Do not buy! Scam!
Spendee advertises a 7 day trial but when you select the plan it charges you for the year with no trial. I asked their support for assistance and they just told me to cancel but the subscription is still being charged. They are no longer responding. The app also does not work and locks up so I cannot even use it if I wanted to keep it. They also did not respond on that either. I requested a refund on apple support but this needs to be flagged as a scam on the app.
DO NOT UPDATE!!
I've been using this app for more than 10 years... (glad I've become a lifetime supporter) No need to look for other apps. That said, the recently updated app constantly crashes.... While the interface got cleaner, whenever I click the "+" button to add an expense, the app just freezes. 🫠😇 This should be fixed right away since I don't want to migrate to another app at this point!
Don’t like new design at all
It’s so confuse with the number, The old one is better in seeing your transaction. New version is so big with Number!! I can’t see nothing with this design!?
After the update its not working
After the update this is not working it’s hanging alot and not able to enter the expenses. Not able to register any new transactions Plz fix the issue.

Post recent update performance is extremely poor
I have had been using Spendee for quite a long time and post recent update, The application become too slow. Whenever I click any function, the app freezes and even if I close it and open the app again it doesn’t work. 2Star because of this release only otherwise i would have given 5stars
Bug in new version
The new version has multiple bugs. The app is not responding and makes it unusable.

New UI spendee 6 - can’t add transactions
The new UI is pretty and I like the view to see total expenses and income for the month but it’s practically not functional. I can’t add an expense without quitting and restarting the app. The column bar chart at the top takes up way too much space and I can’t really see my expenses. The header is not fixed such that when I scroll down in expenses I can’t see it’s for today’s expense (the UI is confusing and makes it look like it’s for the previous month)
App is to slow
I am your customer past 4 years I think but now a days both app and web is very slow can you check that .because of this I am not providing a lo star because You guys are actually done a very well job. Make it’s simplicity so more user can use this app
App Freeze
The app freezes completely when clicking on add expense manually. The app does not respond at all then. Please resolve the issue as this has made the app useless.
Label issue
User cannot edit or delete the label. Label should be use in one of the analysis chart.
Still using it after 10 years
I’m still using this app after 10 years and the history of ten years data gives me useful insights.
Latest Aug 2026 update is horrible
I’ve used this app for over 7 years now, I have a plus version, it was never the best UI/UX but the last update is just horrible, is ultra slow even on an iPhone 17 Pro Max, is unusable, everything is really slow. Like if they didn’t run a single test before launching. Hope they fix it asap.

You should add little more categories in non premium version. It will be a great help for people
I don’t like new design
The new design is laggy and the UX is awful. About the 70% of the Home Screen is taken up by information I don’t need, like the chart and budget badges. It may look cool, but it’s not useful. The main thing I want to see is a scrollable list of my spending. With the new design only two items from a long list fit in the viewport, and the whole screen jumps when I scroll list up and down. Please at least make the page customizable so users can hide the components they don’t need.
Is there anyway to get in contact with the developers?

Lovely app I’ve been using it for a very long time I am only bugged about the ads But of course for a free version, this is the greatest app I’ve ever used
Just not doing its job
I really like this app and I’m willing to give it another chance in the future. I uninstalled this app because it did an amazing job at tracking my transfers from one bank to the other but it did a very poor job at tracking my expenses. That was a little sarcastic. Seriously though, it’s not doing the one thing I need it to do. I need it to track what I am spending using the info directly from my bank.

Update gone wrong
They updated the app in the last couple of days and it stopped working
App not opening anymore
The app functioned well up until yesterday, it stopped opening on my iPhone 12. I tried to restart my iPhone and the problem is still there.
Data Issues
Something is messed up with the app. The amount of between wallet transactions has changed for some reason, hope its a glitch and will be fixed.
Potential but keeps saying update coming but still hasn’t
It looks like it has potential but the interface is overwhelming and I mainly bought it because I wanted the help with the budgeting. But even after premium and having for a week it’s still not on my dashboard. Now it’s saying to wait for additional updates. I’ll give another week before I cancel and go to another app.
Crashing constantly
I love the app, but I’ve been trying to open it for a few days and failing. Is something wrong?
Charged me full price immediately instead of letting me use the free trial
I was extremely disappointed they didn’t make it clearer I was spending $35 on some premium subscription instead of the FREE TRIAL like it said. Now I’m stuck with an app for a year that I now found out, after inadvertently purchasing it, I don’t care for it much anyway. 😖
Ap crash
Ap closes immediately after opening, it was functioning well since I installed few months. But now it seems to have a problem.
I used to love this app
I used to use this app all the time, Im not sure what happened but its been getting steadily worse throughout the years. It’s always been buggy when syncing bank accounts, but now unfortunately it’s become unusable. It has started to count my balances on credit cards as income instead of expenses, and apparently there is no way to fix that. I hope eventually they find a way to make this app usable again, but for now it’s time to find an alternative.
Tooooo many popping ads
The app keep trying to get you pay more money(I’m already paying yearly subscription) it popping up every time I’m trying to add a spending. I will move to other apps just because of this. STOP interrupting

App won't open!
I've loved this app for years, but just today it won't open on my iPhone16. It briefly flashes the logo and then closes. Can someone help?!
Good luck trying to share wallet
Glad I started with a trial and was able to cancel before paying. Tried so many times to share the wallet with my wife. Logged out, logged back in, deleted app, reinstalled, deleted account and made a new one.. no success. Really like the app if I’m the only one using but if we can’t share the wallet, which I assume most families will want to do, then it doesn’t make sense to keep it. I tried via the mobile app and via the web app. Pretty frustrating. Guess we will try something else.

I’ve been using spendee since 2017 and gave it a 5 stars rating despite the subscription ads popping up every time I opened the app I still put up with it without complaining but now the app won’t even open. How can I retrieve my previous expenses data? Is there a way? 😭

Terrible app
Bank of America integration is not working properly. Transactions are not synchronized, have to delete and connect again bank connection to pull up transactions every time, sync button does nothing. Transactions from bofa with the same amount are merging and the app shows only one transaction. I have two transactions $1000 each one, in app I can see only one charge for $1000 and spend is $1000 but spend is $2000. Support is silent. Buggy and useless. Had to cancel a subscription.
About limited Categories Icon
This app only provides few categories icon like old school. On the newer app like spending which has only app version also include more categories icon which helps better to create new categories. besides that like this app how it work.
Don’t buy subscription
I decided to buy an annual subscription for the features but since downloading it 10 days ago it’s been nothing but issues. My bank keeps getting disconnected, the app was glitching that I couldn’t open it or refresh. Don’t waste your $ on a subscription.
