Color changes 🤮
What’s up with the ugly color changes?? It was so much prettier to look at with the pastels. Now the red has become brick red. Seriously? Ugh!
Excellent, except sync
Limiting sync to Dropbox prevents Happy Scale from earning 5 stars.
Confusing
The layout and design is confusing, it doesn’t have a goal date, only milestones and it doesn’t clearly show your day to day progress, just some weird graph. It’s confusing tbh. Won’t be continuing on after the trial.
Scales
I suppose a great app for those who are OCD scale users (used to be me) but a standing naked in front of a mirror, “listening” to your body and sticking to your plan is far more useful than an app or a scale. Ditch the scale and the app, start moving in ways that are meaningful, eat well, and pay attention to how you look and feel. That is best feedback you can have.

I’ve been using this app for years, and I’ve honestly never had any issues with glitches or reliability. It’s easy to use, keeps me motivated, and provides all the data and tracking information I need to stay on top of my progress. Changes to app
I’ve used this for several years it’s great however I noticed that now there is no lifetime chart of progress. I really enjoyed that part. It showed progress over the years now that’s not available. You can only see each progress by year now.
Not intuitive
The first time I used it grab my health app data to create the initial chart. But on the following days every time I weighed in I had to manually go to the app to log the data manually. I noticed my last manual entries are not recorded properly so it wasn’t very useful. Also the trial period is only three days which seems sketchy as most apps give you like a week. I’ll stick to Google Sheets.

Log weight and nothing else if you don’t want to pay
I think it ridiculous you can’t add notes next to your weight without having to pay. At this point I’ll just keep a journal.

The app is great, but I hate the predatory subscription model. Bring back a buy option to apps or a lifetime subscription option.

You took my BMI card away
Completely unacceptable to take a feature I already paid for away. I updated the app and was presented with a new subscription to track my BMI separately. NO!!!!!
Love it
I love all the customizable features like goals and predictions; it's a fun way to track your progress and the design is really cute too! I prefer to use this over my fitness pal or more mainstream apps; it's perfect for what I need! <3 However, it’s unfortunate that it chose to switch to a subscription model though - imo it’s unnecessary, and there should be an option to just buy it outright. My review goes down a star for that just because it’s a really simple app so the subscription fee feels very cash grabby. :/
BMI please
For me to pay this much every month, it’s not complicated to calculate my BMI. I’ll be using the Apple Health app instead.
Playful yet unreliable
The app is a nice way to gamify your way to one’s weight goal and get an extra motivation boost from tracking your achievements and weight extrapolations. However, it’s also unreliable. I enjoyed using the app for a few weeks until it was dead today (black screen/app didn’t load). Rebooting my phone, waiting several hours etc. didn’t help. In the end I had to uninstall & reinstall the app to get it working again. Unfortunately, that also deleted all past data defeating the very purpose of the app :( So no more past achievements to be proud of, no more motivating extrapolations and I may as well delete the app & subscription.

Disappointed
Pretty disappointed I’ve been using this app for years and I had to delete purely to create some storage room and upon re-downloading it all my data and information is gone. I have to now pay a crazy amount to get it back. It’s an app to track weight loss it shouldn’t cost so much. Especially when the free version was great!

Subscribed years ago. Great for weight loss and maintaining it. Features are uncomplicated and encourages you to log in your weight regularly.

This is a great option to see trends and statistics if you don’t have a smart scale
I was using this for 2 months and I find it a good choice, I got a body composition scale with an app that includes most of these features built in so no use for the subscription anymore even tho I was subscribed. I’m deducting a star because I think the information could be presented clearer. I found it difficult to really see, say, a monthly trend. I was hoping to track how my menstrual cycle influenced my weight but it’s kind of hard to see that data super clearly or at a glance if you have a large margin of weight tracked over time because it doesn’t show the exact weight itself in the graph markers. So my only tip is to make the graphs clearer by adding exact numbers where the dots are on the graph and not just have to guess based on the Y axis which can become very long with data! Even seeing an up close view wasn’t as clear to me, but that could be personal. It’s worth it to try out!

Little deceiving but still good!
I really like the App but I found the pricing to be deceiving. It showed a price to pay for a year and upon making the payment it charged basically DOUBLE what I believed I was paying because I’m guessing they didn’t show me the pricing in AUD? I think that’s the only way it could have happened! So I’m not very happy about that and am considering asking for a refund.
Simple and wonderful app
Just a brief note to let everyone how super easy it is to use this app, and that it is pretty motivational. Losing weight isn't easy and the way it tracks weight loss is very intuitive and really helps to keep you on track (and stay positive).

Вроде все хорошо в приложении, но главный недостаток - это то, что обещают высчитывать средний вес, а на деле этого не происходит. Я ввела вес 67 кг, этап похудения обновился на 85%. На следующий день поставила вес 68 кг, но средний вес не пересчитался, а этап похудения «откат» назад не сделал.

I love this app I think it’s amazing! I hope the creators could produce a calorie counting app that could combine with this app and somehow also pull my body metrics in too to have it all in one spot that’s not apple health. I love this app so much. I love that you can customize so much of it!! And as someone who is very organized I like that this app shows every detail and has animated confetti when you hit a milestone! I hope the creators keep expanding!
Lost everything
I had this app for 5 years & lost all of my data, I was unable to get it back with the support from the app! Wouldn’t recommend and not reliable when syncing to new phone - easily lost data Very disappointed
A motivational way to view and analyse weight data already in Apple Health
I really enjoy using Happy Scale and am a paid subscriber. It has great features to analyse the weight data in Apple Health, celebrate progress and show the predicted path to hitting your target (be that to go up or down). I find it really motivating to stay on track with my goals. Minus one star because the sync between devices uses Dropbox instead of iCloud, which on an iPhone/iPad app is as dumb as a box of hammers.

Ideas for improvement
App is great for tracking weight but would be great if you could track other related things like measurements and BMI too.
Simple and effective
It’s easy to get caught up in the bells and whistles of some of these newer Health apps. Happy Scale is perfect for me because I’m focused on weight loss. I know what I’m eating. I know how I’m exercising. I just need a simple interface to track my weight. The fact that it gives me some fireworks to celebrate is icing on the cake…of which I’ll take just one bite, thank you. Happy Scale works. Period.
Crashes straight away
I can’t even open the app, it just crashes immediately. I have tried deleting and downloading
Best way to monitor your weight.
Whether your trying to lose, gain or maintain your weight this is the perfect app. So easy to use and provides reassurance to get you out of your head after weighing in. Only reason it’s not 5 star is lack of a watch app. Would be great to be able to see my weight or trends as a complication. Would really help when temptation calls.
The best way to not obsess with the scale
I love this app because it allows me to track my progress in small chunks that I know I can accomplish. I also love the averages and being able to use my 10-day low. Super customizable and very robust. If you need a weight tracker app - look no further. Yes it integrates with Apple health so I get my readings directly from my scale!
Waste
I accidentally deleted the app and then it wouldn’t let me re-download it despite having an active subscription. Absolute waste of money and there’s better options available
