Why does your App need to know our location
I never give your App permission to access my location. 1. It’s NOBODY’s business where I’m at when I’m looking at an App. Besides inside the App it ask for the city we live in . Otherwise I don’t t have iidf

Seems that Glass Door filtering isn’t working. I list Location as Remote. Filter results return Jobs that require being onsite in areas I don’t live in when I also put willing to relocate as No.

Indeed broke privacy settings
They keep sending me updates to my old email address, but won’t let me login with it, and won’t send a password reset email. After creating a new account with Indeed, they force you to verify your cell number and I cannot trust them to keep my info private.

Ai popup makes it unusable
Please fix the ai bubble in mobile app. Makes it impossible to scroll job postings because it takes up more than half the screen and you cant scroll “past” It.

AI Interface is Nonfunctional
Unlike the desktop version, the Glassdoor app traps you in its AI “Glassdoor Recruiter” platform (still in beta) with no option to access regular Glassdoor. The AI pops up to “assist” even when you’re clicking to input text somewhere, so you have to suggest to the chatbot what to do instead of just typing what you would like to say. When I asked this chatbot if there was a way to access the normal functions of Glassdoor within the app, the bot misunderstood my use of the word “recruiter,” (the name of the AI platform) and wrote for me a description about how I don’t want to work with a recruiter and want a direct-hire role, and then added this nonsense description to my profile without my knowledge or input. Extremely frustrating.
Great App! But…..
Glassdoor is a great app. The only thing I would say is bring back the way you sort job posting. Lately, when I view job postings within a week span, instead of all 1d ago together, 2d together in a count up style, I get a list of scattered daily posts, making this annoying. Can you find a way to fix that?

Great platform but app always crashing
Glassdoor seems to have job listings other apps/sites don’t, which is great. They have a great platform and easy to navigate app. However, the app is constantly crashing , so much that it becomes impossible to use. And the website forces you to the app so it’s a very frustrating experience applying for jobs.

AI made the app unusable
I have been using Glassdoor to view/apply for jobs and opening the app today to the new (and unavoidable) “recruiter” AI setup has made the app unusable. You are now unable to use a manual search filter and I can find even less jobs than I was able to before. Completely unnecessary use of AI to make the app worse. I’m using it to follow through with any applications I have sent in but I’m stopping using Glassdoor now. I want a job search app, not an LLM with a job search function

Your posts have been quite objective but there’s still room for improvement
Too many jobs posted outside of the geographical bounds you specify
For the jobs that are in bounds it’s good. But when the list returns say, 100 jobs why are 73 of them for outside the geographical region you specify. That’s wasting MY time. So either the app needs to improve its validation of the display OR when the job is created you cannot have it placed into a different geographic area.

Great company to work for
Phiston Technology is one of the best companies I have ever worked for. It is a growing company with a strong team environment. From the founder and CEO to the inspectors, general manager, mechanical engineers, technicians, and other employees, everyone works together as a team. There is a strong level of respect among employees, and everyone understands their responsibilities. To me, Phiston feels like a great community, not just a workplace. The company also supports its employees by providing tools, PPE, work boots, and other necessary equipment. They even provide lunch several times a week, depending on the branch and location. My experience with Phiston Technology has been very positive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a professional company with teamwork, respect, and opportunities to grow. I have also worked with CBRE, which is a good company as well, but Phiston Technology has been one of the best work experiences I have had.
AI ruins the experience
The new ai popup makes the app much harder to use. The information isn’t relevant and it is frustrating have to fight to navigate the app traditionally. I know what I want to search for and the ai adds no value.

Can’t log in
I don’t know why, and it’s probably an error on my end, but since Glassdoor and Indeed merged I haven’t been able to log in. It’s very frustrating. I get asked for a multitude of things: my passkey, my Apple login, my email, my user name, and on and on. Even though I have autofill for user names and passwords, nothing works! I am confused as to what I am supposed to use now because it seems like I have had to register for both of these sites so many different times now that I can no longer keep track. In fact, I tried using the app back when you first merged and I ran into all the same problems. I was totally frustrated and finally just gave up, deciding not to even use the app. Can you direct me as what I need to do EXACTLY to ‘clear the slate’ and get rid of any and all previous logins for Glassdoor AND Indeed, and how to proceed to set a new one that will open everything and allow me to access it from my email as well. Thanks.

This app sucks
Why are you showing me jobs that are 300 miles away when I have it set for 25 and then the jobs in my area seems like there’s only 20 even though I’m in the middle of a big city because every job I clicked on it already applied
Pre Saved Details
I need to provide postal code, state and address every time I apply for any job. The details should be saved in my profile and can fetch from there.
Difficult to navigate
Demographic section is noting I am missing my birth year, disability, parent & veteran status however when you go to update it does not give you the option to add info. Also, the ethnicity dropdown only gives the option for white and then other options are listed as numbers so seems like a development issue
Please stop defaulting to USA
I have never lived there, my location is Canada, I change the location to Canada and it changes back to US when I switch sections. Pleassee can it default to the location in our profiles?
Save my search settings
I’m so annoyed by having to re-select “remote” and all my other preferences every time I type in a new job title.
Limited , communication after applying
I’ve applied to several job openings that appeared to be available, but unfortunately, I have not received any response or meaningful follow-up regarding my applications. Better communication and updates throughout the hiring process would make the experience much more transparent and respectful of candidates’ time.

Can’t login
Impossible to login without providing a phone number, which imo is not needed. App deleted once I couldn’t figure out a way past it.
Glassdoor app issues
The app/program has a few issues. Signing in can take multiple try’s. Get stuck on pages, eg when reviewing my resume I couldn’t leave the page. I save jobs and then can’t find them they disappear. Unsure of the issue but these problems happen mainly on my phone.

I find it infuriating that AI just goes in and completely goes over what I wrote and changes it. I do not want what I wrote changed. If I wanted it changed, I would ask! get the AI out and just use it as an option.
