Helps monitor my sleep apnea
I have been using SnoreLab for over 2 years. It has helped me significantly in monitoring by sleep apnea. I recently purchased anti snore pillows and was able to see in the data a reduction in my snoring which confirmed that this addition was beneficial to getting better sleep. If you have sleep apnea this is a great tool to monitor your breathing at night, the data is very useful to your doctor as well.
Frequent Fail to Record
It was great while it lasted. After some time it just fails to record. You begin the recording, go to sleep, wake up and it’s as if you never tapped record. I’ver uninstalled & reinstalled several times; same result.
Hopefully they are done updating app
They broke this app about 3 weeks ago and it hasn’t been the same since. Hoping they finally have it fixed and they leave it alone! Make sure live activities are enabled or it will shut the app down and won’t record any snoring activity
Alarm didn’t go off
My alarm didn’t go off in the morning for work so I deleted the app straight away. I didn’t even bother looking at the results as I was too annoyed.
Confusing to use
I found this app confusing to actually play the audio. I’m still unsure how I managed to do it but I’m not going through that hassle again. The forward and back button doesn’t allow for accuracy, jumps every half an hour and I can’t click a on a specific time to listen to that audio, it jumps to jump to a time further ahead. Frustrating and I’d rather simply record the audio the old fashioned way
Love the app. But….
I think it is one of the best. Unfortunately, in July, price is going up 50%!!! I can see a $2-$3 increase but doubling the annual fee is outrageous!! Looking for an alternative.

Пришлось купить. Иначе не дает даже тестовый период. Первую ночь все отлично записалось с заблокированным экраном. На вторую ночь сделал все так же. С утра встаю приложение закрылось и соответственно ничего не записалось. Третий день. Пробую так же. Проверяю через 30 мин как лег. Опять вылетело. Оставляю экран не блокированным. Просыпаюсь ночью. Телефон нагрелся - приложение вылетело 🤣 за что я заплатил 10 баксов?
Pretty good
I like this app. It’s been helpful and eye-opening for me to see how much I actually snore. However, I’m frustrated because whenever I go to delete the audio, the app gets stuck and crashes. I can’t do anything and I must close it & reopen it. I end up doing this multiple times before I’m able to delete the audio.

it should be free, offering 2-3 nights per week monitoring and history, otherwise your no better than anyone (app) else ripping people off!

have to set up payment to start trial. Didn’t say this until after answering lots of questions. Just waste of time.
Won’t work if you have a French Bulldog
App works great but not when you have a French bull dog sleeping in your room. I put the phone next to me on my bed and even though my dog is across the room in her own bed, it picked it up. I’m thinking I don’t snore at all because all I heard was clover- my dog.
Unreliable
Good in principle but lacks necessary fixes for ongoing issues with out-of-sync timestamps. It’s become impossible to accurately identify session and event timings.
Only free for 5 days
Works great until it is locked unless you pay. A shame you can't use a basic version with ads.
Good Sound Recordings
Sound can be played back. Graph over time shows snore events highlighted in color. A good addition would be to record oxygen saturation in some way (Apple Watch?).
10 bucks a month ha ha ha
The free is a seven day trial. After that, it’s 10 bucks a Month. yeah right. Uninstalled.

Great when it works
This app only works when it wants to. You can record all night and then it will not open properly so that you can end the recording. Therefore that night is lost. They need to fix this.
Nice but not great at data export
This seems like a great app. Been using it for a while. Unfortunately the only way to get your data is to manually download a csv. No cloud based api like other apps have. And no way to trigger the export from another app. Very little data is loaded to apple health. Nice but kind of an island for data.
Amazing
It took me seven months of using this app to discover what I needed to do to minimize my snoring to a minimal level — stay hydrated, use a nasal spray with my head tilted back before bed, wear a nasal strip, and sleep on my side — but this app let me discover that this is what works for me by collecting the data I needed to discover all of these trends. Over half of my nights with the least amount of snoring have occurred within the last two weeks. Although it took me time to figure out what worked, this app was there with me the whole time and I can’t be happier with it.

