Life changing app
Been a subscriber to the publication for years and it has drastically improved my walk with Christ. Highly recommend. A wonderful daily resource. God bless!
Poor c
Can’t follow the meditation because you’re not allowing it anymore
Scrolling
Scrolling is annoying when view changes so quickly
On again off again
Fed up with this app. Just when you want to enjoy the mass readings, reflections, and a song of worship, you have to log in again. I’ve never had an app where this continues to happen all the time.
How many devices can I be logged in on at the same time?
I was told when purchasing the app up to four devices can be logged in at the same time. Right now, though I can only login on one at a time. Can you fill me in on what the answer is? Trying to get answers from anyone associated with this app has been almost impossible.
Essential to my daily life
Makes easy to read the messages that God has for me thru His word…. Thank you for this app!!!
Something Went Wrong
Data could not be loaded Try Again, and again, again…. Oh boy! Still trying to
Suggestions
I’ve been a subscriber for a long time and love the app but am reluctant to give it a 5 star rating for these reasons: 1) The top and bottom margins are too wide and take up more space than necessary. 2) The constant animation caused by my scrolling up and down is distracting. 3) The banner pointing to the meditation is not required since most readers are aware of its location and is not hard to reach. Otherwise every other feature is wonderful especially the change to the psalms where the response is provided after each section. Thank you.
Was really loving the app buuuuuttt
I was really enjoying using my app in Mass. I have difficulty with lighting in my Church so having this with me helps. Anyway, last weekend I went to use it in Mass, the Mass part of it, and it was denying me access to it. I could do the daily readings but I really wanted to follow along with Father. I uninstalled the app on my iPad but now I can’t even get the readings part. I’ve lost access to the whole thing. This is crummy!!!
Can’t create an account🙁👎Can’t sync
Constant password error, even though I have repeatedly followed the requirements for creating the ideal password. This means I can not sync my subscription with my other mobile devices, such as my iPhone. This has been a constant error for at least a couple of years now and really needs sorting out. I live in the UK so it can’t be that difficult. Please developers this is a basic error that really needs your attention.🙏🥺
My access to the Daily Readings
This is a wonderful app which I use almost daily seven though I subscribe to the print version! It's perfect for when I am on the go or if I have a few minutes during my lunch break. I have even used it on occasion during Mass at our church.
Problem with app
I subscribe to the Word among us annually. However I’ve recently have experienced a problem with my subscription involving a denial of service. When I try to access the complete Mass, a screen pops up asking me to subscribe. I have already paid for a digital subscription. I may have to cancel my subscription. & request a refund if the problem persists.
Bookmark
The Word Among Us is a great daily spiritual support for anyone. The only thing that the digital edition is missing is a bookmark…. Otherwise I love it as you can use it wherever you are.
Only in America
Wish I had known it only uses the American Bible. I live in Australia, so not much use using it at Mass. Maybe it’s location specific nature could be more prominent.
None
App was always good until today when I can’t open it. Is there a glitch in the app or is my iPad too old?
Best App I Have
Listening to the daily readings and meditation is a great way two start your day.
Stopped working even though subscribed
I paid for the annual subscription through Apple iCloud. Everything was fine for a while. Then one day at Mass, I pulled up the app like I always do and got a message that I needed to subscribe. Subscription still valid though Apple. Tried creating an account with different email addresses without success. What happened to this app?
Love the App, but..
My one issue is, if you forget your password there is no “forgot password” option and you are locked out of the account until you can get some support. And if you are able to get in on another device, there is no way for you to change the password on your own so that you can get back in, wherever you choose. This happened when I had a new phone I could get in on my old phone but had no way of accessing it on my new phone.
Keeps crashing
Downloaded this app and went for a 2 week trial period. Found it extremely useful and loved it. Now that the trial is over I decided to go with the monthly subscription. After keying in my password I tried opening the app but it keeps closing and crashing on me. Kindly rectify the problem ASAP.
Saving the Day
This app starts my day, everyday - without fail, I’m connected to the Father, the Son, the Holly Spirit. Thank you God, Almighty Father for loving us and me!
Login issues
I need to log in every single day! This app is not working properly. Hope you can fix this soon! I’ve been a customer over 25 years. I loved reading on my kindle but this year that’s not possible. I wish you’d go back to using that app. Now you won’t let me even write a review!!!! Suzie
Something changed? enter my username and password every morning
Something changed that requires me to enter my username and password every day. I love the content of app but this extra step is annoying.
cant view
i cant seem to view the daily reading, just the date on my ipad.underneath the date,it just has daily reading -eng-GB,then its blank.is it because i'm in the UK?not happy with this
Please fix the application!!
This is a wonderful app, I always use at every Mass. But lately the app shuts down every time I want to access the monthly readings and publications
Worst
One of the worst apps ever!
App not working
The app worked for a couple of days and it was great! Now it keeps kicking out, please fix the bugs : )
Faithfully
I have been using The Word Among Us for over 40 years. It has been a constant guide in my life and is always just what I need. I now use the digital form but also pass along my book to grandchildren and others I think will benefit by it. Thank you for being SO real and not too lofty so that we normal people are able to relate!! God bless all of you!!
Can’t open
Have not been able to open app for 2 days now. On both of my devices it just keeps trying to load.
Good companion to print
Usually bring the print version to mass, but this digital version is great, too, and keeps improving, such as the addition of audio.
Disappointed
This will not work on my new Generation 9 IPad. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. I just installed the iOS 15.3 fix and it still does not work. It gives me page 1 information when I change pages, even though the page number at the bottom changes, the content is page 1. I do receive the paper version but prefer the digital. I have contacted WAU, but they don’t seem to be able to help.
Thank You for this app!
I use the Word app everyday to read the daily word. It provides great reflections on the scripture.
The App is not opening
Downloaded the App and it’s not opening.
Inspiring
I always get so much out of all the articles & testimonies every month. Much spiritual wisdom is shared in WAU!
Charging the poor who want the word of the lord?? Disgusting
So very discouraging and disappointed to see you need to pay for most of the readings that we all know, the people simply sharing them on their app, did not write. During covid especially is when the word of the lord should be free to anyone and everyone. Greed at its finest.
