The volume doesn’t work on my I Phone
I am not a lip reader and the volume doesn’t work on my I Phone I can find no settings to fix that.
Out of area not out of mind
This is the best way to see area stuff like Sclarman girls BB , the towns of Georgetown & Westville plus are fighting Illini way to be near home when I want it .
Almost seen the important news
And then 5 min of ads then something from somewhere nowhere around here then ads then weather Then ads then “we might see tonight “ love Kevin but then nothing. But seen there’s a casino I might be interested in but recovering gambling addiction figure I better pass. Can we just not watch the local news for 5 minutes or atleast the tornado warning would be good
Positive rate
Why can we not get daily positive rate for our state. On our evening news cast.
Keep up the good work
Well one of the best stations
Continuously pushes woke agendas and click baiting
Full of clickbait and pushes narratives based on woke agenda. Junk like their news casting.
not enough adds
I was hoping to get a lot of ads but unfortunately they only spam them all over.
Objectivity of Mark Maxwell
At the outset of covering the News from Springfield and Chicago, Maxwell maintained a relatively high degree of Objectivity. But as time has passed that Objectivity has diminished somewhat leaning toward the rest of Major Media softening on matters relating Democratic issues. Whether intentional to move on up to better Opportunities or just favoring the Democratic Party, either could be in play but Objectivity has diminished, sadly.
Great station
Watch every morning and evening as they have great news coverage and accurate weather forecasts
Disappointed
In light of the recent insensitive handling/reporting concerning the shooting death of Champaign Police Officer Chris Oberheim, I am deleting this app. Furthermore, I will not be supporting or watching WCIA news going forward. I encourage others to do the same.
FulfBear
Too many ads. News not current.
Streaming
Can’t watch outside the viewing area without streaming!
News review
Great station
Disgusted with WCIA
Can’t believe what this broadcasting network has come too...
Not great
The app is alright but I find they don't update the stories very often. Usually when I see a story on the news, it doesn't show up on the app until 4 or 5 hours later. I would also like it to be easier to access school/business closings on the app. The weather isn't usually updated but once a day too.
Review I would rate this app higher if
Why no news from Coles County? Never see anything about any cities/towns south of Champaign....Charleston/Mattoon are in your viewing area. Did you forget about us?!?
Streaming
I had hoped by downloading this app I would be able to stream the news broadcasts. But I haven’t been able to do that. Only stories after the news broadcast. Not what I was hoping for. I have had the weather app for awhile and use it often.
News is not very good
I have been an avid wcia news watcher for 40 years and with the current dispute with Dish, I have found other alternatives that offer more outstanding news cast as well as broadcasters that cover local and state news.
Contests
Any chance the frugal Fridays or other half offs can be incorporated instead of lame horoscopes??
Jen and Jess r the best I’ve seen in my 45 years in CMI. 😄.
Jen and Jess r the best that I’ve seen in CMI in the past 45 years.
WCIA online
It needs to be updated more frequently.
Another one huh
I hope it work better than the last one
Great local weather app
I've always got to WCIA to watch my local news and weather. WCIA has a great weather team.
Couldn't just do an update?
Why couldn't you just update the app you already have? By the way, this is really hard to find in the App Store.
Come on....
Look at every other news page, including your old one. Let us not try to fix what is not broken.
