what a perfect app
this is exactly what i needed, absolutely amazing. if there was an in app tip I would absolutely give some. the only feature I would like to see is a stats page with your score over time
App completely changed overnight
I loved this app but now they replaced all the features with worse features like you get usage of the word in sentences, it is not there. The replaced meaning with google translate which means it is not fast anymore!!
Option
It’s a good app, but it would be much better if they stopped suggesting old words that I said correctly every time I did the challenge. Like maybe a filter or an option where I could disable old correct words? Or at least if I said it correct 3 times in a row?

Pronunciation
The app is simple but very well thought, but at the age of ai, pronunciation should be a part of the app, I would gladly pay for an app with pronunciation. e.g. the moment you see the word to soldify the artikel. That’s why three stars.
Minimalist Perfection
Originally, the App had no plurals, declensions and no option to translate. Also you had to pay $1 so you could the game with your favorite words (it was random words otherwise). Now, with all the new features it is perfect for building vocabulary!

Buggy/Missing Words
Love the idea of the app, I feel like it could be very useful for studying if optimized. Issues I’ve noticed is more often than not when I attempt to do the flash card vocabulary game it crashes, and many words aren’t included in the app.

Worth the dollar
My favorite feature is collecting “favorites” so I can review past mistakes. I’ve definitely seen improvement in a couple months of using the app. It also exposes me to new words but I wish it had more complete translations and/or example sentences. I’d also like to see it tell me more about my progress… what’s my average score, not just my latest score? Within my favorites, how often have I gotten each word correct vs. incorrect?

Decent, but a little basic
This app has helped me learn the gender of some nouns I’m unfamiliar with, but in its current form it’s a little too bare-bones to be helpful. I know the app is not meant mainly to help with vocabulary, but it would be helpful to see the English translation to jog my memory or help with words that I don’t know. Also, the words seem to lean too heavily on words that follow consistent rules in their genders, like words that end with -in or -ung and are always feminine. I can see how this app could help with learning this pattern, but once you know it, it becomes repetitive to have so many nouns with the same endings, especially in the “advanced” and “expert” difficulties, which I hoped would include words that have genders that are more difficult to predict and have to be memorized.

GREAT! But one big problem
Why aren’t there English translations or translations of the words provided? We’re obviously not going to know all of them, and mastering articles quickly does mean we need to know what the word is in our native language, German isn’t the kind of language where you intuitively just learn the articles of every word like Spanish. Other than that, fun app!

Would be nice to use Apple translate so you could translate offline and to have information on Dativ, Nomativ and Accusitiv cases.

Probably the beat app for learning german. It helps me so much while talking and learning german.
Needs to have offline english meaning
It shouldn't be dependent on Wifi, that makes it inconvenient for on the go learning. There also needs to be a definition somewhere because learning in a vacuum already makes a hard subject impossible if I can't mame connections.
Good, simple app
I wish it would give you the definition of the word as you practice. I imagine this app is used mostly by people learning German, so it would be helpful for when an unfamiliar word comes up. If it at least showed the definition after you guessed der/die/das, that would be really helpful. I do appreciate that this app exists at all, though! Very good for some practice.
Well structured, but doesn’t give translations.
This seems to be geared toward learners who already have a very large vocabulary, and has little use to beginner or lower-intermediate level learners. The words in question appear on the screen, but if you don’t already know what the word means, you’re left randomly guessing the article and then never knowing what the word meant! How is a student supposed to remember the article association like that? Big oversight by the app developers in my opinion, and the reason I won’t be using it anymore.

Not for English speakers
If you are an English speaker looking for help on German articles, keep looking. The article "game" gives you words but doesn't tell you what they mean. There is an accompanying dictionary that makes you look up words and then gives you definitions...in German.

Very good application
I use this a app mostly for the game but I wish the German words in the game had the meaning translated. I’m learning a lot the Der, die an Das part, but I do not know the meaning for most of the German words. It would be hard to look up in the dictionary every word very time I get a new word. I will definitely give this application a five star when they add the meaning to the German word in the game.

Crashes all the time
iOS 8, iPhone 5s Simply doesn't work. Get to 98% of any level and crash. Disappointed. Not clear if it's ios 8 or the app. Bad. Don't buy until it's confirmed to be fixed.
Nearly perfect for me
I appreciate the rule descriptions. Have not seen them elsewhere. There are only two improvements I would like to see: 1) Option to display definitions of all words on the game screen as words display. 2) Option to repeat an item until a correct response. As one trained in an area of learning psychology, I think it is important that the last response should always be a correct one to help build "muscle memory".

No Plurals & no definitions
1. First there are no plurals within the app. Knowing the article plural wether it changes Gender or stays the same but changes ending is important to know. 2. the in app dictionary is top cumbersome. There is a way to change the language to English to see the definition but it has to be Reset each time I believe. 3. the developer hasn’t updated in a year so this is probably falling on def ears.
