POS app
I was using app all of a sudden everything disconnected. All of my email and retailers are gone. Followed the instructions on reconnecting 8 times. Keeps looping back to the beginning screen. Cannot reconnect emails so I can’t move forward and I lose all of my points. 🤬🤬🤬
Intermittent connection
Works most of the time but every now and then this app doesn’t work.
Wrong date
The system is mostly fun but a lot of the time it can’t read dates correctly and not enough point allowed per week. There should not be a limit.
Won’t connect to apps
This app has disconnected from Home Depot and Amazon to name a couple every time I try to connect Amazon I get an error message I’ve double checked username and password along with settings.
Reward
I just enjoy snapping receipts and earning the rewards. I prefer receding the cash VISA card to use when I want to and it doesn’t expire.
Not worth the time!
I only have 413 points after using several months of receipts and I have downloaded two other reward apps have already made $25 on one after seven days and $15 on the other after four weeks!
Online receipts issues
I have been trying to submit my online receipts in app, but it keeps giving me an error.

Beats other apps, BUT…
I don’t understand why I have to specify who made each individual purchase when I upload my receipts. It feels strange having to answer that. Another con is that the app will approve of my receipt and then some time later, after I’ve thrown mine away, the photo doesn’t go through for whatever reason and now I’ve wasted my time on it. On the other hand, the capture features are very smooth and easy to work. Aside from the survey question at the end of every upload, it’s actually pretty easy. Rewards games also make this more fun. I would say this beats other apps in many ways

Very few receipts are being processed. The closer you get to a higher payment the fewer receipts get processed.
Good rewards app
App works well and gives good rewards. Main issue is that it doesn’t always accept receipts even when the receipt is readable, full receipt, and current.
Where are my coins?!?!
I have so many problems with supposedly blurry receipts and NOT receiving coins for my WAL-MART and Target receipts. Please fix this!

Poor scanning
Constantly having to check if receipts weee actually “accepted”. App shows receipts are taken immediately and you get explosions in the app congratulating you, only to find out next day or two that receipt was labeled old or duplicate. Very inaccurate and misleading. Takes very very very long time for $5. Like 950 points when each receipt generally gives you only 5 points.
Online receipt don’t always work
When I buy things online that go to my email, there are a lot of times they get skipped. I don’t know why as soon as I get an email confirmation I go on Receipt Hog and ask it just look for any online receipts and it skips a lot. Also, the spinner in the last 14 spins I’ve had I’ve won twice that’s just seems wrong.
Enttäuschend, obwohl die App eigentlich gut ist
Am Anfang hat die App bei mir wirklich gut funktioniert. Als ich meinen ersten Freund eingeladen habe, habe ich noch am selben Tag meine Belohnung erhalten. Vor ungefähr zwei Wochen habe ich dann drei weitere Freunde eingeladen, aber für diese Einladungen habe ich bis heute keine Belohnung bekommen. Deshalb habe ich den Support kontaktiert, weil ich dachte, dass sie mir bei dem Problem helfen können. Leider wurde mir trotz mehrerer Nachrichten überhaupt nicht geholfen. Meine Nachrichten werden einfach ignoriert und ich bekomme bis heute keine Antwort. Ich finde das sehr schade, weil mir die App eigentlich gefällt und ich anfangs wirklich zufrieden war. Aber wenn es Probleme gibt und der Support nicht reagiert, ist das leider sehr enttäuschend. Ich hoffe, dass sich das in Zukunft verbessert.

Auszahlung geht schnell.wenn man die Konten verknüpft hat ist es auch super.aber Kassenzettel hochladen ist eine Katastrophe.teilweise werden sie garnicht bearbeitet.teilweise heißt es Beleg undeutlich oder sie markieren ihn als alten Beleg obwohl er vom selben Tag ist…behebt das bitte

Leider kommt es sehr häufig vor, dass der Bon „nicht lesbar“ ist oder ein falscher Betrag erscheint. Hat man Pfand abgegeben, wird nie die richtige Summe erfasst

Frustrating!
What has happened to this app? The app checks my email for receipts but I constantly get an error when trying to submit them. Frustrating and a waste f my time. There are better apps out there.
Dates
I get frustrated when it says it’s a old receipt, but it’s not. I find this a lot with the no-frills or independent receipts.