App used to be great. Now it comes on randomly when I’m not even touching my phone.
Great app
This app does a great job helping me understand what is causing my snoring. I don’t know how to use half the features, but a few I do have helped me pin down the cause of my snoring
Scores vary too much
There are free options that track better. I hoped the scores would be worth the monthly fee, but I would hear epic sounds mislabeled and the scores were not consistent with the playback at all.
Excellent app when it works but this past few months its connections are poor
5 years back I paid £11 for a year and it did everything I wanted. This past 5 months I’ve paid £11 PER MONTH and I think it has failed to record about 15-20%. I no longer believe it to be real value for money. It’s a shame because it used to be very reliable.
Works great
I have REM behavioral sleep disorder, and this app has let me experiment to see which variables affect my crazy nightmares and movement. It’s really creepy to hear myself screaming during a nightmare, but I feel like this app has helped me to narrow down best behaviors for a calmer night. The sound quality is so good, that I can understand my sleep talking perfectly. (Also creepy...) I know this is a snoring app, but it has been a really useful tool for me. Thank you! Sweet dreams... 🤦♀️
Nothing is free
This sucks. The basic recording feature used to be free. Now you get a couple of nights and you have to upgrade and pay. Not worth it.
Good way to track habits
If you keep track of your diet and activities, you can hear how much of a difference a healthy meal makes on your sleep vs eating junk.
Very confusing app
The layout is really confusing. I still can’t find where the recordings have actually been made, the data is presented in a really haphazard way
Sorted (not “snorted”) out a piece of the snoring puzzle!
I wear a snore guard bite plate and that’s hugely helpful. Still had a high score. Decided to use a cool air humidifier and it made the rest of the difference! Thanx SnoreLab!
Great App
Works great hear everything
Not accurate
It used to be able to classify your snoring into loud or epic or whatever accurately. Now it seems like your loud snoring will be classified as epic. Your epic snoring will be classified sometimes as loud. The accuracy has changed in the last couple weeks. I can go back and listen to what they classified as loud and it would clearly be epic. Now I can listen to what they classify as epic and it’s nowhere near epic. I don’t know why the software has changed

Good app to help u see where and when u smite and how loud and also how remedies affect this pattern. And when u stop breathing !

Latest update no longer shuts out nuisance alerts, sometimes the alarm fails to go off

Truly Excellent Sleep Recording Tool
I’ve been using SnoreLab for several years. It is, by far the best app for tracking snoring, but, it is also capable of recording other noises made when sleeping, which can be helpful in diagnosing or becoming aware of other sleep related health issues. For example, Sleep Apnea. With the All Night Recording Setting, one can track loud breathing, coughing, talking in one’s sleep and so forth. This is invaluable for working on poor sleep reasons diagnosis for not just snoring, but other noise related sleep issues. As well, if user talks in his/her sleep, or has a lot of lucid dreams, he/she can hear at least the portion that is loud enough to be recorded! Overall, I believe that I was one of the “legacy” SnoreLab users, and I am glad to have stumbled upon this App Store GEM so long ago!
Money trap
Don’t waste your time. Put in all your information just to find out they want you to pay them 60 dollars a year for the most basic function of recording

Slow and Glitchy
Not sure what they have done to this app recently but is now very slow, buggy and glitchy. It used to work just fine but since recent updates is slow to respond, judders and glitches. Doesn’t work smoothly at all now.

This app has helped me in a big way to troubleshoot my snoring and mild sleep apnea. I like how you can identify factors and trends over time. I highly recommend!
Unwanted Control of phone
The app was fine at recording my snoring but I didn’t realize it also silenced my incoming texts. I did not realize this was a side effect of the app. I put my phone in Sleep Focus mode when I chose to not get calls/texts, but now anytime I might need a text I can not use the app. This inconsistent use makes the SnoreLab app ineffective for me and very disappointing because I liked the results I was getting. In trying to find a fix for this problem, I found the suggestion that I use two phones at night, one to run Snore Lab and one for phone calls again very disappointing. The Snore Lab app creators leave this app available to people who have the ability to own two phones for snore time.
How loud was that actually?
The free App is great for recording snoring incidents but it’s hard to know what volume setting to use when replaying to know exactly how loud the snoring is. Is there a way of judging this? Also there seems to be a glitch, I tried to complete the Sleep Apnea questionnaire and on the IPhone 14Pro the continue button remains hidden by the key pad pop up so I am stuck. I can’t cancel either and now stick on the weight entry screen.
Rubbish
I’ve used this for one night. It claimed I was snoring for over one hour, but when I actually listen to the audio clips I think I was snoring for less than 10 seconds. I set my phone up exactly as the instructions show. Charging, face down, with the Mike pointed towards my pillow. Uninstalling now.
I have to keep uninstalling
If I interrupt the sleep recording for instance if I wake up in the middle of the night and use the phone , the app stops as it senses I’m no longer asleep. But come morning the app sign is still there at the top of my screen as though it’s running. I go to the app and it’s not running. The only way to get rid of it is to uninstall the app then reinstall it. Then it starts afresh as if I’m a new person, all my 9 month data lost . This has happened 3 times now so I won’t be renewing my subscription in January

Went from scores consistently around 17 to 160. Seems a little odd to me… I was a huge fan of the app until this happened.
Does not always record
This app worked fine at the start and now it is not recording any more - I am not sure why this is the case
Update
It updated today and I can no longer see sound waves, they’re really small or non existent. It’s basically a flatline with occasional blips. I use snore lab to monitor not just snoring, but my breathing, restlessness (which often indicates I’m in pain or my breathing is out of sync) and my nightmares. I used to be able to just look at the sound waves to see anomalies but now I’ll have to listen to it all. It’s nigh on useless. Very disappointed. Before this update I was pretty happy with the app. If it stays like this I won’t be renewing my subscription.
