What a terrible app experience!
Horrible UX. Do not recommend.
Great tool
The videos are great. I wish we could sort/select the level of difficulty on their quiz. Or separate the questions completed, answered correctly, etc.
The video player keeps lagging!
The video player keeps lagging! Please fix it asap.
Limited number of questions

Fantastic
Everything you need for free with explanations that actually stick with you!
App is outdated, not functional at times
Several functions including "Back" and "Fullscreen" doesn't work. Also the app is outdated and not easy to navigate.
Great but can’t speed up
Great to have the videos handy, but can’t speed up like in the web version
Need to change speed selection
If you select 2x but ever pause or start a new video you lose to the 2x
Unable to play the video faster on app
Hi , I am unable to play the video of lessons at higher pace . Even if I set it at 1.5x the video is still playing at 1.0x
Solid way to review and clean up weak areas
Loving the materials as someone who has already scored a 680 and is aiming for 700+
App’s basic features are not working properly
Man , u need a better developer.. the speed of video is automatically decreasing after i pause a video. Full screen option doesn’t let me pause or play the video, i have to completely exit the app for doing the same. I am dissatisfied with the way this app is designed. But the content is good. I need a refund for this… 🧐
Offline video
Hello Magoosh, The app is very good and handy. But it will be very handy if there is an offline option for video contents, just like the YouTube offline video option. The cellular network is not so good during commute and the data is costly. I hope, you will implement this in next your next update. Thanks Magoosh.
Great but...
Great content, I like it better than Manhattan Prep which just drowns you with details and practice, but the app is lacking features that the web version has that are vital to studying. When you click practice problems it does not give you the option to filter by topic or category it’s just all math questions or all verbal questions in random order. That makes it impossible to practice specific topics on your mobile device. I know the database is there so it shouldn’t be difficult to add that feature that just seems like a huge miss that every other app has addressed already. Also you must be connected to the internet which is not an issue for me most of the time but can be a huge issue for some.
Take the test options are not working
I am not able to take the tests for the suggested reads
Thank you sirs at Magoosh
These are some of some of the good things people do
No option to custom practice
There isn’t an option to custom practice to set difficulty levels like then PC version .
Convenient but missing one feature
The only thing lacking in this app are the links to related videos on similar subjects.
Doesn't appear to play sound for video
Latest iOS version, just downloaded app and no sound in videos.

Magoosh is Superb!
Hard to believe that the APP is free despite of its exceptionally well-made contents. The instruction videos are broken down to small sessions by different topics, from 2-20 minutes. One can just go to the topics of their focus or go with the sequence. I have been using the app for some time. Each day after work I learn something on the APP and then practice a little bit. I feel confident that after some more learning, I can do a few practice exams, and I will get a pretty high score on GMAT. Thank you Magoosh team!
None of the buttons in the app are working.

Classroom Equivalent
Mag oohs is a really good product. They've got amazing lessons and the instructors lay down concepts with clarity keeping in mind the varying levels of all their users. Technically, the app does not include the practice questions. This is something that can be included in the app. Also, the videos don't load on some occasions which can get annoying when you've got yourself in the zone. Excluding these, it's great!
Love the materials, but please fix app!
Fantastic materials and very detailed information. I use the web version more often than the app, but recently the app videos doesn’t play anymore. Please fix. Keep up the maintenance and this may just be the best gmat study materials on mobile platform!
Explained in plain English.
I really appreciate Magoosh for respecting my time. I’m in my 40’s, single mom, 2 kids, etc. so I needed a get-to-the-point GMAT study app that I can easily pop on for a few minutes here and there. Magoosh also doesn’t use a bunch of jargon-y terms unless understanding them is needed for the test and then the jargon is translated into layman’s terms. This is what we do in medicine all the time but for some reason I hear business people using jargon as if it’s to their advantage to speak a different language which is confusing for those of us without a business background.
App Doesn’t Work
Magoosh has nice content it’s not accessible via this app. None of the videos play, even after I have tried restarting and uninstalling the app. Everything works fine on their website for me.
Very good for GMAT Prep
Well-thought-out video lessons take you systematically through the topics you need to know for the GMAT. Easy to use, with practice questions and dashboards so you can see how you are doing.
Videos for lessons
Great app but videos won’t play sometimes
Most helpful app
This app is all you need for preparing GMAT! Saved me so much money for studying math. Watching the videos/practicing questions on Maggosh is becoming my new habit!
Can’t play the videos for study
Why can’t I play the study videos??? The video play button doesn’t do anything.
Good app
Good app, taking away 1 star since I'd have liked to be able to purchase specific lessons via an in-app purchase option. Right now it's an all or nothing approach to premium content.
Would be perfect with a few tweaks
The ability to download the videos for offline use would be great so I could study when I don’t have an internet connection. Also some of the info doesn’t display “below the video” on the app as it does on the computer. Developers should work to make the app have the full functionality as the website.
The best GMAT prep
Still can believe it’s free!! Th devs
Huge disappointment! Can’t use offline!
This app might be great, but I wouldn’t know because you can’t view any of the videos or take any of the questions if you’re not connected to the internet! So for anyone who plans on studying on the subway or on a plane, get something else! Really regret paying for this!
Topic Status not accurate and green highlight
The latest update is displaying inaccurate status' for watched and completed. Videos that I have not viewed are showing as Finished or Watched. This is a fantastic mobile app and allows me to study and watch the videos from everywhere, but the latest update has made it difficult to decide what to watch next. I also miss the overall green highlight as it is harder to see the status of each video. I wish it stayed as it was. That said, the content is absolutely awesome and a huge help for the exam.
Good but Not Perfect
Would like to be able to use app/watch lectures offline. Wish interactive practice questions would appear at the end of each video lecture.
Thank you, Magoosh!!
Thank you, Magoosh!! I’m a 33 year old mom and was nervous to take the GMAT after being out of school so long. I crammed for 2 weeks straight using this app and felt like the voice of the math-man was my new best friend. I can’t believe the quality of this free content. I just got my scores back and made a 760. Couldn’t have done it without Magoosh!!
Does not work on ipad
Video lessons will not play
Very handy
The app just contains video lessons, which is what we need on the go. Very handy. Would appreciate if we get some flash cards too. And need an update for ios7. The app is small in its size.
Good But needs improvement
The content and the lectures are good. You guys should work on getting the dashboard and questions to mobile app. It will really help.
Amazing
Great app! Such a liver saver. Videos are breaks down information in an order that’s makes totally sense!
Do NOT update app
it will erase all your data and hard work!! no more timer function also!
Simple and efficient
The app has a simple and appealing UI and performs really well without any crashes or bugs. The app's functionality is restricted to watching videos, which it does seamlessly. I would like to request the Magoosh team to look into the possibility of adding the note taking feature for the videos, similar to the PC version. Due to the absence of this feature, I end up not using the mobile app version a lot, as I prefer taking down notes, which I tend to use at a later point in time for quick reviews of concepts and techniques.
Doesn't do much but stream vids
Works ok in terms of letting you watch videos once you login, and it track if you've viewed them (so you can see that they have been viewed). Doesn't appear to allow you to download the videos within the app, so not much use when commuting/on the Underground. Slightly easier to use than logging in to the website, but that's about it. Also, it doesn't let you take notes on videos.
