NOT fair OR balanced
Today is the closest I have come to canceling the subscription I have had since 1987. Can’t we all celebrate that the new Pope is an AMERICAN without a political Trump-bashing headline? Also, I am tired of poor grammar, poor spelling, lousy writing (locals) and weird URLs that cover up part of articles. Those links appear to be hacks because they take me to “unsafe” pages. At least running a whole sentence together without spaces isn’t as prevalent.
Would be higher but...
iPhone app works very well. Android not so much. Keeps losing my subscription. Content is okay. USToday is an arm of Dems so beware. Good for everything but politics. Just saying...

Not the paper
I want to read the paper, just like a printed edition, turn the page and see all the ads , etc.

The Times is a great source for local news and reporting. The app is easy to use and very convenient.
App keeps crashing
Usually in the morning. You can get to some articles but the e-paper doesn’t always load . Almost like it is hung up trying to load a commercial/advertisement that locks up the paper. The other possibility is you haven’t published the paper until after 10:00 am. Very frustrating!!

Did not get paper today! This happens about once a week! Please try to fix this problem.
E-paper is always Accessible
I’ve read the Shreveport Times for over 40 years and cannot imagine a day without it. The app allows me to read whereever we travel! I love it!

Buyer beware, what a ripoff. I paid for subscription but cant read articles marked as for subscribers. Customer service non-existent.

News is good. We lived out of state for several years. It was great staying informed of home issues.

App is very unstable and freezes up while using. Format of the newspaper is poor and hard to use.

I appreciate being able to access our local news online. The mobile app is pretty easy and stories are accessible.
Newspaper
The Shreveport Times is the standard for the majority of readers in NWLA. Thanks for giving readers options. I discontinued the “paper” edition in favor of being able to get it on the internet…less expensive, but I did miss it when my internet went out recently. Miss the days when it was published locally, though…just saying.

Poor design
I don’t mind having to pay for a subscription but I hate that every article I click on I have to restore my purchase or activate my subscription. This is not enjoyable and makes me want to use the app.
The Times
App has a serious problem. When icon is tapped it asks you to go to the App Store to update to get to the Times content, even though it has already been updated. It is not a one time occurrence, happens every time.

Worst free app ever
Every time I open this app it tells me I need to upgrade to newest version, even if I just come back into it after allegedly upgrading it. Been that way for about a week, but I give up trying.
