Number One
The BEST Apple app on the web. Congrats to you & keep on keeping on. Cheers
Just a blank black screen….
Not sure what’s going on, but this is the third or fourth time the screen is just black, no news, no headlines.
Great app for everything, Apple
This is a great app we’ve due for many sources including 9to5Mac and MacRumours.
Needs a Vision Pro app version
An Apple Watch and Apple TV app version would not hurt either.
Nice app but could have better content control
A MacHash developer reached out about a previous post where I pointed out the horrific ads. He was accurate that the ads are not MacHash ads but instead ads from the content short I was looking at. He was right. On the home page for MacHash the ads are sensible and unobtrusive. But when I go into the content for certain providers is when I get the full screen, in your face, horrendous ads. So I’m changing the rating. I like MacHash, I have used it for some time. But if it is just going to aggregate the sites page then they should expose options to block ads or use the iOS built in ad blockers. If they gave you some control over these then I would raise it to 5 stars. Because of I view these sights in the browser I have that option and from the look of it they are just showing the sites page in their container.
Rely on this app and recommend it highly.
This collects everything you need/want to know about Apple from news to reviews to predictions.
It never works.
It never works all I get is blank screens.
Great news, slightly annoying ads
Good news, various sources. The ads can get overbearing… but also a very inexpensive option for no ads.
Deleted the app
I’ve had this for years and unfortunately I’ve finally decided to get rid. The scrolling is poor and accelerates without much control. When you click on an article, the inclusion of adverts and banners means the page loads with glitches. The results are very buggy with continual refresh and vanishing content.
Great but UX is veeeeery bad and poor and add auto removed ads from websites
I hope you check all problems and solve the ux problems and scrolling fixing is very speedy and not smoothly and must improve ui to be the best and improve speed the app and browsing and i hope you care about auto adblocking from websites removed all ads now to many apps add this future and i hope you to, one of them the “Brave browser” app auto removing ads, and improve fast loading- Bringing technology news from Tech news app to machash app, only tech news (android, ios, windows, gaming) , so we can get tech news in just one app, not two. If you are working on these features I would like to purchase the premium option and give you 5 stars ⭐️ from you and would like to add new features to improve the app. Honestly, I liked the application, but it has some problems that I hope to solve so that the experience is better
Excellent App & Dev
First off, this app is fantastic. It has every site for Apple/Mac/iStuff you could possibly need/want, and you can choose which sites show up in the main feed. It is a literal plethora of news and information. If you’re an Apple nerd, you need this app. Second, the app itself works flawlessly. I have been using it on various devices for many, many years and almost never encounter any problems. Feeds refresh and update quickly and articles and sites load smoothly. In the *extremely* rare case an issue pops up, it is quickly addressed and back in working order at an impressive speed. Finally, the developer is first-rate. The app is well maintained and replies to user feedback are handled quickly, politely, and professionally - truly an example to his peers. The premium upgrade is worth every penny, not just to remove the ads, but to support a developer of this caliber. I highly recommend this app, and that you check out his other app, TechNewsTube, for all non-Apple-related tech news, as it is just as excellent and informative as MacHash.
Constant popup ads
Videos will pop up in the middle of reading the article and half the time I can’t close them.
Automatic Dark Mode
It’s just a strange idea to enable automatic dark mode based on location. Why don’t you implement it based on the light sensor?
New version is a big step back ...
The newest version has all kinds of ads for paid premium subscriptions. On top of that the ability to quickly swipe through the articles appears to be gone. This was one of the best features of the app. You use to be able to but now the app takes you to a web version of the article. In order to view the next article you have to exit the browser and then go back to the list of articles and then select the next article you want to view. The user experience is much more cumbersome than it used to be unfortunately.
Needs push notifications and widget
My only 2 feature requests that would make this 5-star l is if the app offered (customizable) push notifications support for sites as well as (at least one) app screen app widget tile.
Started crashing … (UPDATED)
App used to work GREAT. Now it crashes after a few seconds. Not sure what’s going on, but the developer needs to fix it. EDIT: The developer responded and fixed it!!!
Absolute junk
Nothing but full screen ads that fill the screen every 3-5 seconds. Do your self a favor; don’t even bother to download this.
It was surprisingly cool
Yeah, I though I try to take a chance to learn a bit more with the free Apps. That was kind of exciting plus you get a chance to read about history and news. Yeah, it was good!
