Our community has just changed their text nixle’s on to Ever bridge and has gotten more easier now with seeing where incidents are at and different places reports I would suggest this app if your county has approved of making it.

Set up alerts with my county and it told me to install this app. Utterly completely useless! Cannot configure correctly. Tries to add me to a system on the other side of country. Deleted
Great, but..
Great app for communicating / notifying in a range of circumstances, from routine business to major / critical incidents. Only issue is, for the past 3-4 week, I don’t appear to be getting push notifications (despite being set up correctly) and I can’t find any route to get app support.

I got an alert about a recent thunderstorm with hail coming my way and told my spouse to pull the truck in the driveway and within seconds of pulling it in a large hail storm erupted! Saved our vehicle for sure, awesome app!

Bugs in Notification Feed
When I launch the app to review and delete notifications in the feed (that I know are there because of an alert), sometimes the feed shows no notifications at all, until I close the app entirely and reopen it. The same bug applies to deleting notifications in the feed; when I launch the app, the icon that when tapped should show options for deleting notifications instead shows none of those deletion options, until I close the app entirely and relaunch it.

Unable to use
Apparently I need an organization code for New York State. Web site login doesn’t show you this and no place in login process to find it. Guess I’ll just be using the web. At least it works.
False Alerts
Sends messages not in English. Also calls randomly with a test message. Good idea
Needs photos of the missing person
I go to that area frequently but how can I notice if I happen to see them if I don’t have a photo to go off of?

Horrible app. DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP FOR EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS! I’ve been trying to use the app off and on for several years and still can’t get past the sign-up phase. Unable to subscribe to any location’s notifications. Anytime I try to use this or make changes it keeps asking me to sign in, but once I submit my information it just tells me I already have an account. DO NOT RELY ON THIS APP FOR EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS!
No Notifications
Even though I have notifications turned on, it doesn’t push a banner alert to my screen. Only after opening the app can I see the alerts that were sent. Using IPhone
Didn’t override do not disturb in iOS14
Since Sep 27 I’ve not been able to click on the 3 dots and delete messages from my feed… this is both on my iPad & iPhone… 04/07/22 still having problems despite the recent upgrade and replacing my phone 🤯

The push notifications work fine, but for the love of God, please make the feed the first thing you see in the app when it loads! The need to navigate through a bunch of menus just to mark the notifications as read is super annoying.

Selection is tedious
I've been using Everbridge for a while, and getting alerts WAY outside of my own neighborhood. Not that those areas are not important but I don't need to know about a power outage in southeast when I'm in upper northwest so I finally went in to see if I could adjust my desired locations. Do you know how many neighborhoods are listed in Everbridge? I do - nearly 150. Again, that's important but you cannot do one big "deselect" - you have to uncheck the ones you don't want, one. At. A. Time. Tedious. It's this way on the website as well, not just the app.
Useless ... with wildfires 10 miles away!
I live in Colorado and the 8th (as of this morning) largest wildfire in Colorado history is less than 10 miles from my home. I spent an hour jumping through all their idiotic hoops to get my account setup. And now, when I'm finally ready to subscribe to the freaking EVACUATION alerts I need, it won't let me log in! I enter my credentials in the login screen and it tells me the account already exists! No duh! I'm trying to log in to the account you just said I created successfully! So don't get this app unless you're wanting to contribute to the company's profits ... if you want actual useful alerts to keep from dying look somewhere else.
Keypad covers the Request Verification Code button
I am unable to link text subscriptions because the keypad to enter my phone number covers the Request Verification Code button!! I’m using an iPhone 12. The page does not scroll to give me access to the button. Come on folks….don’t you test your apps for something as simple as this!!!! Linking Text Subscriptions Link existing text message subscriptions from 888-777 or 692-692 to your profile. App is trash
This app used to be good, I don’t know what happened. I thought I was signed up for my area, but I keep receiving notifications and emails from a township that is like 50 miles away from me. I went into the app to address my settings, and I was only signed up for two areas that aren’t even relevant to me. When I tried to change them and search for my area, it kept telling me my area did not exist. Then I went to check the map and it kept kicking me out out of the map. I’m just going to delete this app. I used to work for Bucks County 9-1-1 and that’s how I got started with Nixle and Everbridge and they used to be great resources but now they’re terrible. I don’t know what happened or what you guys did to it.
No notifications
I don’t receive notifications of incidents in my area like I used to. I’m not sure what’s happening, but I see other people in my area getting notified.

Iphone 📱
There is nothing except for my name in the app. An app needs to attract that's when it stays on ones phone. Hoping to see new stuff added soon.
Not useful
Signal-to-noise ratio is approximately 0. I don’t need an alert every 30 minutes for two days straight about flash flooding because it’s raining. There are basically no settings but like 20 useless buttons in the UI that make you think maybe you just haven’t checked the right place.
