Fantastic App
Really like this app, it's the first one I open each and every day. Just One thing though, I signed up for adds free however the adds are still showing up.
Problem subscribing
How do you guys stay in business? I tried to sign in 15 times and got nothing but “The captcha was not completed correctly. Please try again.”
Great app
I wish that it would not drain a lot of battery when I have my iPhone read the articles to me.
Articles Won’t Load
This app used to work fine, but now on my iPhone I repeatedly receive a message that “there was a problem loading articles” and to check my connection. The connection is fine. It’s the app that’s not. I hope this is fixed soon as I otherwise have enjoyed the app up to now.
Change - is hard
So I’ve been an avid user for a very long time. And like how simple your app use to be. Now you’ve added extra layers like featured stories, sponsored reads and latest news. Nice in practice but for speed I can’t get to new articles as quickly. Now have this website feel without the speediness of the old app. Can we please toggle back to what it was like from a few days ago as this isn’t a good update for what an app should be. If I want your website I know where to go. But having to scroll down passed the featured stories each time it’s mind numbing.
Multitasking
This app needs multitasking so bad for iPad, I use this app hourly and the only thing that would make it better is multitasking.
The app was hacked today
Since this morning the app contain a new icon with a link to a fraudulent link.
Good app with great content
I came to first the website then this reader app after being a listener for some time to the podcast. The articles are informative and the reviews are thorough. I'd like it if new articles were highlighted in some way, but other than that, I've got no complaints at all. Strange that some people give it low ratings because there are ads. You don't get such high quality content as this for nothing.
Good app if u don’t mind intrusive google ads
Google ad banner at bottom is annoying as always shows ads totally irrelevant to me / where I am & any interests etc. All it’s doing is spying on me so I’ll go elsewhere for my apple fix. Uninstalled
Still crashes often on IOS14
The new update didn’t fix crashing. For a site that is supposedly an authority on Apple stuff, this is embarrassing.
Great app
Good looking app, good content. I love the big fonts. Subscriptions very reasonably priced.
Clumsy and confusing
The user interface is cluttered and unintuitive, making navigation frustrating. Hard to see the least news, instead the one picked up by developer are on top, which is not necessarily important
Still has baggage
The new app is good but still has some baggage from the previous version, imho. First, full-screen (no upper/lower bars) mode is kinda useless because every time you slide to move to another article, if exits full-screen. Secondly, I wish it were a little easier to really jump directly to commends and respond immediately without access a webview of the forums. Also, when I see a badge count and I open the app, I end up having no idea what articles the badge count was related to but I guess there is no trivial solution to that unless the app keeps track of its notifications (apart from Notification Center). Finally, I have yet to test if the main view still goes out of sync with the details view every now and again but that was an issue in the previous version. If I remember correctly, canceling my offline mode subscription might have been related to that but I can't recall exactly.
Fix
It looses network connection randomly (while loading advertisement somehow with ease). Crushing upon opening from time to time.
Please fix your app!!!!!

Long time user but a couple of days ago itjust stop loading content 😀
They fixed it...
I fired off an email to support, letting them know of an issue when selecting images. Within days an update was out. Problem solved. Brilliant!!
Latest update has ads
The release notes of the latest update say, "Bug fixes," but they've also added adverts. Bit sneaky. When viewing a story, if the writer has mucked up the HTML the story will stop rendering at that point, and to view the remainder of the story you have to view the comments. I'm just going to use the mobile website. No ads thanks to my content blocker, and the stories render properly.
Good app spoilt by ads
I love keeping up to date with Apple and these guys do a great job. The app itself is very good but it is spoilt by the advert delivery. When scrolling between news every so often a FULL PAGE ad appears which is quite difficult to close. While I understand the need for ads if I am not subscribing I don't want to feel forced into it.