Doesn’t honor Reader settings
I’m a premium member. I want to use Reader mode for all sites, and MacHash claims to support this. But it does not. And I don’t want to try to set Reader mode for each site individually, even if that option did work. And when I select to use Safari instead, it opens that in a tiny pop-over column to the right, instead of a full page Safari browser. The in-app browser is also horribly broken, too. Is there a single view that you can give me that will actually work the way I want?!?
New layout wasting a lot of space
The new layout has big white spaces between news headings. A lot of space wasted on iPhone X and 9.7” iPad Pro. No way to adjust it. Awful idea and implementation!

Update night mode
Really enjoy the app. Just wish the night mode feature looked better. Similar to twitters night mode.
App Makes Alarm Noise
Overall good Apple new aggregate minus the issue that came back. It’s annoying to have the app open and randomly a beeping sound starts. Uninstalling and not installing back this time.
Not sure what is better about this version
Ever since the new version, the Done button at the top left on my 6S+ no longer works. Great way to read articles but I'm afraid I'll have to stop using it until another update fixes this new bug.

Ridiculous ads ruin the app
I’ve started using this app less and less and going directly to the sources because someone decided these full screen ads that emerge as you scroll were a good idea. The problem is most of the time these ads are finicky and don’t load so you just see a massive black screen over the text or it flickers. At the end of the day people are coming to apps like this to read content but when you make trash decisions like this that make articles unreadable - what’s the point? I can go on Apple News and subscribe to the same channels and minus the missing comments section it’s a much better overall experience. But apps like this will cry about being Sherlocked when you did it to yourself.
Almost perfect!
Love the app, use it every morning. First the news, then the "Apple" news with my morning coffee :) Two quick suggestions. I always leave the refresh on manual, so a small "refresh" button would be great. I know the pull-down method is just as simple, but it's just not as handy. It almost always takes me 2 or 3 tries. Secondly, the new design is great too, but please make the "Done" button a million times (bigger?) easier to tap. Since the update, it's basically broken in design. The area of response on that button is ridiculously small and annoying. I'm on an iPhone 6 and it seriously sometimes takes spam-tapping to get it to finally go, which is twice as irritating in the morning before coffee kicks in ;) Cheers, keep up the great work!
App doesn't refresh news reliably
Takes days to get a new feed.
Great
Beautiful overhaul. Con: the ad at the bottom of the screen :-( such a let down.
Ad more blogs of technology, Please !!! 😜
I can’t see but I see now and is ok Thanks!
Annoying flashing ads
Deleted app after update.
All the tech news u need!!
Nice
Giant Ads in a really ugly app
Doesn’t really compare well to just using a browser.
Good App but...
The most annoying this about this app - it sells itself as an app where you can read all the latest news about Apple related stuff. But EVERY post is only a paragraph long and ends with "Read the rest of this post here..." - It's VERY frustrating! I don't want to Open App - Click on News Item - Then Click on Article - Then click again to read the rest of the news item.... Too cumbersome. Either have the news article in full or don't have it.
#AlwaysThere
Have had this app since almost the first day I bought my iPhone 3G way back in 2008, which probably isn’t true. Probably around ‘09 more like. Great source for aggregation of Apple-related news/rumors. ALWAYS SOMETHING TO READ! Love this app!
DOESN'T WORK
After a couple of years of good app use, the app has stopped loading and is worthless. I tried deleting it and bringing it back but still doesn't load. Because it doesn't load I can't reach out for help on the app. I'm very disappointed
My first stop for mac news.
Fast news in front of you, simple concept well implemented.
Buggy release
New version crashes constantly.
Great App but Where Is The Search!
Provides a great platform without a functional search option to look up a specific topic
Black bar
Black bar at bottom of app, very annoying
Broken
The app will not load.
Just one problem..
Great apart from one issue with the last update it became universal but on the iPad it is now landscape only! Hate apps that do that please give us an option I us my iPad in landscape when I really really have to.
Great app shame about the AD placement.
Been using this app since day one great for all apple news and info but since app update the add placement really looks out of place.
Nice app - bad add
I use the app a lot to read the latest news. One dislike; the admob adds just below the 'back' button. Thats probably intentionally placed at that position so it makes you hit an add by mistake too often. Bad for advertisers (they pay for each hit) and an annoyance to users.
Long time Fan!
Great App
MAJOR BUG…
…fix it ASAP, it auto-redirects to browser or Pandora or who knows. Will delete app if this is not fixed soon. It should never be able to happen.
#awesome
fantastic app, however since the latest update when sharing to twitter I get an error saying the connection to twitter has failed.
Started getting connection errors
I use this every day, but lately I've been getting connection failed errors. Other apps connect okay.
