Recommend
Good so far very consistent
Странный на минимальной сложеости
На минимальной сложности слишком хорошо играет, что я не могу выиграть. Но иногда, в какой-то момент начинает откровенно поддаваться. Играть неприятно по сравнению с аналогами
Great chess app!
I really enjoy the difficulty scaling of the AI. My only complaint is that my purchase on osx has not transferred to the ios app. I'm still waiting for a response from the developers about if it is possible to use this osx license on my phone
What did you do????
Now the app is very slow to open on my Mac. It won't open on my Mac bbok pro. Not a good upgrade in my opinion.
keeps switching to rated mode
every time i open the app it switches me out of training mode and into rated mode. this started happening recently since last update or two.
top shelf.
i have this app for as long as i think it came out. incredible app. it’s most likely the longest app ive had on my phone. lol. fantastic i love it. great job guys keep it going
Terrible chess
This game is just terrible I don’t even know how to explain!!!!!!!!!!! And I can’t even start over!!!!!!!😡
Fun
I have always known how to play, but I am learning how to play better.
Not great
Clunky interface, can't even put fullscreen. Losing my sight on imac
Fantastico
Per un vero appassionato di scacchi l’app più adatta per migliorarsi
This APP continues to be how all other chess apps ARE MEASURED!
After years of continuous updates and marvelous improvements, Chess Pro is still cutting edge improvements and how all other chess apps in the App Store are measured and compared. Skip the silly and goofy “animated” and weak chess apps that fail at the ability to be configured to levels, play backs, and strategic adjustment. This app is the what all chess apps developers strive to achieve, but never copy. This app continues to blow me away, and is light years ahead of its closest competitor in technical ability - and I have tried 95% of all chess apps and desktop software. Lastly, I have to say it it is an improvement and a PLUS this app has lasted so long (with constant improvements) WITHOUT being “phased-out” whilst the developers come out with a brand new PAID replacement app, forcing you to “re-purchase” the “new and improved” app, or choosing to sell updates and improvements as “in-app purchases”, as is the case of the low-rent developers that must rely on this mercenary behavior to make money, since the quality and reputation of the app has stagnated and no longer generates money! Cheers!
A waste of my hard earned $$
Game won't even open on my Mac. Crashes the second it tries to open.
AJD
Fair play
No sound,,,
I can’t hear the sound from the program. The setting menu doesn’t work
levels
i'm not much of a chess player. level one is easy to beat but level 2 i can't win so a little more nuance on the levels would b welcome
Great way to learn!
I’m new to chess and so much appreciate the training mode.
Tiny Screen Makes it almost unplayable
Not sure why the developers forgot to give us full screen feature. As a result, it is so tiny it's very hard to see the board on a large screen. Even on my MacBook Air the game only takes up a quarter of the screen. This is a simple UI fix, which would make the game that much more enjoyable..
Good chess program, a little buggy
The rated games are good but some of the solutions to the mating puzzles seem to be broken, they don't always work even if you give the correct solution.
Crasht wel heel erg vaak...
Jammer data het programma vaak crasht.
bastante bueno
ai he podido agrandar la pantalla
Lots of great features
Just downloaded but seems like a great game packed with features. Plenty of boards and pieces to choose from
Ripped off
I just bought this app for my MAC. Not only did my entire remaining gift card amount get expended (almost twice what this app was priced at.... but I cannot open it - it keeps crashing.
Really Wonderful Program
1st time using the pro version and I'm sure it will help me improve my skill level
Good game: would like instructional tutoring
It would be great in the training mode if there was a voice explaining why it wants me to make one move or another.
Great Chess Game
Love the trainer mode. Extremely detailed
Resize Button has gone?
Why is there no longer an option to make the chess pieces bigger? Very disappointing, regret downloading this Upgrade!
fun
level up with Chess Pro
Excellent update
I was happy with the previous version but the latest update seems to have improved performance as well as visuals. I’m particularly fond of the new running commentary that was added.
Зря купили Pro
Почему не сохраняется онлайн игра когда я ухожу оффлайн?
cool game
would have given 5 stars but the learning mode doesnt actually teach you anything it just suggest moves to make and for somebody who last played in 5th grade (14 years) that was the hugest selling point and it kinda let me down but its a cool game though for sure just wish the training mode actually "trained"
Got a bug
Annoying bug where taken pieces are replaced by letters
Great
Great
Don’t buy
Absolute jokers, do not buy. Won’t let you play against friends. These are rip off artists !!!
Great buy
I just spent seven dollars on a chess game and this is far better
Glitch
First impressions are underwhelming. First, match options are only available in portrait mode. Then there is a glitch with pawn promotion - the options are unclear. And you can't zoom.
amazing set of features
great way to learn chess, good price for everything under the hood
Can’t play a friend
Been trying to play via game centre with my friend and cannot connect, please tell me I have not just payed £6.99 for something that is broken. Also checked the forums, last post was 2010. Is there still any support for this game?
Nice app with lots of learning modes
Great app with lots of learning modes. I like that it has an iphone and ipad version too. I purchased it because it is the only one with a Mac app, but the Mac app really needs a full screen mode. Then it would be 5-stars.
Bien
Sencillo pero bien
I can learn this
very nice
Not such a good app any more. Shame.
So I used to moan about the begging for reviews, when the app worked. Now it doesn't work. The rating score is not visible and appears as dashes. The take chess pieces are no longer symbols but letters. After about 5 minutes of use, the screen flashes rendering the app unusable. Shame. It didn't need improving. Now it needs repairing. And the annoying begging messages still pop up.
Good
I enjoy this chess app. Lots of theme options, many modes to mix things up and the dynamic difficulty is a nice feature. I wish puzzle mode had a button for Next Puzzle. Perhaps the “forward move” arrow could become next puzzle while in puzzle mode. I also would like random color as an option. I have the Pro version and another popular chess app and use them both, depending on my mood.
Migliorabile
Troppo rapido. Serve orologio per partite a tempo!
