you simply want a running note of information, you can’t do it. You can add a document like a Word document but then it’s going to open that document in a separate app which kind of defeats the purpose. Guys fix this and you’ll have 5 stars from me! It’s also unbelievably frustrating that if I switched to a different screen or different app and come back it completely reloads the app and I lose everything i was working on.
Brings calm to family chaos

Stuck in landscape mode
So far I like the features and one-app functions. It was relatively easy to add family members as well. The colour coding and organization tools are terrific. I can see myself using it often… BUUUUT… and it’s a big but, I have an issue that annoys the heck out of me. The app on my tablet only displays in landscape mode. I think the assumption is iPad users will always have their tablet set on a table top? I don’t. I hand-hold it for almost everything. Being stuck in landscape mode makes typing too wide for my hands. It makes it difficult to use this app. I’ve dropped my tablet twice now because of it! WHY?? Why design the app this way? I’m serious when I say this is likely a deal breaker. It’s preventing me from testing further and I’ve already cancelled the renewal after the trial because of this limitation.

Best Calendar App I’ve Used
I absolutely love this calendar app! It’s literally the best $44 I spend every year. It has so many features, color coding, per person views, calendar syncing from outlook, gmail, etc.! I also love the birthdays section and what I use the most is the lists section. I have several lists: Mom’s to do, Dad’s to do, Birthday Party list, Invites list, Grocery list. It also has an important documents section where I have the kids upload their school schedules and I put our medical insurance cards for everyone to have access. They literally thought of everything.

Unable to use shopping list
Worked great but now we can’t use the shopping list. When we try to Add anything it makes three of the same items and gets rid of the category. Unfortunately, there is no way to utilize this time.
Could be better?
I’d love for the to-do list section to get an upgrade for chores. Say we all have the same chore and I assign it to all of us (ex. Brush teeth), but I want it twice a day as well. It’d be nice if each person could check it off for themselves, but not for the other people assigned it. It’d be so much easier than having to manually input a new task for each individual and twice for that person!
Excellent family calendar
Easy to use; easy to set up and free. This has hands down made a huge difference at coordinating doctors appointments and commitments with my partner. Love how easy and intuitive it is.

Great Digital Calendar Option
I used this app as a trial version while looking through different digital calendar options. The cheapest and I think still does everything we want. We use a apolo screen with family wall. I bought this on a discount for a year subscription but plan to renew in the next month when my subscription is up.
Unusable
Would not let me invite my family members or even join other circles. Constantly asked me to sign in and wouldn’t work. Would not recommend.

Lists section sucks
The list making section of this app is trash it doesn’t work
feature rich, but base functionality fails
App can do everything, but I wish it only did one thing. You name it, it's an option. Unfortunately, no matter what I try, if I put an entry on one device, it doesn't show up on the others about 20% of the time. For me, I would give up every other feature to have a calendar app be in sync on ALL devices running ALL operating systems in near real-time. There is no "force sync/verify" button either. Otherwise, great app, great widget, and great to enter/search/setup calendar entries.

Mostly great
I love the simplicity of the app and that our entire family can keep track of events, chore lists, etc. it’s great for my teen who has ADHD. We use the budget feature to track our kids’ allowances (wish there was a way to set it to never reset). I do find the calendar and list feature to be a bit of a pain at times. I often have to close out the app and start over when setting up an event in the calendar because it either won’t save or switches the date/resets the time after I enter the information. When using the family view we like to see our kids chores/tasks with assigned times so they can check them off as they day progresses. There are so many times the app won’t allow them (or us) to check off a task - you tap the circle and nothing happens - or checks off a future task (like laundry for the next two weeks). A small suggestion I have is that oftentimes when adding items to a grocery list I write down how many I need (“sweet potatoes, 3”). When adding a quantity the app resets the category to “uncategorized” and I have to manually change it so my list is in order. Overall we like the app a lot but there are a few things I hope improve over time.

Great View - but with issues
I’ve been using this app for a while now. It’s really handy for sorting my childcare argrangemts and for having a shared calendar with my partner. However when I’m inputting lots of dates manually - alternate weeks of childcare dates, I get about two months in and the app deletes a load of recently added entries!! It’s really frustrating as it’s happening over and over again. Is this a bug?
