Best
NetBenefits is by far the easiest app to navigate and user friendly for us “not so technically advanced folks”.
Buggy
Continually run into issues. If you have two plans because you worked at employers who both used fidelity (not a unique edge case) you will not be able to use this app. It will fail to login. The app will show you an incomplete white screen with a green bar that does nothing and then a weird failed to login right now page after that. Not the level of robustness you want from a company managing $50 let alone $50k or more.
Love the App (but small currency bug in Versions 4.24 and 4.25)
Within the Stock Plan Account Display Within the Sell Asset portion of the main display The “Cost basis total” value is showing the USD amount and labelling it AUD (My display currency) Please fix this. Note: The correct amounts can be seen on a few other screens, but the “Held in USD” popup shows it best. Either USD and AUD values side by side. It also shows correctly on the web site
Not helpful
This app is not user-friendly. It gives you hardly any information and the information it does give you is not clear, especially as it pertains to an HSA account. I had to call in to find out that my funds were on hold. There was literally nothing on the app that said that it looked like I had thousands of dollars to spend on my medical and my card was being declined and I had to call to find that out. I appreciated my old health equity app so much more.
Temporarily unavailable for 2 days
When I log in after the 2FA request it has started showing me a green bar without any lettering. When I click on that I get a screen saying it is temporarily unavailable. But this has been happening for 2 days so I think it’s some new bug.
Great app!
Really like this app because it makes it easy to make and save changes to my retirement account.
Terrible experience
App had not worked in over a month. There’s no urgency from the company to fix it. Absolutely terrible when I HAVE to go through this app to move my money.
Missing dot on number pad?
There is no dot on the number pad to key in for decimal point?
Requires Update
Basic functionality present. Requires update to keep UI experience in line with Fidelity brokerage app.
Permanent Promotions
The app sends you promotions that take up screen space but there’s no way to decline them. It’s like being forced to see the ad over and over every time you open the app. It’s incredibly frustrating.. I wish it was a way to get rid of them.

App unable to open
So I open the app, a screen shows up and said “ New version available. We are no longer supporting this version of our app. Please download the most recent version.” There’s a button with the link that takes you to the App Store. Once in the App Store, it is showing the Open button instead of the Update button. Right now I have no way to access the account via the mobile phone . A piece of junk.

Beyond the summary in the main page, it is hard to find what you need. Especially the messages and follow ups from your claims
Should be better
Too many functions require opening a browser window and long waits. And why is it still separate from the main fidelity app?. It’s 2026, this should be easy by now.

Why?
As everyone else has already stated, this is just a wrapper over the website. I fail to understand what benefit it could possibly offer over the website, why should I bother with installing it?
Basic and faceID doesn’t work
It’s a very basic app, fine for checking balances. Lacking features vs other European banking or stock broker apps that I use. Cannot get FaceID to work
Works for me
Had this at my old job and I miss it dearly. Now, I use Principal and it’s not nearly as user friendly or as pretty to be honest. NetBenefits does everything I need it to and the only thing better than this app is the desktop version.
Can’t login after update
I logged on the webpage version, and can’t log onto the mobile version ever since.

I am using the app from my I-pad and am quite satisfied with its functionality
Pathetic app
The app earlier was very good, now I downloaded it and it’s really a worst app, it’s just a website which they have squeezed into mobile, and I need to login every time even when I select remember this device
Intermittent login issue
Intermittently observing issue with login and resintalling app works. This is concerning

It’s not an app. Just a wrapper
It’s 2024 and the app looks like from 2014. Just a wrapper over website with limited functionality. Might as well login from safari and save phone storage space
Entering trades takes too long
Response after entering symbol ticker and switching between field trades takes too long.

Not opening
Super cool. Just signed up because my company put Fidelity in control of my 401k and I can’t open the app. Just “signs me in” and gives me a black screen with a blank green bar. Neat
Cannot view or download statement
All the app does is wrap up the website inside a wrapper and open it in the app, one would be better going to the website and opening it. Secondly, there is no way of seeing or downloading the statement in the app 😞
Needs iphoneX support
Clunky but does what I need. FaceID to log in and show me my stock.

Several bugs
Keeps saying there’s something wrong with facial recognition - but it’s the only app that doesn’t work with it and reinstalling doesn’t solve it. Also, the pdf reader doesn’t work in it, so you can’t read your statements, and you can’t download them. Clunky interface.

Fidelity folks - how can access to my account via the app be down for so many days! It says System is under maintenance. In the world of mobility, can’t believe that your app doesn’t work for so many days.