A long-time user of the app but now dissatisfied
I had paid for the “Pro” version a year ago and was expecting my subscription to auto-renew a couple days ago but it didn’t and my subscription got terminated and I lost all my saved articles. I tried to restore or subscribe again and the app doesn’t seem to work now as it fails to process my new subscription. What’s worse is that their customer support is non-existent. It was a great app otherwise but now I can’t save any articles unless I have a subscription.
A nice app but...
It is annoying that you have to press a button which opens another page to view comments. It would be great if it showed comments straightaway.
App crashes hard
This is a good app for delivering the news but it's the only app I own that hangs my entire phone requiring a hard reset. How complex is it that it can render my handset completely unresponsive to any button presses?!
Sort-comments
I never right reviews but I gotta agree with above great app but ever since updated for maybe iPhone6 or earlier update, I barely ever read comments now because there absolutely tiny need to sort out comments so can be read on mobile
Great
This is a great app on the iPhone. Alas, it's been ruined on the iPad. On the iPad, it's now not possible to write comments on articles. The font size of the comments is tiny and unchangeable. It would be pleasing to have a bigger font size for the comments. The content and commentary is five stars—especially Daniel Eran Dilger. Honourable mention to Slurpy.
Widget Bug
There seems to be a where when you click on an article from the widget screen, the app goes to open, and always crashes. Happens both on iPad and iPhone. If you click a second time, the app launches properly! Fix?
No text wrap
Good app. Lost text wrap on my iPad 2 when upgrading to IOS 7. Hope they fix that problem soon.
Nice app but FIX IT FOR THE NEW IPHONES
The app content is amazing but for the fact that the app displays information about apple products, it is poor. The app has not yet been updated for the new iPhones (5, 5s, 5C, 6 or 6 plus), six months after the 6's release. I am appalled. Get it right Crafted.

For a site praising apple so much, I'm surprised that almost a month is over and still no iPhone X support

Great App, but you need to update it for iOS 7 as its not working correctly on the ipad since the OS was updated.
iPhone 6 Plus?
Still no update for the iPhone 6 Plus screen? Looks a bit stretched out at the moment.....
Screen size
It's a shame this app hasn't been updated to fit a 5s. Not really overly loving this big THICK black borders thing very much.

The app just updated and it's broken!! The app launches and automatically crashes!! Doesn't load at all!
Awesome start, missing features
This is really a great first start, but it is a few features off a 5 star app in my opinion (I will update my review once/if they implement them). 1. Custom notifications By default it just sends push notifications for certain stories, and for some people that's fine. But I want to have notifications for every article published, so having a way to choose the frequency/granularity of notifications would be a welcome addition. 2. "Breaking" and "Feature" tags One thing I really miss from the web version are the tags for breaking and feature stories. Some way to set those apart at a glance would make this app even more useful. 3. Paid version to remove adds It's great that the app is free, but I would be willing to pay a few bucks to remove the somewhat distracting ads on every page. 4. More obvious day separator When scrolling through the list of articles, it would be nice to have a more obvious separator between each day (rather than small date stamps), perhaps similar to the letter separators between names in Address Book. 5. Mark as read A way to mark an article as read would be awesome. Perhaps even just reducing the opacity of the read article slightly so the unread ones stand out more. 6. App badge With the above feature added, it would be great to have the app icon badge display the number of unread articles. Again, this could be an option in a settings menu. 7. iPad version The form factor of the iPad would make it ideal for an AI app. Otherwise I really enjoy the app. Love the swipe feature to move between articles!!
Why not optimised for iPhone 6
was waiting for an update. Everything still stretched out on an iPhone 6. Kind of ironic that a apple rumour app isn't kept up to date!

Doesn't work in iOS 10
Won't connect to network to load content. Fails to recognize wifi as well as cellular connection that are available. Poor QA
Beautiful design!
Just downloaded it. Can't believe how beautiful this app is, really well designed. Nonetheless, there may be some tweaks and improvements to make, such as Facebook integration. Great work for the initial release!
Layout
Really good app!! BUT since it was updated the formatting on iPad does not work very well, as it requires you to scroll everywhere rather than having it on the whole screen which is a major negative.

Paid for subscription, but still get ads
I use this app daily and love it, but the latest version delivers ads even though I am a paying customer. I don't appreciate having to view ads on a paid product.
Not good
Hate to say it but dumpt this from my iPt —unusable unless you have extremely good eyesight. On my iPad 3, OK but still a strain using the iPhone version. Probably will stick to Safari until iPad version comes out.