Bitte meldet euch, hab da‘ ne Frage zwecks der Anzahl der Kassenbons leider nirgendswo was zu finden. Denn bei mir steht Anzahl erreicht von einem Geschäft
Digitale Kassenbon funktioniert nicht
Die App ist schön, man kann wirklich alle Bons Fotografieren. Leider dauert es bei mir bis zu 1 Woche bis es Akzeptiert wird. Was garnicht funktioniert ist leider der Digitale Kassenbon. Man kann sich mit seiner Emailadresse verbinden, aber die Kassenbons werden NICHT angezeigt bzw. Akzeptiert! Schade, wieviel mir dadurch mir nicht berechnet wurde.

I enjoy the app because it gives me a chance to earn money back from my purchases I’ve made and through surveys. It just takes a little bit of my time.
Unable to upload receipts for over two weeks now
I used to love this app and never had a problem. But for the last 2 1/2 to 3 weeks, I have not been able to upload any receipts. I even deleted the app and reinstalled and they still will not upload.
Problème avec les factures
J’aime bien receipt hog sauf qu’il y a souvent des problèmes avec la facture. Vous dites souvent que le reçu est trop vieux j’ai un reçu que j’ai acheté au mois de juillet et vous vous avez inversé les dates comme si il était du mois de mai mais en réalité c’était au mois de juillet, les magasins ont pas toujours la même position des mois et des jours je trouve ça décevant, j’en ai un de brunette justement au mois de juillet, que vous dites le reçu trop vieux et pourtant j’avais acheté la même journée ..

You Save AND You Make Use of Receipts You Would Throw Away!
I have been using this app for 6 almost 7 years and I have made back hundreds of dollars just from taking pictures of my receipts! The point, slot, and survey system is phenomenal. ANY physical receipt that is not older than 7 days you can submit. Online receipts once you link your email, Amazon, etc have a longer date which is something I really enjoy. I go by Dreadful Desire online / social platforms and I only do reviews on products & apps I’ve been using for awhile so I can give my honest take on it. If you are looking for some change to have on the side, I HIGHLY suggest getting this app since majority of the people I know throw away receipts anyway, so you might as well make something off of them! I still enjoy using it after all of these years :)

Reading Dates
While this app is ok it has some huge issues, it reads dates backwards and then says the date is old. My receipt dated August 4 was read as April 8th . This is the 2nd time this has happened not to mention why only 20 Points as the maximum?

Receipts get marked wrong all the time!!!! I’m tired of having to email to get credit
A grocery receipt clearly marked with the stores name on it somehow gets marked as ace hardware all the time. Than when I dispute it because of name they come back saying it’s an old receipt when the date is clearly marked on it!! I have to email them to get it fixed every week and this has been ongoing for over a year now!! You think they could get it fixed!

wieso zum Geier zeigt die App nach dem fotografieren des Kassenbons die Felder „Gesammtsumme, Datum, Ein Bild“ grün unterlegt an (also Bedingungen erfüllt) und dann wird der Bon doch nicht akzeptiert. Angeblich „Beleg undeutlich“ Entweder die App ist immer noch nicht ausgereift oder das ist Absicht. Habe ich ungefähr bei jeden 2, 3. Bon.
Not always accurate
While I appreciate the app because eventually there will be free rewards, it often will tell me my receipt is old when it’s not or it’s unclear image when it’s not, even after submitting for review it will half the time come back the same and by that point I’ve long filed the receipt away. It also takes A LOT of receipts to actually earn any cash back. It’s not actually good value for the time spent doing it. It also misses online receipts often from online retailers like Wayfair even though my email is connected.
